Saul was essentially Walt’s therapist
Saul was the Dr. Melfi to Walter's Tony Soprano.
@@davidcase8635 And david chase didn't give Dr. Melfi her own spinoff like saul goodman.
The “i earned it “ line is everything that was wrong with Walt. His ego was far too big
Very good acting
Had he just been fine with not making it personal, he could have gotten away with everything. But it was far too important to him to make sure everyone knows HE suddenly made millions appear out of nowhere.
His pride too.
He didn't want his family to know about how he made the money but he needed them to realize that it was him who would solve the whole situation, with HIS money, the money HE worked for. He doesn't even realize how contradictory that is.

Wall tour
This was Walter's whole problem.
A truly desperate man would have taken any route possible to keep his family together and have them taken care of.
He was presented with a way out by Saul, but he let his ego take over, and in the end that meant more to him than what his wife and son thought.
3:02 The utter disgust mixed with bitter resignation on Walt's face with Saul rambling in the background about his plan is just a thing of beauty... Absolutely perfect scene!

5:00 Jane sentenced her death lol
If Walt gets busted so does Jessie. She has no leverage.
Honestly when Walt let Jane die was actually the best thing he could’ve done for Jesse. He literally saved Jesse’s life. Otherwise he would’ve been dead within a week with Jane overdosing.
youre delusional
Not true. Walt flipped over Jane which essentially killed her. The would've been in New Zealand. Very hard to find hard drugs there.
i think it is amazing that while i totally agree with your point but you nor anyone can't play God
And Walt bringing Jesse into all of it got Jane killed, as well as her dad and all the people on the airplanes.
A harsh take but a realistic one.

Just like Tommy Vercetti and his mob lawyer Ken Rosenberg in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City.
Yeah, there’s no deep seated issues there

Had Walt listened to his lawyer more, all of them would be rich and had gotten away with everything.
Even jesse if he listen well enough about money laundering and all😂
This is the moment when she sealed her fate
I love that this is how Gus discovers Walter's connection to Hank. It makes sense that Gus would use philanthropy to scope out the local feds-and it paid off by revealing this crucial piece of information.
That Gus fellow - the 🐔 restauranteour - he seems 👍 a 😊 guy. 😊
These banters between Saul & Walt never get old 😂
Gus: terrible 🗿

I was hoping that Better Call Saul would explain who that hacker was.
I expected it to be that film kid.
He either came from Mike (hence the “i know this guy who knows this guy who knows…”), or he came from the small black notebook that the vet had
He just said he was from Belarus though
Jane's fate was sealed the moment she blackmailed Walt. Even if at that point he's still was a sickly chemistry teacher, you don't treat a guy capable of making half a million selling meth.
What does Jane think that would have happened even if she and Jesse went to New Zealand? Gus would have order their deaths because they knew too much about the bussines.
But I guess Jane wasn't a smart person at all. In this game, you dont treat to go to the cops: you rat, and then dissappear. And if you have luck, you will live in fear the rest of your days, praying for not to get shot in the back by Badger and Skinny Pete.
Yes the 2 best hitman will haunt them forever even if they flew to every direction😂

That so stupid. Like she is gonna rat Walt out she has to rat Jesse too. And is more likely people would believe Walt that any of them lol
Yeah theres no deep seating issued there😂 Saul keeps it real
I wonder if Hank ever thought back on Gus donating to Walter’s treatment after finding out
“Zombies walter…. Nazi zombies”
He called him a cancer saint
Is there anything at all that connects these five random scenes other than they were all pulled from season 2 ?
Saul was like Melfi and Silvio to Walter. No wonder he was unstoppable

What a show ,such fantastic acting 😮
Holy Snap! I just Realize that Jessi got Jane Killed!!! Hear me out but imagine calling Gus asking for money and admitting "You know Everything"
Maybe it’s just me but I don’t remember Jane getting killed at all
Are we talking the "Gus spliced Jane's drugs so Gus could keep Walt for the long game" kind of circumstance?
Stretch, but not what I feel.
@@iseeitall5713 Jane Overdosed! Her and Jessie was high , Walt saw them and had a chance to save her when she rolled over on her back
@@TeamShawnX oh I know what happened… and you obviously do as well and my question remains. Walt maybe could’ve saved her but she wasn’t killed
@@iseeitall5713 you're right, but if he didn't see her as a problem, or knew how bad Jessie loved her, he could've saved her. He didn't physically do it himself , but watching someone choke to death without helping is really bad also. Walt also confessed to Jessie later on that "he killed her"

Huh Gus would have already known about Walt’s cancer in the Hank scene if Mike knew telling Saul
Im sure he did already know if Mike had already told him. Gus obviously has to act as if he has absolutely no information about him since he just saw the collection jar in passing and the real revelation was Hank being his brother in law. Its not like he could look at the picture and say to Hank "Ah yes this is the guy supplied me with meth for my operation. He has cancer right?"
Of course they hadnt really thought of any of that when they filmed the scene but recontextualised it still works perfectly fine.
Man my left ear really enjoyed this.

its weird Gus never asked Hank if Walt got lung cancer because he might have been a heavy smoker. I mean everyone asks that "cigrattes?" "no he's a high school chemistry teacher mustve got exposed to all substances" i mean thats normal conversation right?

I think back after watching the series again Walt shoudve gave them the money i feel bad but Jesse and Jane would’ve od and Saul and Walt could’ve kept on
That would be the utilitarian move, but despite how much Walt manipulated Jessie he still cared for him. There's multiple times in the series where Walt puts his life on the line for Jessie for no benefit of his own.
This is the moment when Jesse and Walter go to Waffle House
stay with me here... zombies
if she snitch on him he can snitch on jesse too i think
In that case Jesse probably would have cooperated with the police

The scene between Jesse and Walt in the drug den shows that while Walt Jr is the son of Walter White, Jesse is the son of Heisenburg. He cares about him
