- Former Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan joins Piers Morgan Uncensored just five days after an attempt was made on his life while he was rallying with his political party. The former cricketer survived with gun shot wounds to his legs after a failed assassination attempt which he believes he “should not have survived”.
Imran tells Piers Morgan that he knew an assassination attempt was in the works from the Intelligence Services and opens up about these deadly plans being formulated within a corrupt government. Piers also asks him about the assailants and Imran says he believes one of the shooters is still at large. He also expresses his thanks to the “heroes” who bravely intervened in the assassination attempt - one of whom it cost his life.

Former Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf in an interview admitted that Kashmiris were "trained in Pakistan" as Mujahideen to fight against the Indian Army in Jammu and Kashmir. He also called jihadi terrorists as Pakistan's "heroes". He also said that terrorists Osama bin Laden, Ayman al-Zawahiri, Jalaluddin Haqqani, and others were "Pakistan's heroes".
In an undated interview clip shared by Pakistani politician Farhatullah Babar on Wednesday on Twitter, Pervez Musharraf can be heard saying, "Kashmiris who came to Pakistan received a hero reception here. We used to train them and support them. We considered them as Mujahideen who will fight with the Indian Army. Then, various terrorist organisations like Lashkar-e-Taiba rose in this period. They (jihadi terrorists) were our heroes."
During the interview, Gen (retd) Musharraf also said that terrorist like Osama bin Laden and Jalaluddin Haqqani were "Pakistani heroes".
"In 1979, we had introduced religious militancy in Afghanistan to benefit Pakistan, and to push the Soviets out of the country. We brought Mujahideen from all over the world, we trained them and supplied weapons to them. We trained the Taliban, sent them in. They were our heroes. Haqqani was our hero. Osama bin Laden was our hero. Ayman al-Zawahiri was our hero. Then the global environment changed. The world started viewing things differently. Our heroes were turned into villains."
Gen (retd) Musharraf's revelation is proof that Pakistan, which claims to have no interference in Kashmir, has been training terrorists and giving them a safe haven to fuel terrorism in the region.

also considering the economical condition of Pakistan now, the rule of Imran was actually very good. Petrol is 300 rupee per liter now, Electricity bills, water bills, gas bills, poor people cannot live peacefully anymore in this hellish country made PDM. when he left, petrol was at somewhere around 120 or 130 rupee per liter.
Sure there were price hikes but he would actually turn them down

I met Imran Khan whilst I was visiting Pakistan many years ago. Considering how famous he is, I was surprised as to how polite and humble he was. He took time out to speak to us and have some photos taken. Pakistani people need to back him if u want your country to prosper

Pakistan and india were on the brink of a nuclear war in early 2019 and this man prevented it by sending back the prisoner of war pilot abhinandan. He had foresight to not escalat the matter into a full fledged war and inturn saved future of civilians of both countries. That day was the moment i realized he isnt a politician but a true leader coz real leaders keep the thread of peace intact and think of the future of humanity. IK did a huge favour to all of south asia that day while the media and politicians were pyshing for a war. Pakistan and India are indebted to him.

I am not Pakistani and to be honest don't know much about it but this man should have all the respect in this world and not just respect but he should be helped in any way possible.
