Breaking Bad follows protagonist Walter White (Bryan Cranston), a chemistry teacher who lives in New Mexico with his wife (Anna Gunn) and teenage son (RJ Mitte) who has cerebral palsy. White is diagnosed with Stage III cancer and given a prognosis of two years left to live. With a new sense of fearlessness based on his medical prognosis, and a desire to secure his family's financial security, White chooses to enter a dangerous world of drugs and crime and ascends to power in the world. The series explores how a fatal diagnosis such as White's releases a typical man from the daily concerns and constraints of normal society and follows his transformation from mild family man to a kingpin of the drug trade.

I'll never understand the hate that Skyler gets for simply being a wife trapped in an unbearable situation.
I’ve watched breaking bad so much that every time Walt lies it’s actually just really funny
Its so sad to think the Anna Gunn actually was hated because her part. Even that her caracter was the right one, and she's amazing actress.
I love how Skylar knows when he's lying (or learns how to tell). He would be convincing to someone less intelligent, but she can see right through him.
Great acting by both in this scene but the look in her eyes is simply outstanding.
Poor Malcom, Reese, Dewey and Lois. They have no idea where Hal went and he was living this double life the whole time

Skyler was so underappreciated on this show. Her acting throughout was fantastic.
Walt: I love you Skyler and I would do anything for you.
Many individuals unjustly despise Skyler for the wrong reasons. The show primarily focuses on the perspective of Walter White, causing viewers to overlook the daily struggles of Skyler's life and the extent of deception and betrayal she has endured from her husband. If the show had dedicated more screen time to portraying Skyler's experiences and the immense heartache caused by Walter's actions, the audience would undoubtedly sympathize with her.

Man the complete disappointment and disgust in Skyler’s eyes when Walt says “methamphetamine” is heartbreaking. Very good acting
He would have saved himself so much headaches if he just told her I can buy you a car wash
One of the great things about Walt's character is how he held onto his newfound ego. He was holding out fine with the lie until Skyler undersold his achievements....then he just had to blab!
