I remember having the katsu sando on my previous trip and it was really good! I think convenience stores in Japan are really God sent if you are travelling on a budget. Btw the pudding has this little tab at the bottom that you can break to release the air so that the pudding can fall nicely no need for slamming 😂😂😂
The food was really amazing for how much they are! Some definitely better than the others, but most of them were really impressive. Also, that's a really cool design for the pudding that I didn't know about!
Another fun vid! Pro tip: Put the wasabi directly on the soba, along one of the noodles in the bunch that you grab. It will have a much stronger taste than when diluted in the broth. Also, when I was way younger, Ozeki One Cup sake was super popular because it was not only inexpensive, but came with a plastic reusable lid so that you could store any leftover sake or any other beverage when you took it to a picnic. All poor families' glassware consisted mainly of One Cup glasses with their labels removed, haha.
For the pudding, you can break the little stick sticking out at the bottom to let the air in so the pudding comes out easily 😊 It's called pucchin pudding because "pucchin" describes the sound when you break the stick lol
there is usually a pointy thing at the bottom of the pudding packaging that you can break, that allows air in, which allows the pudding to slip out easily without effort or banging.
Lawson was headquartered in my hometown of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. We had Lawsons in every neighborhood and their plant baked bread every week & provided dairy products. Lawson's French Onion Dip for potato chips is still Ohio famous and our replacement stores still sell it.
I'm surprised that a lot of commentors here pointed out some things even a foodie like myself knows. You have a food educated community here - one I admire and wish I have. Very glad for your detailed evaluation and love watching and learning more.
Such a huge amount of calories these, I lost count when all the tonkatsu came to the table😂. I’m waiting to see some video about your workout routine or something similar. I’m from South America and I love these kind of convenience store and all the street markets content. Keep going uncle Jimmy. We all love your content. Love from Peru again❤️
hahaha the best part of this video was when you told the lady you only needed 1x chopsticks! The assumption that it was for your family or significant other lol! Clearly She is not a subscriber! Keep up the great Jimmy! We love you! You're our channel inspiration!
Great stuff Jimmy. 7/11 is much better in my opinion. The Ohayo brand pudding is velvety and delicious . Not too sweet as well. I was hoping you tried their famiily chicki in the whole form (spicy of course) and their Hokaido rolls are amazing.
Jimmy thank you so much for your entertaining content. I really love ur personality and i really relate to you as a formerly morbidly obese person myself. I cant but keep cheering you on ❤
Every time I see lawson chicken and the sake in that bottle i think of chris from abroad in japan lmfao. All the food looks so yummy jimmy! I think the water in the soba was supposed to go to the noodless rather than the sauce lol
Love your vids...the jokes in between are hilarious and more if you say them with straight face......eating the pudding with the pinky like that.....lol
For Japanese プリン, u need to flip the cup over n take off the little tiny stick to release it to put air into it. BTW, One Cup sake is the cheapest sake u can buy n give the worst hangover
Been watching lately, expanding my food and travel vicariously. 1 critique... Practice NOT looking off to the side of camera. When you DO look at something besides your food or people, look into the camera at US. Gj so far. Will keep watching!
It just looks like you're looking at the side flip screen to make sure you're still in focus and centered. Trust that you ARE, and then just let it go lol.
I found that only drug stores sell drugs (medicine) but conbini don't necessarily sell drugs. I found out the hard way in Shinjuku a couple years ago. It is a bit difficult to navigate Japan knowing only a couple words.
That cream is so popular all over east asia and i personally dont like it... whenever I am in asia when I get something with filling I always choose red bean
the water in the soba was supposed to be added to the soba noodles itself, not into the cup, its to stop the noodles from sticking and rehydrate them
😂 That makes sense. I would have made the same mistake too😘
no wonder it tasted like paper
@@jimmykimtvYou better try the Japanese convenience store pasta. They're bomb!
@YosuaNangin very poor choice of words
@@YosuaNanginlike the atomic bomb type of bomb??
Enough food for a small family or one big American person 😂🤣
Had me rolling Bro good one!! 👍
That employee thought that food was for 3to 4 people 😂😂😂

But why "pro" tip?
Ozeki One Cup sake was really good! I thought it might be one of those off brand sojus in Korea that no one buys haha
@@jimmykimtv So happy you enjoyed it. Good bang for the buck, just not my favorite brand 😅

Japan has the most premium convenience store food. I love it so much! You tried many good dishes 😍💖
When the cashier tried to give him a family's worth of chopsticks
Natural comedy at its best

Jimmy, just moved to Korea and I've been loving the Costco food court. You should do a video on it! Bulgogi pizza 🤤

I just visted Japan last week and this video definitely made me miss Japan more. Great video as always Uncle Jimmy!
the amount of food he consumed is crazy :D
Ay new Papa Jimmy video. Guess I won't be bored this evening after all.
Jimmy never fails to fill me up 😋
🤨🤨🤨📸
Ayoooo😂
A simple sandwich at the convenience stores where I am are about $7, so I'd say all of this was very worth it.
Jimmy is a top tier doctor and sets the standard by sniffing things to give a diagnosis
Hey Jimmy love your videos! For the cold soba the water is to actually seperate the noodles hence the bland the flavour 😂
Oh now I'm upset that I ruined it! 👿
I really liked how the shop assistant thought you need more chopsticks
hahaha the best part of this video was when you told the lady you only needed 1x chopsticks! The assumption that it was for your family or significant other lol! Clearly She is not a subscriber! Keep up the great Jimmy! We love you! You're our channel inspiration!

I was drooling over that yakisoba! Which hotel is it? The lounge looks so posh!
It was a random budget hotel i found haha
can we just take a moment to appreciate how talented jimmy is, i love watching his videos ^^
You have to eat Katsudon with sauce XD
Yess I love Ikura too, you have good taste Jimmy XD
Jimmy thank you so much for your entertaining content. I really love ur personality and i really relate to you as a formerly morbidly obese person myself. I cant but keep cheering you on ❤
7Eleven, Lawson, Family Mart all owned by Japanese company if anyone wondering.
Just came to japan today for the first time and was schocked by the food options at convinece stores. America could never.
From london: and you really made me laugh with your quips and one liners…😂😂😂
It all looks tasty! Lawsons has so much goodies! Glad you enjoyed the food Jimmy
I like sando teriyaki chicken mix with egg salad, with green tea. And the umeshu cup😊
That was a great convenience store video man! Can't wait for another one.
Lawson has always been my favourite! The ones with the bigger bakery section have even more premium options but are somewhat rare unfortunately
Every time I see lawson chicken and the sake in that bottle i think of chris from abroad in japan lmfao. All the food looks so yummy jimmy! I think the water in the soba was supposed to go to the noodless rather than the sauce lol
$25 for all of that is crazy, imagine what your paycheck could get in Japan.
Of all the conbini foods - onigiri is the one snack i can't live without. Next would be Nikuman or Pizaman
Love your vids...the jokes in between are hilarious and more if you say them with straight face......eating the pudding with the pinky like that.....lol
great video cant wait to try all these when i'm on Holiday

I looked away for 5 secs and Jimmy was in a tub when I looked back. JUMPSCARE LMAOOOO
お箸一つで大丈夫ですって言ったところ爆笑した🤣wwwww
Thank you for sharing the interesting video!
NGL, Japanese pasta is another unique Japanese experience. Its really good!
Great thorough video sans always appreciate your honest feedback. That shower tub clip would've been more hilarious with you wearing a shower cap! 🚿 😂
I make this tempura mushrooms in spicy coconut milk UNBELIEVABLE 😊
Dude: Just give me one (chopsticks)
Clerk: Pig
Wooow what a amazing energy you have❤❤❤❤❤❤
Lesko !! I love watching your convenient store vids
The pudding has a small plastic thing on the bottom that you break to release the vacuum suction of the pudding.
IDK, but by watching your vid makes me calm
the pudding at the end looks like a creme caramel
I miss Japanese delicacies can't wait to go there again
Jimmy eating the cream puff reminds me of Mash Burnhead from Mashle xD
the yakisoba actually looked so good lol
You’re in Japan and so is rockstar eater. You should do a duo. Maybe you can do one with a Raina soon as well.🎉

Damn I love a good egg salad!
Wow that's a great price for all that.
Can you do a Korean convenience store again. For must trys for us traveller. Including alcohol.
Big please 🙏
I love him, he’s so funny and cute 😂❤
The prices were very reasonable. The quality of the food looked pretty good even though it came from a convience store.

I wish I could go too
Lawson is pretty nice, but i felt like the food at 7Eleven was always at a different level! Would be cool if you would try that as well :D
"Enough for a small family or one American person"😅😅😅
U make me so hungry 😩
take a shot everytime Jimmy said "it's pretty fresh"
Jimmy never fall to light my face
Convenience Store review with no Sunjin in it is not the same 😄
At 1:54 how is that food not spoiling without refrigeration?
That's so much good food 😮 I hope you can eat all of it
EGG SANDO WITH FRIED CHICKEN IN BETWEEN BEST THING EVER
you have to break the spiky thing under the pudding not smacking the shit out of it🤣
You can always tell how much they're judging you by how many chopsticks they give you 😂
Team egg and tuna sandwich’s 👇
Jimmy my man, that packet of water is for the soba noodles to hydrate and loosen them up.
I see. Even amazing people make mistakes
That cream is so popular all over east asia and i personally dont like it... whenever I am in asia when I get something with filling I always choose red bean
That's not pudding.Thats flan LoL 😂
Brings me back to Yakuza 0
Convenience Store are life saving, In Pakistan these type of stores are not easily findable!

Nice place to eat wheres that at again?!
Yeah I would not have the confidence to ask for only one set of chopsticks😅I'll happily let him think that was for 5 people
jimmy ate my 3 days worth of food all at once.😁😁😁
Uncle Jimmy, that all looked so delish 😊 I guess you are doing a lot of sports to eat such a lot of food in one time?
I miss Lawson in Manila..my goodness!!
13:36 damn the creampuff they sell at hk 7eleven is actually nothing compared to this 😭
I’m hungry for Japanese food now
I just think of the anime Mashle when I see cream puffs now lol
Lawson has the best cold soba noodles.
Did you put enough water into it????
Definitely dont knock the pasta, it is not your typical american or italian pasta but japanese version!! Give it a try the next time you are in japan!
Would like a Korea Costco video and food court one day please 😂
looks good
