So glad we finally got this guy! When they did Kingdom Rodimus, it really felt like Hasbro was testing the waters for Optimus (see how much we'd be willing to pay). Thanks for another great Bert the Stormtrooper production!
When I first opened that box I was a bit nervous to transform it, but I made it through without killing it! I traded the SS Roller with the Nonneff Roller in my trailers. They seemed to scale a bit better that way.
If I find this figure on clearance or at a discount retailer, I may cave and get it. It looks fantastic. I also want to find a G1-esque Megatron to go with it. No matter how many looks Optimus takes on or assumes, The G1 look is hard to outshine, this figure is a shining example of it.
I wouldn't wait to see if he goes on clearance, I don't think Rodimus ever did and I think the same will go for Optimus. I'd get him first chance you get. Thanks for watching!
The issue with the heels was notice by someone who saw it in the transformation instructions. The diagram in step 29 there's an inset image and there you can see how the heels should be oriented.
Not come off negative, but I still prefer Earthrise. Transformation is simple enough to fit G1 prime and it doesn't have the cab folded onto the back. Love the way they did the legs on the commander, but I think the torso should have taken some MP10 inspiration Great review, as always.
@BertTheStormtrooper Some people really didn't like me making the same statement when the figure was coming out, and people were first showing the transformation. And yeah, I enjoy your reviews. They're entertaining. Thanks for the reply.
14:10 "Bert The Stormtrooper is the king of the worst reviews." Me: I resent that! Your reviews are far from terrible. You, Emgo316, Patriot Prime, Baltmatrix, and Peaugh are my top 5 favorite reviewers.
I like to joke at myself when figures "don't cooperate" LOL! If you can't laugh at yourself then you can't laugh at all right? Thanks so much, I appreciate the kind words and you've got me up there with some really good company! Thanks for watching!
You transformed him wrong , you forgot to push in the panels on the back side of the backpack at the waist. And you didn't cover the butterfly joints at the shoulders that allows for forward and back movement, giving prime the ability to cross his arms in front of the chest.
@@BertTheStormtrooper Why don't you just say to joegarza4869 "my bad, thank you for the tips". I was about to post the same remark, just to make your experience even better with that fantastic figure.

This is it. This is THE Optimus Prime. Where do we even go from here? He's almost perfect already!
@@Joe-fi7il agreed. I honestly don't know how they do better than this.
