- Become a master at 4 different sectors of graphic design, with todays graphic design full course style video that looks at important golden rules of graphic design.
We take a look at visual hierarchy, logo design, package design, and typography in terms of the golden rules that designers need to know in these sectors, to become a master. Yes thus video is a compilation of other videos from Satori Graphics, but as a whole, the course video is useful to refer back to. I thought it would be a great idea to put these into one video for easier viewing.
Becoming a master at graphic design does include learning the rules. Once you have mastered the rules, then you can decide if you need to break those golden rules or not. This is how we become competent and professional graphic designers.
If you found todays video on the golden rules of graphic design enjoyable or useful, let me know in the comments section and drop a like on your way out. Subscribe to stay updated to all of my uploads and until next time, design your future today, peace ✌️

Looking back at some of my older content as seen in this video, it has made me want to continue improving and to tighten up the quality I put out on this channel. I'll be back tomorrow with fresh content so see you agains sooin, SG
Thanks!
SUPERMAN! That's Numéro 1000 of absolute high Quality Content without going to the Meaning of Masses. Instead of that you have chosen the hard but true Way of Success without let forming you like a puppet. You are Passion in Person. I could write more and more. Please give your audience the Secret of that incredible work ethic in the Perspective of Productivity. There are so many people out there, who say they are coaches but you... continue (in relativity) with an own but fluid style of education in a military manner. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
I’ve been a graphic designer for over 20 years and it’s very refreshing to see you actually giving good advice in every single point you made in this video. That is surprisingly rare these days. For example, I can’t tell you how many times I see designers centering all of their text in their designs. It drives me batty!
cheers my man, appreciate the feedback :D
Great compilation Tom decades of work into a 20 minute video with tons of lessons that all experts have learned the hard way through trial error observation inspiration and analyzation.
Honestly, you have officially become my Graphic Design mentor. You don't know how much your videos have helped as a self taught graphic designer. I'm still a novice, but the information I have been getting from these are priceless. Thank you Satori
awesome stuff, keep going 💪
Incredible video! Super helpful, thanks!!☺
Yesterday I watched your old hierarchy vedio now all the things in one vedio😁😁
lol :P
Well done, this is a fantastic resource!
Glad it was helpful :)
You keep giving us gems.. thanks man
My pleasure!
Thank you! Your channel is priceless!!!
Wow, thank you
Woww..
That's a whole lot graphic design syllabus.
Thank you professor.
Please make a video on your journey of Graphic Design.I would love to know your journey
Great great video! thanks for uploading
these video editings you have never fail to amaze me. Btw, I wish that you will fix the focus distance of your lens in your next vid :p
"Wow, this course on graphic design golden rules sounds incredibly valuable! Can't wait to enhance my design skills and explore the principles that make great designs stand out. waiting for the next one!"
important information
Your presentation is incredible. Nice work. Thankyou
Thank you kindly
@@SatoriGraphics welcome
I see you. Everything is clean and mean. You're the prototype designer right now, for real. I'm a beginner, but you got my attention... The audience needs to learn to use the like button...😔
lol thanks a lot buddy
Nice
🏅 TY
Wow nice thumbnail
cheers!
Many thanks for this valuable video and I like the presentation idea. Can you please tell us what application do you use for animation.
Davinci Resolve and After Effects 👍
@@SatoriGraphics Would be very grateful if you could make your videos in the same 🙂.
A question for someone building a board game: Where is the border between a typographical heading and a *logo*? Do you always necessarily need both? Can the logo *be* a typographical header and not a purely graphic mark?
Hi. Great content. I found your channel looking for color theory and graphics design that i could apply to the thumbnails of the youtube videos i create. I hope ill be able to apply some of the concepts you show
I have problems with hyphens when writing in Adobe Illustrator, does anyone have any tips for that?
😮
For Rule #2, how does this fit into some other languages such as Japanese and Chinese, or Arabic? Where languages flow in different directions? Or where the direction of the language can even switch around~
假掰厲害
Rather than golden rules maybe what you mean is "rule of thumb". But "Golden rule" is indeed way more cool phrase 😁
Just wondering how old are you man?
34 👍
How old did you think I am?
@@SatoriGraphics29
@@SatoriGraphics so you started your journey from your 18. Great
spic and span lol.
I like your content but to me the constant change of backgrounds, fonts etc. even your haircut and beardcut 😊 on every single part of the video is kind of disturbing ... I wished for more consistency in the headlines ... Of course just my opinion 👌🏼
It's a compilation video
@@SatoriGraphics thanks for your reply and the good work !
The Starbucks logo bad design? naaaaaah
you obviously didn't watch the video, it isn't the logo
@@merleginsbergofficial Satori is right though since I did sorta skip post thumbnail. Instant Starbucks trigger mode got activated. Welp their coffee isn't that great per se, but the design team at SB is like MJ in BB. Triggered by thumbnails, yup! xD...
you just repost the same clips nothing new from your other videos , you clearly work hard on your graphics but give little effort into something new for your videos .
Nice way to generalise. This video is a compilation repost yes, and the previous time I did this was May 10th. So you're saying 1 video a month is everything I post? Nice logic bro lol
