You used AI on that response. In our area we dont have Lynx. These are bobcats. Either way here they are known to target our turkeys, chickens and fawns. So we help prevent that.

Were you trying to see which call suited you best? Was one the back-up? Trying out the different sound libraries? Which e-caller were you using when you called in the two bobcats and what sound were you using at the time? Thanks.
We always run 2. There are some sounds on Luckyduck and Foxpro that we just like. It started as a backup but there are sounds on each we don't have unless we take both.

I only want to point out to you, that the one and only way to reduce pests is to remove their food source and to remove the environment where they can thrive. Never in human history was it possible to remove a species as long as there was food and an beneficial environment to support them. And every time humans tried to do that, they caused a much bigger problem elsewhere. If you continue interfering with nature, eventually you have to resort to poisons and pesticides and later you have to deal with diseases like bird-flu, then the toxins you use will find their way into the human food... it will only get worse. The number of bobcats will stabilize at a low level eventually, when you focus on protecting your chickens from bobcats while also avoiding mice eating your feed stock. If you have large monocultures in the same area, you need more bobcats and not less. Pests in the fields multiply until they wipe out the entire harvest season. Ecological balance is indeed the best of all the alternatives, even for humans.
I'm not sensitive at all. However, I live in Los Angeles and have only been lucky enough to see two bobcats in my 20 years of hiking. I have no reaction to coyotes getting sniped because they are plentiful. It's a little different seeing an animal I've only seen twice getting killed. You get that, right? I'm not sensitive about it, but I get why some people have a reaction. It's all relative.

Curious. Are you a farmer having a problem loosing livestock ? That can be upsetting. Our state recently have introduced coyotes to our area and many of us are concerned. They are not native to our area.
@West TN Predator Hunting Southern Delaware. We do have a large whitetail population, but the state has increased the hunting days. Bow, muzzle, shotgun and rifle.
I doubt if your state introduced coyotes, an invasive species. It’s more like they just migrated there, much like they have invaded all 100 counties of my home state of NC.

Curious. Are you a farmer having a problem loosing livestock ? That can be upsetting. Our state recently have introduced coyotes to our area and many of us are concerned. They are not native to our area.

@West TN Predator Hunting Southern Delaware. We do have a large whitetail population, but the state has increased the hunting days. Bow, muzzle, shotgun and rifle.
I doubt if your state introduced coyotes, an invasive species. It’s more like they just migrated there, much like they have invaded all 100 counties of my home state of NC.
