I love this toy so much. My only 2 complain is that transforming the hands is kind of scary, it feel like it's about to break. And another is that it's weird that he couldn't hold his own Matrix. 8.5/10
Thrilling 30 legends optimus prime and roller go great with that trailer. The roller is small enough for you to fit another legends like Buzzworthy Bumblebee and daniel or Titans Returns Brawn
It's almost like that KO Optimal Optimus that SSJAutobot looked at years ago, highly detailed for how small it is. But this Optimus Prime isn't falling to pieces, and I doubt it will anytime soon. Side note: With how many convoy figures you have, You could do an "Into The Spider-Verse" parody, but it's all Optimus Prime. Freedom will forever be the right of all sentient beings.
I did fall into the group of the tabs not working properly out of the box. I did give some heat to the hinge for swapping the wrist to headlight for the cab, that’s for sure. However, the tabs aren’t “collaborating”. If overtime it gets better, all good. Hopefully it does. It’s just a shame that this has to happen. Fun to pose, that is for sure.
For anyone having trouble getting the arms to sit flush on the sides in cab mode: clip off those little tabs on the inside of his forearm/wrist area. The gap will be gone after the tabs are removed.
@@BertTheStormtrooper That's what I thought too, but I guess mine just wouldn't work itself out no matter how many times I tried. Anyway, it works now and the toy is fine even without the tabs. Thanks for giving us a look at this guy!
I had to buy it off Amazon, i couldn't find anything new in all the stores in my area. I still think it's a cool idea, though the completionist in me wants a trailer for him. 😂
That is a pretty decent optimus prime I was actually considering on passing but but since I got my studio series and have no need for the earthrise anymore I think I'm definitely going to go for it to use for my Generations figures. Also, I wanted to find out if you ever got a chance to pick up that star saber and deathesaurus. I would really like to see your opinion on them both
@BertTheStormtrooper I understand unfortunately I didn't realize mine had one as well until I saw that video and the gentlemen speaking mentioned his defect then I started observing mine and found that my metallic design was applied crooked and the edges weren't even
@@mizzikedvalle2172 my small robot has two same side rear stabilizers. One was installed upside down. I flipped it but because it's the wrong side I don't get a straight jet mode and am unable to combine the super jet.
Not everyone can get the Nonnef kids as they're overpriced, take AGES to be delivered and aren't easily available in other countries (such as Japan, even via his official Japanese partner site).
Going by the toy yes the Earthrise trailer is perfect. But to me I'm not a fan. The wheels are too big to meet and it sits to high off the fifth wheel.
He's more than just Missing Link Convoy at home, he's the brother who's just as cool.

I just love the idea of returning to the G1 toy aesthetic and adding articulation of modern figures! It resulted in a fantastic remake.

I have that Volvo optimus prime trailer siting on my shelf waiting for me to find this figure in the wild

Great Video! I love that they made him compatible with the G1 and Earthrise trailers. Like you said though... that Nonnef kit.... nice!

G1 Prime not only had wrist rotation, he also had rocket-punch fists!
@@demusicfan several G1 figures had wrist launchers that worked like Rocket Punch but G1 Prime's did not.

@@BertTheStormtrooper That was a joke. If the detachable fists gave him wrist rotation, they could also be rocket fists.

Once you transform it a few times and work the tabs into place it will sit flush with no issue and without the need to cut tabs.
