- Soryu serves one of the best bowls of Shoyu Ramen in Tokyo. Japan has many soy sauce-based ramen, but this is my absolute favorite place for it.

Kakashi Shoyu Ramen I love the way how the food is made slightly burnt. With dumplings and roast meat platter all my favorites. Dessert 🍨nice choices great way to end a scrumptious meal. Delicious 😋

I loved this video, there were so many emotions! I even felt the pain of the dumpling that stuck to the plate! Those “cheesecake sandwiches are genius! I love cheesecake, but it’s always served in pieces too big.

I love all of the places you've been...this however looks perfect. I truly love to have a little bit of everything especially if its something new. This meal and desert to me is perfect. As I mentioned before...in October next year a group of us is traveling to Japan...so excited. I also am excited about my first box of Japanese treats that just arrived!!! This is the first of my subscription and it was quick and packaged beautifully. Its like an early Christmas!!! Thank again so very much!!!

Planning on signing up for Frank's tour when boarders open up again. I'm sure if will cover some of the great ramen shops we've been seeing you guys try. And we'll wear our Tabieats shirts which just arrived :D Adding this ramen shop to our list! I was hoping those were ice cream sandwiches but even if they're not, they look great! I learned a few days ago that Ramen became popular after the war, because the Americans exported large amounts of free wheat for several years, and because wheat and meat consumption was encouraged. Today, it's a high class food in Ginza eaten with wine!
This video just makes me happy that after years of waiting and wondering if I should open up my own, we finally have a good ramen place here in my hometown. The only thing that I don't 100% love about it is they use corn so much in their various ramen. But those dumplings looked so unique and tasty at Soryu.
Sadly i have written off 2022 to go to Japan as well thanks to the new variant and what Japan plans to do about it. I want so badly to return to japan and try all the wonderful places you showcase on your channel for myself

Dude if you like spicy ramen and you ever have a chance to go to Kasai(葛西) in Tokyo, it's one station away from Tokyo Disneyland. I would really suggest you to try out a ramen place called からしめん, they have one ramen that is very similar to 油そば , which it's like very few soups. The ramen name is exactly "からしめん".

It’s very common actually as most of the sodium is in the broth.

Is the burnt flavor strong? I don't think I'd like that. I love dumplings and wish we move variety here in Virginia.
