Ssj4 is my favorite transformation. If super brings it back I hope they make it a base form. I always though it looked more like a base form than a SSJ transformation.

I think it would be super interesting plot wise as it would nerf all the saiyans and bring everyone back to the DBZ power levels. More SSJ3 woohoo! Though since SSJ3 is inefficient and for this hypothetical not powerful enough they would have to use SSJ4.
It's their full natural potential, not their natural form. You're turning them into Frieza's race by saying that their top form is their natural state/look. They already look like what they're supposed to look and Oozaru is when they lose control and unleash the veast within them. SSJ4 is like an Oozaru transformation but with the difference of them having full control and much, much more speed and power, due to it being an evolution, rather than unleashing an inner spirit/beast (Oozaru). I hope it makes sense to you.
SSJ 4 should be the true form of Super Saiyan God. A Saiyan God would want to represent everything of it's creation. From their humanoid forms to the ozaru forms. SSJ 4 absolutely represents that perfectly.
**2years later** i just wanna know, why did they introduce SSG as if they had a SAIYAN god in the past? I wonder if any Saiyan can achieve Wrathful like Broly. Imagine Broly teaching the U6 Saiyans (e.g Cabba) Wrathful & they mix it with Super Saiyan That could be an alternative way to achieve SSJ4 without the need of a Tail

SSJ4 is my favorite transformation. I hope it is in Super Goku remembers his past about the Saiyans and grows a tail. In witch he did in the new manga (Except the tail part). I want the name to become Primal Instinct.
I feel like the best way to bring back Super Sayian 4 is through Broly, Maybe Super Sayian 4 can be his Ultimate form like how Goku has MUI and TUI, Vegeta Ultra Ego, Gohan’s Beast form, And Frieza’s black form.
Perhaps ss4 could be introduced via yamoshi, maybe after he died he kept training, like goku did after he died in the cell games, only for far longer since yamoshi is an ancient saiyan, eventually unlocking not only ssj2 and 3, but 4 as well, along with the fact the saiyan tail is the key to preventing the stamina loss and strain on the body that comes with 3, then maybe goku finds him while looking for a new master since his way of mastering ui has diverted from whis' and yamoshi teaches him the form
I like the idea of it. essentially being what a super Saiyan would be if they had their tail. Power of oozaru with a super Saiyan. I haven't seen GT in a long time so i don't remember if that's exactly what it was. I know the tail was important for ssj4.
With how iffy supers writing is sometimes, I don’t really expect anything too crazy with the form itself. However if after super we got a remake of GT would be crazy to see
A way they could quite easily bring it back is that because gohan,goku,broly,vegeta already have more powerful forms and no longer need to progress the saiyan path that goten and trunks want to catch up and they continue trying to power up from ssj3 and achieve ssj4 which isn’t nearly as strong as the others but is still stronger than 3
I honestly find it more likely that GT is reinstated as a canon parallel timeline/universe, and then both universes somehow end up meeting each other. Maybe in a second Tournament of Power, the big event would be UI Goku vs SSJ4+ Goku.
They already are making Scenario 4 (return to GT),talking from 2024,they made the Baby arc (with Granolah),the Super Android 17 (with the Super Hero movie) and now they'll probably make a Dark Dragon arc
They might later on down the line, you never know. DBS has revived a LOT of non-canon elements from the past so I could definitely see this being one of them later in the series.
I just hope that they give SSJ4 to Goten since he desperately need some attention especially since wveryone in his family has a Unique Transformation Edit* If they Redo GT Maybe have Goten,Trunks and Pan go find the Dark Dragonballs having the excuse that Goku and Vegeta are visiting anothe universe or something (Maybe give SSJ Blue to Trunks and have them fuse into SSJ4Blue Gotenks)
Oosaru was referenced as a saiyans true form. They could use the primal saiyan name and reference it as a true base form vs a super saiyan form. It doesn't look super saiyan at all anyway. It looks like a true saiyan. This base form would allow goku amd vegeta to fully utilize their god powers without backlash. And support whis's training when he said they need to stop using transformations and improve their power in their base forms

I think something they could also do for possibly bringing Ssj4 into canon or at least some concepts of Ssj4 is to also add the concept of Ssj4 to Goten and Trunks as part of their development. Like I think it would actually be really cool development and different for Goten and Trunks if they add the Ssj4 concept to their development and growth. Ways they could do this for Goten and Trunks is: -Have Goten and Trunks individually achieve Ssj3 without fusion, master and evolve Ssj3, and then add the Ssj4 concept to a evolved Ssj3 and have the hair be like Ssj4, but golden. -Have Goten and Trunks achieve a canonized Ssj4 type of form from more experience, more development, and exploring throughout Universe 7 and the other universes. Like something they could also do and I hope they do for Goten and Trunks is have them actually become Galactic Patrolmen and go on tons of missions throughout Universe 7 and missions in the other universes as Galactic Patrolmen. And during their time in the Galactic Patrol and a way they also could bring Ssj4 into canon and bring it into canon for Goten and Trunks is Goten and Trunks also learn more about the Saiyans and the great ape power from tons of experience and training from Vegeta, Broly, and Goku. And wanting to actually use the great ape power and use in their Ssj forms and also wondering if there’s actually a non god ki Ssj form that can actually be stronger than a full power Ssj3, they try find ways to actually get it, and during one of their Galactic Patrol missions, Goten, Trunks, and Vegeta has one of the Kais create a ritual for Goten and Trunks that actually allows them to ether grow Saiyan tails or use the Great Ape power without a tail. Then after the ritual, Vegeta and the kai that created the ritual tells Goten and Trunks that they have to be in their Ssj forms and have to really focus on using the Great Ape power and also use intense rage to really awaken the power. And then Goten and Trunks after going through some more development and after having a rage boost while in their Ssj forms while during a battle as well as truly focusing on using the great ape power from within finally go through the golden great ape process, but instead of the regular Golden Great ape, it’s more of a giant golden aura Great Ape susanoos and then we have Goten and Trunks in their Golden Great Ape susanoos fighting each other until they finally gain control and transform into a canonized Ssj4 that as you said should have Golden hair and fur without being shirtless as well. And it would also be cool if they develop Saiyan Hybrid variants of a canonized Ssj4 as well as Goten’s own potential allowing him to also have his own unique variant as well. And I would love it too if Goten and Trunks apply God Ki to a canonized Ssj4 and have their unique variants and Ssj4 variants of Ssj God, Ssj Blue, Ssj Blue Evolution, and their own Ultra God Ki Forms. -Use both ideas I mentioned for Goten and Trunks getting a canonized Ssj4 along with them applying God Ki to a canonized Ssj4 and developing Ssj4 variants and Ssj4 Saiyan Hybrid variants of the God Ki forms. Side note: Another name they could also call a canonized Ssj4 besides Primale Ssj or Ssj Primal is Ultimate Super Saiyan or True Ssj.

Correct me if I am mistaken: The Dragon Ball Super anime chronologically takes place in the span of time (roughly) after the defeat of Kid Buu but before the tournament in which Goku meets Uub? Whenever I think of this being the case, I find it limits what reasonably can (or maybe 'should') happen in DBS.
I know this sounds crazy but if goten trunks were teenagers I wouldnt mind them having ssj4 It would make them unique and goten and trunks could focus on a saiyan route of power Goku focus on angel path Vegeta the God path Gohan his ultimate/kai path Broly his lssj form Goten trunks the super saiyan/saiyan Route
With the whole Vegita being trained by Beerus thing I think it would be cool to have a transformation form based on something on par with the power of the person that trains them like how Goku learns to use Ultra Instinct form Whis who is always in a state of Ultra Instinct. So what if this version of Super Saiyan 4 is the equivalent of Goku's Ultra Instinct to Whis's but for Beerus' Rage. Then imagine if Goku learns that too or even Vegita and Goku fuse and their form Vegito or Gogeta, maybe they create a balanced form combining this new Super Saiyan 4 and Ultra Instinct.
What they can do to bring SSJ4 back is to make it tie to the first super saiyan because when we first here Vegeta from the namiek saga talking about the the first super saiyan and we see what looks like a super saiyan giant ape which could be brolys form because broly has the rage form similar to it and it would make more sense.
In my opinion about Super Saiyan 4 return on the U6 Saiyans scenario; It's not only Super Saiyan 4 form has returned and introduced in DBS as canon, but it's also would be the first Super Saiyan 4 females like Caulifla and Kale would be introduced
What would be neat is after Gohan unlocks Beast mode, Goku and Vegeta find out and try to figure out this alternate form of transformation coming to the conclusion that b/c Gohan is only half saiyan he can only attain this inferior version of a transformation, which is still a tremendous powerup close to SSJ Blue in terms of power, but the true form of this alternation transformation requires the one thing they removed, their tails, Vegeta would then try to persuade Bulma to build a machine that can shoot enhanced flux waves to stimulate the Oozaru transformation in hopes of re-growing their lost tails, Goku being the first to volunteer stating that if anything were to go wrong that at least Vegeta can stop him should it be necessary, but Bulma being the smartest woman in the room opted to move this experiment off planet to a planet similar to earths but uninhabited by doing this should Goku and Vegeta fail to control the Oozaru transformation they would at least be able to rampage until the transformation had run out of energy, this way their tails could remain intact. Also and due to both of their abilities and understanding of divinity, they instead are able to control their transformation completely turning from brown to gold and then ascending to the next form of SSj which was SSJ4, feeling their emergence Beerus would feel enticed to go investigate arriving with Whis just as Goku and Vegeta begin their ascension into SSJ4. (By the way it would be a huge hassle to have their fur color the same colors in GT as Both are able to go GOD form and Blue in SSJ4 form in this could happen scenario, so for asctetic wise it would be better to have their fur golden and their hair gold like the early SSJ forms) Also because of their previous forms of God and Blue they are also able to incorporate their divine forms with their new SSJ4 body, Goku being able to call upon SSJ4 Blue Kaioken x20 and Vegeta able to call upon SSJ4 Blue Evolved. Now that would be an epic scenario to witness
Here’s what my “current” idea for it could be. Super Sayia-Jin 4 in the “main” continuity (manga & anime). I’d change the name to Ikari Sayia-Jin form (or Primal Super Sayia-Jin but I’ll stick with Ikari Sayia-Jin for this). How to achieve this form is to become more like Oozaru (having an appearence that resembles more of the Oozaru and mind set of it so Broly would be more monster then “human”). This is just like the 2nd of the steps to get Super Sayia-Jin 4, Broly would control himself and achieve a form that looks like Super Sayia-Jin 4. The form would have dark voilent red fur and even darker for the hair with brighter highlights on it. Lighter voilent red color for the eyes. The hair would be wild like the official Super Sayia-Jin 4 but also spikier like Super Sayia-Jin Grade 5, so not blocky hair like the official Super Sayia-Jin 4 and Grade 1 / 4 has (I think they do idk). The hair wouldn’t have the mullet thing from the original Super Sayia-Jin 4. The muscle mass would increase just as much as the official Super Sayia-Jin 4. I’d remove the eye liner (for those who didn’t like it). The multiplier would be x40,000 (I believe that’s the multiplier for regular Super Sayia-Jin 4), the form can be stacked with Super Sayia-Jin forms like Grade 1/4, 2, 3, 5, Super Sayia-Jin 3, Super Sayia-Jin God, Super Sayia-Jin Blue & Blue Evolution. I took the ideas from Super Sayia-Jin 5. Okay maybe it’s a bit too much.
Here's an idea.... Walk with me in this one.... So Broly turns into his ikari form, then later into a super saiyan. Yet even after this, broly still has one more transformation (his green-haired "full power" form). Here's my theory: Broly did not transform, initially, into a super saiyan while in his ikari form. Intstead, the death of his father snapped him out of his rage, and the pain triggered his super saiyan transformation. When Broly goes into his green- haired form, he is taping into his ikari power while in super saiyan. Broly, in his green-haired form, is in an equivalent state to goku when he was in his golden ozaru form. Broly is unable to transform into a great ape due to not having a tail, but as it's stated in the movie, Broly is in a transformation that is effective the ozaru power-up in human form. Theoretically this could also potentially mean that he could transformation into an ozaru without a moon if he had a tail, but that's for another day. The point is, ssj4 could be introduced as a purely unique thing to broly and would be achieved as a result of him gaining control over his "full power" form, similarly to how goku achieved it in gt by mastering his golden ozaru form. I personally think that would be amazing, especially as each of the main cast (goku, vegeta, gohan, piccolo, etc) are getting their own power progressions now, to have this be a unique aspect to Broly's path of progression. Also I just really hate the idea of just giving Broly God ki and calling it a day. A) It's lazy, and B) it would wouldn't give Broly the power to climb to the top of the ladder; it would give him the power to break the ladder. No one wants Broly do busted no one can fight him. That's boring. Anywho, great video. 👍

Well, SS4 looks best on Goku. Then OG Broly came in and showed us what his version of SS5 looks like. And what Alex of UnrealEntgaming did with SS4 in his The 5 Strongest storyline, I love it even more! So I am bias wanting Goku to reclaaim it. Here are several additional possibilities to make Super Saiyan 4 cannon: 1. Goten! Have a time skip in which Goten comes in with Super 2 grade 3 and is training to catch up with Trunks who Vegeta pushed to gain SS3. Goten trains and during a special move in which he uses hidden balls of energy in space to trick Trunks, but loses. Stretched out and breathing hard, he feels like he failed, but unbeknownst to everyone, Goten has been hiding his regrown tail! As he stares into the sky, he sees a glowing ball of light he forgot to use, but from that height, it somehow absorbs sunlight creating Blutz waves. Goten goes great ape to everyone's surprise. Over a few minutes, he is shown how to regain conscience and mutates the golden power into SS4! 2. Goku's quest to break Ultra Instinct limits. A major battle against a more powerful Vegeta who beats him. In this, Goku digs deeper than he has ever done before causing the god ki to physically change him, he gains his tail back and in base discovers a greater need for power. It causes the mutation and we get SS4 but also a new level of Ultra Instinct.
Hmmm what if Broly's Wrath form was the key? SSJ4 comes from the evolution of that form. Like yes you mastered the oozaru into human form, next you go super saiyan in wrath mode and blammo Super Saiyan 4!
I think super redoing gt would be the better option in my opinion. Simply Change the wish that turned goku into a kid in one that stop the sayians from using their god forms
They Should Make Gohan get it first, just like he was the first to unlock SSJ 2. Maybe The Form could even be entirely unrelated to SSJ. They could call it Oozaru Tamed or something. Would be a cool way to make Gohan relevant again.
Aye y’all check this out and tell me if you like it….. storyline: the strongest opponent they ever faced is giving all the saiyans in full power from ultra instinct Goku, beast Gohan, ultra Ego Vegeta, rage trunks and Goten A run for there money and right when Goku and Vegeta decide to fuse out of desperation the sky gets dark (I’m going to call the villain Brahma) and every starts looking at the sky while Brahma says ,”calling another Saiyan” soon you can see an old man with white Saiyan hair…….just staring at them not saying a word with the look of disgust. Brahma looks at him while saying “ you come to help lol I suggest you……….” Then gets smashed stared at and kicked to the side like he was nothing. He stares at all the Saiyans pissed off. Vegeta says,” who……who are you…. You have Saiyan blood… that I do know” Goku is in the back just smiling, so he says to Vegeta’ “ your Fathers father knew of me but I’ve seen to be forgotten……. I am… thee first…… i am thee Vegeta….. who do you think you were named after…. Surly not your father and you are not worthy to carry my name…. Neither of you are worthy of the blood that pumps through your body. Goku says,”ahhh lol I wouldn’t say that… we’ve fought some pretty tough guys annnnnnnd Gods, VEGETA says,” I know….. Ive seen them all….. all of you… take one of them beans that you eat and come at me full power…… now” Goku is the first to attack at mastered ultra instinct but can’t get past his base energy barrier…… Ultra ego vegeta comes in rage but is stoped too…. Followed by the rest of them accept for Brolly. Goku yells at Brolly and said can you give us a hand. Brolly comes at VEGETA full power and hits the Barrier. He tires everything and in the process he looses control….. VEGETA appears in front of him and and takes full power shots from Brolly without as much as a scratch and grabs him by the throat and says………. Calm down And VEGETA eyes turn all white for a split second and he says…..the road you are on will indeed lead you to me….. one day. He looks at all the Sayins while holding Brolly by the throat and says,” all these transformations…… and yet you can’t even stand next to me….. what a waste and a disgrace to me….. do you know not why were created….. do you know not your full potential………..the color of you hair has no meaning to me…. My hair is white because I’m old…. The color of my tail is the only thing that matters…… I will show you your true form. He lets Brolly go and as falls down grasping for air………. This could be how you bring out SS4
Hmmm, if Broly were to get it in DBS canon. We saw how powerful he was in his Full Power SSJ form (basically Legendary SSJ), and that matched Gogeta Blue. Him in SSJ4 would be insanely OP.
Super saiyan 4 was originally to be blonde in dbgt but it was rejected Limit breaker ssj4 was also suppose to be blonde but for some reason they didn't choose it.
Oddly enough, a good chunk of the spinoff material portrays SSJ4 as being on par with Blue (having DBS Goku need Ultra Instinct to beat his GT counterpart).
Ss4 need to come back but not in gold form it don’t look right . But if they do make it in the show it would be bad ass and the real dball fans will love it more then lazy blue form
i love it but adding it after god, blue, blue evolution, instinct, and ego seems a bit of a loss at this point. unless they do something with gohan's beast from or they change it into a new god form
They could do a call back to dbzand make the form a derivative of the Ultimet/potential unlocking explanationthat elder Kai spoke about allowing you to use the power of the great ape form ruing into a giant great ape but since the transformation is much more physically drastic some remnants of the transformation remain. They could also lean int o gohans Z fits of anger as a kid where he jumped in power drastically and gained a disposition which was drastically similar to goku’s later SSJ4( like really compare how gohan acts to goku in SSJ4.) also gohan seems to be the only halfbreed with the recessive tail trait. This trait unlike in goku has not been sealed by kami and gohans tail has ren grown before. All of that and the Moro arc where Moro made note of a well notable increase in power in gohan ( enough that he verbalized it) when gohan lost control and in the panel it looked like one of his old rage moments so super is already referencing his anger boosts and what is a more savage angry transformation than ssj4 where goku stated that he almost didn’t have control of the power in his body but have it filtered through ultimate to make some semblance of sense as a dbs form. Also in dragon ball hero’s gohans most memorable thing at least to me is when he transformed into SSJ4 after going into some internal meditating cave type deal and fighting the super 17 that had 18 absorbed thing.
This is a dope retcon. Or reboot. Whichever. But thatd be sick. GT Goku could regrow it. And vegeta just couldnt after Earth. Maybe only until adulthood, they can regrow them.
I don’t necessarily believe SSJ4 needs to be part of the godly transformations in order to be on par with Super Saiyan God and Blue. Simply for the reason characters like Jiren exist. So why couldn’t SSJ4 be on Super Saiyan God and Blue level just as a mortal form?

Give sayajins an ancient connection to an old God of destruction that looked like an ape. Retcon the Ozaru form to be a genetic unlock to that ancient God. Then make super sayajin 4 be a state that unlocks the full God form, a true super sayajin God and let it be the answer to the prophecy.
Maybe they learn it and it’s not as strong as god (normal 4) but they can wield it much longer better ki control and durability and then they learn to mix it with their ultra forms for their peak forms
I don't really care that much about super, couple goodish sort of arcs primarily for nostalgia reasons, but so many issues keep it from even being a decent anime...that said I'd still love to see ssj4 come back (way cooler aesthetically than any of the silly hair color changes brought in by super).

I hope they don’t remake ssj4 leave the design and color the same way. If they change it then I wouldn’t want it back. That would be corny and leave the name the same. And brown and gold color I don’t like it. If it does change color it should change from red to silver for Goku if Goku turned ssj4 and used MUI stacked on top. And for vegeta his fur turns purple when having Ultra Ego stacked on top
I'd like it if they kept the design the same too, if they ever were to bring it back. I do like the idea of it changing if you stack it with other forms or power-ups though.
I think ss4 can come back by aging when goku and vegeta reach there limit at age 80 are forced to to use ss and ssg do to how the other form rely on a lot of ki to use leaving them to further use ssg and master it since it make them a little bit younger and when they reach a master version of ssg the form changes and more power is added to it and they return to there prime selves allowing them to use ssgss with more power and a new look
Gohan uses dragon balls to awaken his Saiyan spirit giving him his tail back. He sees the full moon and goes great ape. Goes on rampage until he sees Pan. Gains his sanity back and then becomes Super Saiyan 4. Beast mode is gay.
The only way possible is this: a new saiyan is coming to earth, a really powerful one. And his ssj4 form is even stronger than any other forms/technique ( ui).... it's ME!!! The most powerful warrior ever!!

They need to retcon the ssj / ssj god / lssj lore. If broly is the LSSJ what the hell is goku and vegeta ? Which one actually was the original myth was about ?
The LSSJ lore makes sense for the U6 Saiyans since SSJ1 is common for them However LSSJ doesn't make sense for the U7 Saiyans since there was only one Super Saiyan before Goku
And I would hate to see a golden Super Saiyan 4 I think I like it going a Super Saiyan 4 I would love to see that too Dragon Ball GT to be reshaped and modernized
Personally I don't want SSJ4 in Super, I rather it stays a GT exclusive. I do want to see Vegeta learn to tap into the Wrath/Ikari form though since he would beable to control that power a lot better than even Broly
Fair opinion, I'd be okay with it being a GT exclusive form too. But I definitely agree that other characters need to tap into the Ikari form, Vegeta especially would be pretty cool to see.
Any SSJ4 should be exclusive of Vegeta, he should reach the pinnacle of Sayan natural raw power, opposed to the learned martial training of Goku. And this should be logical: Goku is a martial fighter who improves with training, Vegeta is a warrior and a strategist that should improve tapping into his own powers

I like to think that super sayian 4 is the true form of the sayians, how they are suposed to look like
It's their full natural potential, not their natural form. You're turning them into Frieza's race by saying that their top form is their natural state/look. They already look like what they're supposed to look and Oozaru is when they lose control and unleash the veast within them. SSJ4 is like an Oozaru transformation but with the difference of them having full control and much, much more speed and power, due to it being an evolution, rather than unleashing an inner spirit/beast (Oozaru). I hope it makes sense to you.

SSJ 4 should be the true form of Super Saiyan God. A Saiyan God would want to represent everything of it's creation. From their humanoid forms to the ozaru forms. SSJ 4 absolutely represents that perfectly.

I feel like the best way to bring back Super Sayian 4 is through Broly, Maybe Super Sayian 4 can be his Ultimate form like how Goku has MUI and TUI, Vegeta Ultra Ego, Gohan’s Beast form, And Frieza’s black form.
Perhaps ss4 could be introduced via yamoshi, maybe after he died he kept training, like goku did after he died in the cell games, only for far longer since yamoshi is an ancient saiyan, eventually unlocking not only ssj2 and 3, but 4 as well, along with the fact the saiyan tail is the key to preventing the stamina loss and strain on the body that comes with 3, then maybe goku finds him while looking for a new master since his way of mastering ui has diverted from whis' and yamoshi teaches him the form

A way they could quite easily bring it back is that because gohan,goku,broly,vegeta already have more powerful forms and no longer need to progress the saiyan path that goten and trunks want to catch up and they continue trying to power up from ssj3 and achieve ssj4 which isn’t nearly as strong as the others but is still stronger than 3
I honestly find it more likely that GT is reinstated as a canon parallel timeline/universe, and then both universes somehow end up meeting each other. Maybe in a second Tournament of Power, the big event would be UI Goku vs SSJ4+ Goku.
They already are making Scenario 4 (return to GT),talking from 2024,they made the Baby arc (with Granolah),the Super Android 17 (with the Super Hero movie) and now they'll probably make a Dark Dragon arc

Oosaru was referenced as a saiyans true form. They could use the primal saiyan name and reference it as a true base form vs a super saiyan form. It doesn't look super saiyan at all anyway. It looks like a true saiyan. This base form would allow goku amd vegeta to fully utilize their god powers without backlash. And support whis's training when he said they need to stop using transformations and improve their power in their base forms
I wouldn't mind seeing an ultra instinct Super Saiyan 4 or ultra ego super saiyan 4.

I think something they could also do for possibly bringing Ssj4 into canon or at least some concepts of Ssj4 is to also add the concept of Ssj4 to Goten and Trunks as part of their development. Like I think it would actually be really cool development and different for Goten and Trunks if they add the Ssj4 concept to their development and growth. Ways they could do this for Goten and Trunks is:
-Have Goten and Trunks individually achieve Ssj3 without fusion, master and evolve Ssj3, and then add the Ssj4 concept to a evolved Ssj3 and have the hair be like Ssj4, but golden.
-Have Goten and Trunks achieve a canonized Ssj4 type of form from more experience, more development, and exploring throughout Universe 7 and the other universes. Like something they could also do and I hope they do for Goten and Trunks is have them actually become Galactic Patrolmen and go on tons of missions throughout Universe 7 and missions in the other universes as Galactic Patrolmen. And during their time in the Galactic Patrol and a way they also could bring Ssj4 into canon and bring it into canon for Goten and Trunks is Goten and Trunks also learn more about the Saiyans and the great ape power from tons of experience and training from Vegeta, Broly, and Goku. And wanting to actually use the great ape power and use in their Ssj forms and also wondering if there’s actually a non god ki Ssj form that can actually be stronger than a full power Ssj3, they try find ways to actually get it, and during one of their Galactic Patrol missions, Goten, Trunks, and Vegeta has one of the Kais create a ritual for Goten and Trunks that actually allows them to ether grow Saiyan tails or use the Great Ape power without a tail. Then after the ritual, Vegeta and the kai that created the ritual tells Goten and Trunks that they have to be in their Ssj forms and have to really focus on using the Great Ape power and also use intense rage to really awaken the power. And then Goten and Trunks after going through some more development and after having a rage boost while in their Ssj forms while during a battle as well as truly focusing on using the great ape power from within finally go through the golden great ape process, but instead of the regular Golden Great ape, it’s more of a giant golden aura Great Ape susanoos and then we have Goten and Trunks in their Golden Great Ape susanoos fighting each other until they finally gain control and transform into a canonized Ssj4 that as you said should have Golden hair and fur without being shirtless as well. And it would also be cool if they develop Saiyan Hybrid variants of a canonized Ssj4 as well as Goten’s own potential allowing him to also have his own unique variant as well. And I would love it too if Goten and Trunks apply God Ki to a canonized Ssj4 and have their unique variants and Ssj4 variants of Ssj God, Ssj Blue, Ssj Blue Evolution, and their own Ultra God Ki Forms.
-Use both ideas I mentioned for Goten and Trunks getting a canonized Ssj4 along with them applying God Ki to a canonized Ssj4 and developing Ssj4 variants and Ssj4 Saiyan Hybrid variants of the God Ki forms.
Side note: Another name they could also call a canonized Ssj4 besides Primale Ssj or Ssj Primal is Ultimate Super Saiyan or True Ssj.
Here's a way I could explain it back, Introduce a new villain that syphons god ki and the way to beat this villain would be getting past super Saiyan 3

Whenever I think of this being the case, I find it limits what reasonably can (or maybe 'should') happen in DBS.

I think what they did with broly being able to tap into the ozaru power with out turning into one fully is a good foundation to start with
With the whole Vegita being trained by Beerus thing I think it would be cool to have a transformation form based on something on par with the power of the person that trains them like how Goku learns to use Ultra Instinct form Whis who is always in a state of Ultra Instinct. So what if this version of Super Saiyan 4 is the equivalent of Goku's Ultra Instinct to Whis's but for Beerus' Rage. Then imagine if Goku learns that too or even Vegita and Goku fuse and their form Vegito or Gogeta, maybe they create a balanced form combining this new Super Saiyan 4 and Ultra Instinct.
What they can do to bring SSJ4 back is to make it tie to the first super saiyan because when we first here Vegeta from the namiek saga talking about the the first super saiyan and we see what looks like a super saiyan giant ape which could be brolys form because broly has the rage form similar to it and it would make more sense.

In my opinion about Super Saiyan 4 return on the U6 Saiyans scenario; It's not only Super Saiyan 4 form has returned and introduced in DBS as canon, but it's also would be the first Super Saiyan 4 females like Caulifla and Kale would be introduced

What would be neat is after Gohan unlocks Beast mode, Goku and Vegeta find out and try to figure out this alternate form of transformation coming to the conclusion that b/c Gohan is only half saiyan he can only attain this inferior version of a transformation, which is still a tremendous powerup close to SSJ Blue in terms of power, but the true form of this alternation transformation requires the one thing they removed, their tails, Vegeta would then try to persuade Bulma to build a machine that can shoot enhanced flux waves to stimulate the Oozaru transformation in hopes of re-growing their lost tails, Goku being the first to volunteer stating that if anything were to go wrong that at least Vegeta can stop him should it be necessary, but Bulma being the smartest woman in the room opted to move this experiment off planet to a planet similar to earths but uninhabited by doing this should Goku and Vegeta fail to control the Oozaru transformation they would at least be able to rampage until the transformation had run out of energy, this way their tails could remain intact. Also and due to both of their abilities and understanding of divinity, they instead are able to control their transformation completely turning from brown to gold and then ascending to the next form of SSj which was SSJ4, feeling their emergence Beerus would feel enticed to go investigate arriving with Whis just as Goku and Vegeta begin their ascension into SSJ4. (By the way it would be a huge hassle to have their fur color the same colors in GT as Both are able to go GOD form and Blue in SSJ4 form in this could happen scenario, so for asctetic wise it would be better to have their fur golden and their hair gold like the early SSJ forms) Also because of their previous forms of God and Blue they are also able to incorporate their divine forms with their new SSJ4 body, Goku being able to call upon SSJ4 Blue Kaioken x20 and Vegeta able to call upon SSJ4 Blue Evolved. Now that would be an epic scenario to witness

Here’s what my “current” idea for it could be.
Super Sayia-Jin 4 in the “main” continuity (manga & anime).
I’d change the name to Ikari Sayia-Jin form (or Primal Super Sayia-Jin but I’ll stick with Ikari Sayia-Jin for this).
How to achieve this form is to become more like Oozaru (having an appearence that resembles more of the Oozaru and mind set of it so Broly would be more monster then “human”).
This is just like the 2nd of the steps to get Super Sayia-Jin 4, Broly would control himself and achieve a form that looks like Super Sayia-Jin 4.
The form would have dark voilent red fur and even darker for the hair with brighter highlights on it.
Lighter voilent red color for the eyes.
The hair would be wild like the official Super Sayia-Jin 4 but also spikier like Super Sayia-Jin Grade 5, so not blocky hair like the official Super Sayia-Jin 4 and Grade 1 / 4 has (I think they do idk).
The hair wouldn’t have the mullet thing from the original Super Sayia-Jin 4.
The muscle mass would increase just as much as the official Super Sayia-Jin 4.
I’d remove the eye liner (for those who didn’t like it).
The multiplier would be x40,000 (I believe that’s the multiplier for regular Super Sayia-Jin 4), the form can be stacked with Super Sayia-Jin forms like Grade 1/4, 2, 3, 5, Super Sayia-Jin 3, Super Sayia-Jin God, Super Sayia-Jin Blue & Blue Evolution.
I took the ideas from Super Sayia-Jin 5.

Here's an idea.... Walk with me in this one.... So Broly turns into his ikari form, then later into a super saiyan. Yet even after this, broly still has one more transformation (his green-haired "full power" form). Here's my theory: Broly did not transform, initially, into a super saiyan while in his ikari form. Intstead, the death of his father snapped him out of his rage, and the pain triggered his super saiyan transformation. When Broly goes into his green- haired form, he is taping into his ikari power while in super saiyan. Broly, in his green-haired form, is in an equivalent state to goku when he was in his golden ozaru form. Broly is unable to transform into a great ape due to not having a tail, but as it's stated in the movie, Broly is in a transformation that is effective the ozaru power-up in human form. Theoretically this could also potentially mean that he could transformation into an ozaru without a moon if he had a tail, but that's for another day. The point is, ssj4 could be introduced as a purely unique thing to broly and would be achieved as a result of him gaining control over his "full power" form, similarly to how goku achieved it in gt by mastering his golden ozaru form.
I personally think that would be amazing, especially as each of the main cast (goku, vegeta, gohan, piccolo, etc) are getting their own power progressions now, to have this be a unique aspect to Broly's path of progression.
Also I just really hate the idea of just giving Broly God ki and calling it a day. A) It's lazy, and B) it would wouldn't give Broly the power to climb to the top of the ladder; it would give him the power to break the ladder. No one wants Broly do busted no one can fight him. That's boring.

Well, SS4 looks best on Goku. Then OG Broly came in and showed us what his version of SS5 looks like. And what Alex of UnrealEntgaming did with SS4 in his The 5 Strongest storyline, I love it even more!
So I am bias wanting Goku to reclaaim it.
Here are several additional possibilities to make Super Saiyan 4 cannon:
1. Goten!
Have a time skip in which Goten comes in with Super 2 grade 3 and is training to catch up with Trunks who Vegeta pushed to gain SS3. Goten trains and during a special move in which he uses hidden balls of energy in space to trick Trunks, but loses.
Stretched out and breathing hard, he feels like he failed, but unbeknownst to everyone, Goten has been hiding his regrown tail!
As he stares into the sky, he sees a glowing ball of light he forgot to use, but from that height, it somehow absorbs sunlight creating Blutz waves. Goten goes great ape to everyone's surprise. Over a few minutes, he is shown how to regain conscience and mutates the golden power into SS4!
2. Goku's quest to break Ultra Instinct limits. A major battle against a more powerful Vegeta who beats him. In this, Goku digs deeper than he has ever done before causing the god ki to physically change him, he gains his tail back and in base discovers a greater need for power. It causes the mutation and we get SS4 but also a new level of Ultra Instinct.
Hmmm what if Broly's Wrath form was the key? SSJ4 comes from the evolution of that form. Like yes you mastered the oozaru into human form, next you go super saiyan in wrath mode and blammo Super Saiyan 4!

Aye y’all check this out and tell me if you like it….. storyline: the strongest opponent they ever faced is giving all the saiyans in full power from ultra instinct Goku, beast Gohan, ultra Ego Vegeta, rage trunks and Goten A run for there money and right when Goku and Vegeta decide to fuse out of desperation the sky gets dark (I’m going to call the villain Brahma) and every starts looking at the sky while Brahma says ,”calling another Saiyan” soon you can see an old man with white Saiyan hair…….just staring at them not saying a word with the look of disgust. Brahma looks at him while saying “ you come to help lol I suggest you……….” Then gets smashed stared at and kicked to the side like he was nothing. He stares at all the Saiyans pissed off. Vegeta says,” who……who are you…. You have Saiyan blood… that I do know” Goku is in the back just smiling, so he says to Vegeta’ “ your Fathers father knew of me but I’ve seen to be forgotten……. I am… thee first…… i am thee Vegeta….. who do you think you were named after…. Surly not your father and you are not worthy to carry my name…. Neither of you are worthy of the blood that pumps through your body. Goku says,”ahhh lol I wouldn’t say that… we’ve fought some pretty tough guys annnnnnnd Gods, VEGETA says,” I know….. Ive seen them all….. all of you… take one of them beans that you eat and come at me full power…… now” Goku is the first to attack at mastered ultra instinct but can’t get past his base energy barrier…… Ultra ego vegeta comes in rage but is stoped too…. Followed by the rest of them accept for Brolly. Goku yells at Brolly and said can you give us a hand. Brolly comes at VEGETA full power and hits the Barrier. He tires everything and in the process he looses control….. VEGETA appears in front of him and and takes full power shots from Brolly without as much as a scratch and grabs him by the throat and says………. Calm down And VEGETA eyes turn all white for a split second and he says…..the road you are on will indeed lead you to me….. one day. He looks at all the Sayins while holding Brolly by the throat and says,” all these transformations…… and yet you can’t even stand next to me….. what a waste and a disgrace to me….. do you know not why were created….. do you know not your full potential………..the color of you hair has no meaning to me…. My hair is white because I’m old…. The color of my tail is the only thing that matters…… I will show you your true form. He lets Brolly go and as falls down grasping for air………. This could be how you bring out SS4

Oddly enough, a good chunk of the spinoff material portrays SSJ4 as being on par with Blue (having DBS Goku need Ultra Instinct to beat his GT counterpart).

To connect GT in Super.. it's none other than the concept of Multiverse introduce by Marvel Disney through Dr Stange
They could do a call back to dbzand make the form a derivative of the Ultimet/potential unlocking explanationthat elder Kai spoke about allowing you to use the power of the great ape form ruing into a giant great ape but since the transformation is much more physically drastic some remnants of the transformation remain. They could also lean int o gohans Z fits of anger as a kid where he jumped in power drastically and gained a disposition which was drastically similar to goku’s later SSJ4( like really compare how gohan acts to goku in SSJ4.) also gohan seems to be the only halfbreed with the recessive tail trait. This trait unlike in goku has not been sealed by kami and gohans tail has ren grown before. All of that and the Moro arc where Moro made note of a well notable increase in power in gohan ( enough that he verbalized it) when gohan lost control and in the panel it looked like one of his old rage moments so super is already referencing his anger boosts and what is a more savage angry transformation than ssj4 where goku stated that he almost didn’t have control of the power in his body but have it filtered through ultimate to make some semblance of sense as a dbs form. Also in dragon ball hero’s gohans most memorable thing at least to me is when he transformed into SSJ4 after going into some internal meditating cave type deal and fighting the super 17 that had 18 absorbed thing.
This is a dope retcon. Or reboot. Whichever. But thatd be sick. GT Goku could regrow it. And vegeta just couldnt after Earth. Maybe only until adulthood, they can regrow them.

I don’t necessarily believe SSJ4 needs to be part of the godly transformations in order to be on par with Super Saiyan God and Blue. Simply for the reason characters like Jiren exist. So why couldn’t SSJ4 be on Super Saiyan God and Blue level just as a mortal form?
If SSJ4 gets brought back, I could see it being more of a downscaled form that isn't as strong as god-ki influenced forms.

Give sayajins an ancient connection to an old God of destruction that looked like an ape. Retcon the Ozaru form to be a genetic unlock to that ancient God. Then make super sayajin 4 be a state that unlocks the full God form, a true super sayajin God and let it be the answer to the prophecy.
Maybe they learn it and it’s not as strong as god (normal 4) but they can wield it much longer better ki control and durability and then they learn to mix it with their ultra forms for their peak forms
I don't really care that much about super, couple goodish sort of arcs primarily for nostalgia reasons, but so many issues keep it from even being a decent anime...that said I'd still love to see ssj4 come back (way cooler aesthetically than any of the silly hair color changes brought in by super).
Maybe the Saiyans lose God Forms and needed a new powerful form thus Super Saiyan 4

I hope they don’t remake ssj4 leave the design and color the same way. If they change it then I wouldn’t want it back. That would be corny and leave the name the same. And brown and gold color I don’t like it. If it does change color it should change from red to silver for Goku if Goku turned ssj4 and used MUI stacked on top. And for vegeta his fur turns purple when having Ultra Ego stacked on top
I'd like it if they kept the design the same too, if they ever were to bring it back. I do like the idea of it changing if you stack it with other forms or power-ups though.
It would be really cool if we saw Super Saiyan 4 again in Dragon Ball Super.

I think ss4 can come back by aging when goku and vegeta reach there limit at age 80 are forced to to use ss and ssg do to how the other form rely on a lot of ki to use leaving them to further use ssg and master it since it make them a little bit younger and when they reach a master version of ssg the form changes and more power is added to it and they return to there prime selves allowing them to use ssgss with more power and a new look
Actually, there is a way they can bring back SSJ4 it starts with True UI, Ultra Ego, and Gohan Beast.
Gohan uses dragon balls to awaken his Saiyan spirit giving him his tail back. He sees the full moon and goes great ape. Goes on rampage until he sees Pan. Gains his sanity back and then becomes Super Saiyan 4.
Beast mode is gay.
The only way possible is this: a new saiyan is coming to earth, a really powerful one. And his ssj4 form is even stronger than any other forms/technique ( ui).... it's ME!!! The most powerful warrior ever!!
I would not mind seeing a video of if they remade GT to fit into super's story.

Universe six saiyans biologically have no tail.
That we know of, aspects of their biology could be revealed or retconned, or the way SSJ4 is achieved could be altered to fit their biology.

They need to retcon the ssj / ssj god / lssj lore. If broly is the LSSJ what the hell is goku and vegeta ? Which one actually was the original myth was about ?
The LSSJ lore makes sense for the U6 Saiyans since SSJ1 is common for them
However LSSJ doesn't make sense for the U7 Saiyans since there was only one Super Saiyan before Goku

The universe 6 theory is cool but Universe 6 Saiyans were born without tails because that's how they Evolved .
The form could be altered or the U6 Saiyans could evolve to grow their tails back. Maybe a retcon

Personally I don't want SSJ4 in Super, I rather it stays a GT exclusive. I do want to see Vegeta learn to tap into the Wrath/Ikari form though since he would beable to control that power a lot better than even Broly
Fair opinion, I'd be okay with it being a GT exclusive form too. But I definitely agree that other characters need to tap into the Ikari form, Vegeta especially would be pretty cool to see.

Any SSJ4 should be exclusive of Vegeta, he should reach the pinnacle of Sayan natural raw power, opposed to the learned martial training of Goku.
And this should be logical: Goku is a martial fighter who improves with training, Vegeta is a warrior and a strategist that should improve tapping into his own powers
