This is a real „win-win-win“ situation: you support the shop owners, spoil us with amazing insights into beautiful locations while you get to eat the most yummy looking food ever - I am totally delighted 💕
This breaks my heart to see so many amazing shops so empty. As much as I loved visiting the market itself, it was the surrounding streets and alleys and the stores there that made the visit special. May they never fade
True. I hoped street food vendors and other small businesses (not just here, but around the world) survived this pandemy. They're the heart and soul of a place, but also the one who are hit the hardest cause they can't shift into online or delivery like bigger restaurants.
That tuna steak had my mouth watering! It looks so juicy and delicious! Thank you for these videos. I sadly will never have the chance to visit Japan but these videos make me feel like I’m there
I love going with you on these walks, Shinichi. What a beautiful day! And what a perfect way to have treats--enjoying them and working them off at the same time. Lol. Thanks to you and Satoshi for supporting small businesses in this challenging time. ❤️❤️ Hugs and snuggles for Justin. ❤️
Wow! That Tencho Don was plated beautifully. So colorful! I do not eat seafood, but I can always appreciate a great work of art like that. I am happy to hear that you enjoyed it. I hope these businesses continue to stay open. Thank you for going to support them! Lots of good food! Thank you for taking us around!!
A guided food tour by an expert local. Nothing quite like it. There's so much I missed on my first trip to Tsukiji. Will rectify the next time. Arigato gozaimasu!
Great, soothing, relaxing video. Love all the street/restaurant sounds. Everything looked delicious, and that terrace seemed very peaceful. Love the shrine!! Thank you. :)
Thank you for your video!! Now I know where and what to eat on my next trip to Japan...in 5 yrs maybe? Hope the pandemic end quickly so all of us can travel again! Stay safe!
Thank you for supporting the shops, it's very sad to see so many places of Tokyo without people that used to be bursting with people. May this pandemic be over soon. Thank you for the always very enjoyable videos. 🙏🙏
It's nice to see that even with a lot of empty shops, Japan knows how to fight and make public places safe for people. Here in Brazil I haven't gone out since march 2020... I love your videos, this is the way I travel nowadays. Thank you so much for them! Good vibes for you!
Good to support your local businesses. Especially with the current crisis. Food looks so fresh and delicious it’s a shame I can’t pull it out of my 📺 and taste it myself.Nice panoramic location you have to enjoy these wonderful snacks. 😀🙏👍
I love you Shinichi💖. Whether I like the various street foods you share with us or not, I always enjoy watching as you share your adventures with us. Bless you my friend🙏. Please say hi to Satoshi and the lovely Ai for me😊.
I was there in Dec 2019 and loved every moment of it. It was so busy, shoulder to shoulder at the market. Sad to see it like that now, but, at the same time, locals need to appreciate us foreigners more especially after the Pandemics. One day ill go back, might stay permanent, who knows!!!
I miss the seafood in Tokyo so much! the fish cakes I definitely want to try. I think Saya would love this area if she could snack all day; she really is a little fish eater hahaha I just realized that in all the years coming to Tokyo I never really been to tsukiji. Olye one time I think 18 years ago.
Beautiful weather for such an interesting food /location tour😍 Loved seeing the roof terrace. Will definitely find my way there to eat all the delicious food I will buy. 🥰 Really looking forward to visiting and thankyou for showing me the best places to go😘 ありがとうございました😊
I do hope that Japan opens up to vaccinated travelers by the end of the year without a quarantine, I would love to take my family back to Tokyo for Christmas, I need to find all of those treats in Tsukiji market. especially that sandwich shop. The last time we were there is was so crowded, and we decided to go down one little street a second time and were surprised to find a classmate of my son from here in Arizona who had stopped off with his family in Tokyo before going to Vietnam What a stroke of luck to see someone in a busy place, and actually be on the same street at the same time. It can be a small world sometimes
I really like your style of presenting. You draw all of the attention to the amazing food and not on yourself and that makes the videos so nice to watch. May I make a tiny suggestion? Please place a map link of the places you visit in each video. Maybe in the description so viewers can click on the link and it will take them to that place in Google maps. Only a friendly suggestion 😊 please keep up with the great videos!
Well as always you add more things for me to go see or get while on my trip to Japan! You always make my day with your videos. I had been having a great birthday but this literally is icing on the cake. Look forward to your next video!
Seeing the scallop in your bowl (are they raw?) reminds me of the restaurant you and Satoshi went to that specializes in scallops. I hope they are doing ok. Those fish and corn cakes look great! I wonder if I could figure out a way to make them?
This " global issue" has changed everything. We will have to figure out a way to support these businesses that depend on a lively foot traffic in these areas. I know that the restaurant business in Toronto has been driven to it's knees. Smart owners have figured out a way to go more for take out/ delivery, or to create outdoor spaces to serve small groups. But so many go out of business because they can't make rent or payroll. I hope that these videos will encourage the people of Japan to go out and visit these food shops. Carefully.
I hope to be in Japan no later than March 2022, in time to see the Gundam in Yokohama. I love seafood, so I have a whole list of places to hit. Is it just me, or does the strawberry daifuku look like a mouth eating a strawberry?
The food looks so good, but I find the stalls without translations pretty intimidating. What’s the best way to approach the stalls and find out what you want when you struggle with the language?
I like your presentation style. No loud annoying music or unnecessary non stop talking. Very focused on the stuff that matters. 10/10!
unlike mikey chen... i like this channel
definitely yes - thank you for no music.
Wdym......Mike Chen is good
@@chezstik4855 mikey chen too much talking nonsense.. and god i hate when he downtalk vegetables and other nonbeef stuff
it triggers me ngl
He does?

Like that all over the world especially here in America
That person with the bunny at the shrine was just such a cute little ending
I saw that too, so cute
I missed that the first time, so glad you mentioned it so I could go back and see that cuteness! 🐰
Rumor has it, that was her dinner.
kawaiiii
probably its dying or sick...
15:35 Can we talk about the lady who brought her bunny to the shrine! So cute, so wholesome.
I love your videos so much. Only problem is that I get very hungry watching them. Japan is such a beautiful country. Thank you for sharing with us.
0:34 - 0:48 That is nice of you to support the shops there in these hard times/
10:46 Thank you for letting us know about a nice place to sit and eat👍
Thank you for being a tourist on our behalf!

"I Will Always Travel for Food" is an instant like. Cheers from Argentina!
Seriously!! Every food you’re showing so close up, I open my mouth to get a bite. Like a little puppy
LOL. I could only imagine Justin sitting there waiting for a bite too!
@@sarjim4381 I have 3 dogs myself! Imagine all 4 of them and me sitting there watching ShinichI eating. Oh dear 😊

Pray that most shops will see through this difficult period....one of my favourite markets ever

All your choices looked very yummy. Especially that seafood bowl. Some of the prices were a tad steep, especially for one macaroon.
とても美味しそうです!築地か三浦半島で海鮮丼を食べたくなりました😋
Last time I was here was right before the moved the auction. Ate a ton of food including some of the same stuff in the video. So good!
Why everything looks so delicious and stunning in Japan? It amazes me! Thanks for the incredible video, Shinichi-san! Take care ❤️

I like the choice of words, to not use the word "chewy" which has a negative meaning for some people.
