I love getting to see food courts. So many malls here are dying so there are no more food courts. Please be safe, we will be happy to go along with you wherever you go!
Wonderful complex and delicious looking food. The presentation is always beautifully done. I want to visit one day and try all the good foods but for now your videos will have to do.
So jealous of Satoshi! That spicy Ramen looks out of this world good! Can't get good Ramen here in Toronto. One day I will have Ramen in Japan, and I will be a very happy man indeed.
Food courts are always interesting to me because of all the variety, Shinichi. (Everything you film is interesting!) Both of your meals looked delicious. I would have gone for a spicy vegetarian ramen, if one was offered. I do love spicy food but not when it's so spicy I can't taste the flavor of the ingredients themselves. Lol The egg custard tart would've been my dessert of choice.
I have heard of the Ferry that you can take there and one is mostly vending machines?? That sounds cool. I would love to see that. Oh! Thanks to your videos my daughter tried Ramen with seaweed in it and a miso base (I made the broth) but she LOVED it!!! Thank you for helping me expand her food a bit more. :)
My eyes are watering just looking at that bowl of ramen! Satoshi has an iron stomach, I respect that. 😂 The garlic shrimp looks much more my speed. Also the desserts - my favorite was probably the egg tart, just because I fondly recall those from dim sum back in California. I understand about feeling more comfortable in more open spaces, these days. Your well-being comes first, so please don't worry about pushing those limits just for the channel. Besides, the food courts have all been interesting!
I really like your food court visits as it shows alternative places to eat when visiting Tokyo etc and I like that you give information about prices. Thank you for another enjoyable video 😊
Missed Japan very much.. I will eat the prawn's shell too as it is soft shell... Satoshi's noodles looks so yummy and spicy.. love spicy food too.. hopefully Japan open for tourist soon. Stay safe
Your food looks so good it's making my hungry! The shrimp and the ramen looks soooooo good! Wish I could reach into my computer screen and taste the food! hahaha
I have a sensitive tummy and so a lot of the food featured here in on my “No” list. But thanks to TH-cam and fellows like this who have iron stomachs, I can still at least live vicariously through others when watching 😂 that egg tart looked yummy, it reminds me of my mum’s pumpkin custard which she makes with real pumpkin every fall here in the US.
Cheers from Warsaw, Poland. I lived in a flat next to this shopping center back in 2018. My uncle lived there and we visited him for about two weeks. Thank You for bringing back some memories.
You would like to visit Portugal! The egg custard is a tradicional sweet from here called "pastel de nata", and we have a cake similar to the castela, called "pão de ló".
Pastel de nata made it in UK. On trip to Macau there were food stall selling them. So delicious not too sweet with lots of filling. HK egg tarts are made fresh and don't have black spots. Food is definitely one reason to go travelling.
really enjoying these food court videos, its interesting to see whats on sale in different areas! I would be happy to see more of these videos, also enjoy the food vending machine videos a lot!
When I lived in Japan I was told that the "stand-up noodle stores were only for men. Are they still popular? Were they ever for a woman to frequent? I never did but I'm curious on what you have to say about them. Could that be an idea for a video? A tour of stand-up noodle stores on a series of train stations...... Your channel is fantastic, by the way. Thank you.
who told you that? there’s no such thing as ‘men-only’ noodle bars, though I have to admit it’s a bit hesitant to enter because most of customers are men. but I do go to standing noodle places in Tokyo occasionally even I’m a woman :)
The maritozzo reminds me of a Swedish semla! It's a very fluffy cardamom bun filled with whipped cream, almond paste and dusted with powdered sugar. I wish you guys could try one!
There's a local Japanese store here where I live in Australia and they have the Karaka ramen and it's my favourite. I order it at least once a fortnight, if not weekly. Fave dessert that you showed would be that Castillo one. Thanks for great videos!
Those are "Daahn Taat" (Chinese style egg custard tarts) which were derived from the Portuguese Pastel de nata and the English custard tarts. Those influences were brought to China through trade routes in the early 20th century.
There àre several of you who travel and eat in Japan I enjoy the way all of you present your travels As a Westerner I hope to go to Japan and I would not like to be a rude visitor I am waiting for covid to run it's course in the mean time you help me plan the places I would like to see the way that would be interesting to travel and the foods I would like to try thank you
I like spicy food but it doesn't always like me. And I've never gotten use to eating shrimp with shells. Thar mango pancake looks yummy, like dessert! Your choices look great too.
We don't mind where as long as u take us with u, Shinichi-san! Both dishes look amazing! I can't handle too spicy but I love spicy food. I love your t-shirt! We love Pokémon and Pikachu here in Brazil as well! Please stay safe. Love u 💕
That ramen looked delicious, but WAY too much crushed red pepper for my taste buds (I'd have to order the MUCH MILDER version)... The shrimp also looked good. [Oh, and my favorite desert was the sponge cake with whipped cream]
I used to love spicy food but as I got older I can no longer tolerate spicy and I miss it, now I can’t even eat my favorite Hot and Sour soup😭or Mongolian Beef😥 I envy you that you can eat anything you ❤️. I would love to visit this mall. Thank you for your videos 👍🏻👵🏻🇺🇸
Health and safety comes first in these crazy times, so if food courts are your safest options then that’s fine. Don’t risk your health over making TH-cam content! Japanese food courts do look amazing though! Such variety and the plating is more like fine dining than what many of us would associate with a food court. Japan always pays so much attention to detail in so many fields, including with food regardless of its price range. I’ve even seen really pretty sandwiches and burgers from Japanese 7 Eleven or McDonald’s in some TH-cam videos, here in Sweden in comparison, a convenience store sandwich or McDonald’s burger looks more like someone may have sat on it O.o
I love spicy foods. My favorite is Popeye's fried chicken. Especially the spicy variety. Do you have that in Japan? It is simply the best fried chicken ever.
As a dane I am always amused when I see American styled Malls with a single area dedicated to Food shops.. Since here in Denmark our big malls don't have an area for just food server but the food places are spread through out the mall :P
The Karakara you Ramen soup 🍜 yum Satoshi great choice. Check out the size of those shrimps 🍤 what a tease very nice choice Shinichi. Save me some please 🧡yah 😘👍
Never have I been so jealous at someone eating ramen. That looked absolutely amazing! Love spicy food.

I love Japan for such chill atmosphere and of course delicious food. Thanks for your video!

So happy to hear that!!!
If you check the Solo Travel Japan channel, the man who does that has made a couple of videos about that ferry so you'll get more details.

Hello from Tokyo Japan ❤️😊
Everyone be happy and stay healthy 🥰
You would like to visit Portugal! The egg custard is a tradicional sweet from here called "pastel de nata", and we have a cake similar to the castela, called "pão de ló".
The Portuguese taught the Asians how to make those, right?
Pastel de nata made it in UK. On trip to Macau there were food stall selling them. So delicious not too sweet with lots of filling. HK egg tarts are made fresh and don't have black spots. Food is definitely one reason to go travelling.

It looks great. I'd have heartburn for days after but it might be worth it.
Yummy ramen

Wow! I want to eat all of this now!
Man, my mouth was salivating looking at the Ramen dish. Not sure if I can handle something that spicy though, your friend has a iron tongue.
th-cam.com/video/Um3sIZPLrDw/w-d-xo.html
when there’s a spicy option for whatever i’m eating, i will always pick the spicy option.
The fact that that shrimp dish costs the same as a Big Mac Meal in my country astounds me, I know which one I'd rather have!
“Maybe he should mix it more…” exactly what I thought too after you said to mix it 😆 looks delicious!
I need to try the Karakara Uo ramen - it looks delicious!
I drooled at the spicy udon. I love spicy food. I'm sooo jealous!
The shrimp and the ramen both look delicious. I like medium-spicy food, but this bowl of ramen looked WAY too spicy for me. Thanks for sharing.
American Food Courts have frozen and thawed cheesesteak subs, fried chicken and Panda Express - this stuff looks so much better. Thanks for sharing.
I like spicy food but it doesn't always like me. And I've never gotten use to eating shrimp with shells. Thar mango pancake looks yummy, like dessert! Your choices look great too.

the castella looked very soft and moist 🤤
I've spent the last 2 hours perusing Bokksu and trying not to spend too much money. Had to take a break and watch your video.😁
Thanks :)
Now, I’m hungry. That ramen looks very spicy
Everything looks yummy. The two Pikachu’s looked like they were ready to battle.
Satoshi and his white Tshirt lol Living dangerously!
I really haven't tried those Ramen meals myself yet but I will try to find a restaurant that serves those Tasty looking meals soon!😉☮️
I love spicy food, it’s nice to see it actually exists in Japan. Or I guess I’m just assuming it’s actually spicy because of the color.
It’s been a while since I visited Hikarigaoka, and I didn’t know that huge food court opened in IMA. Definitely try 辛辛魚 next time!
I am even jealous of the steamed rice, looks like it is glistening
I always shop there. it's not that far from where I usually stay. and I love the park.

The egg tart was my favorite. 😋
😂 Macaroni, potatoes and rice - TRIPLE CARBS!! Looks amazing.

I really love spicy food, cause I'm a good mexican guy lol, looked delicious :)
