    Cool trunks on this little forest. Opening up the forest with your pruning really did the forest justice. Really cool!

    They're starting to look good Sam! With a bit of time they will go on to become a nice looking forest or make nice individual trees.

      Thank you, I have no end of field maples so these will stay as is as a experimental group/clump style! Should be an interesting one over time!

    The sound wasn't good so I may have missed something, but aren't they a bit close? Maybe ease them apart on repotting? Lovely trees though.

      Apologies David, I have an absolute glut of field maple material these are an experimental clump/grouping if you like. This is not a serious forest planting with depth and scale for sure. I have a vision for it tho!

    Some lovely looking groupings on the way to stardom Sam. The only issue we allf ace is the constant battle against aphid infestations. All the best :)

      Thanks Xav, yes surprisingly after a plants killing cold winter the aphids persist! Always somthing isn’t there 😅

      Hey Kevin, Yes i Collected these. A garden I look after has an abundance of various sizes saplings they grow like weeds!
