Having now seen SRV’s video Close to 1000 times I have to say you are the BEST cover of his original I have seen Sean in almost 40 years! Flawless version here , tone , feel , timing , subtle nuances and EVERYTHING that Stevie put into his original. He’s Smiling ear to ear I’ll bet ya in the Great beyond. Very well done Mann👍👍. The absolute best cover on TH-cam hands down
I got hold of El Macambo around 91’. Only God knows how many times I’ve listened to it. This is the closest anyone has gotten (imo) to capturing SRV. While his mixture of technical abilities and aggressiveness is practically unattainable, you sir have really done justice to his memory. TY
Not everyone can do this and not an easy song to cover. Awesome!
