Clouds quickly became my favorite NF album, given the variety and experimentation he went through. Lookin forward to yall finishing it.
This song wasn't about specific Layers to him on a personal level. It was about the layers of cadences that he has at his disposal and his means of delivery. It also describes the different messages/topics that he can speak on. Even his layers have layers in the song which ironically is a part of the layers song which is one of the layers within this album and again this mixtape is a layer in his big picture of music. Absolutely genius! Unlike myself, because I apparently have the inability to properly describe things with correct punctuation and sentence forming lol
