2011 Accord Sedan Door Removal & Installation

This is a short video documenting my little journey in removing a door and reinstalling it. I suggest not doing it alone as I did, not impossible, but would of been easier with a 2nd person.
This is an 8th Generation Accord '08-'12 .

My daughter parked across from my driveway, and a backed my truck in to her front door.
Oops.
$500 I got a complete door, same color. I’ll try what I’ve learned here. Blue tape all over the fender and door of course.

gab usually happens if the all the bolts aren't matching the depth. I know this is old video but even your house door will do this, if all the screws aren't aligned.

I am about to do the driver's side door. I got a junk yard door and someone was nice enough to cut the wires 🥴 so I am dissecting the JY door so I don't mess up the good wires

Does this work for a 06 Honda Accord? And is there a difference with the rear doors?

When u replace a door do u have to transfer everything from the old door to the new one I have to replace my driver side and don’t know if I gotta take the door lock and put it on the new one

Only if your new door doesn't have those things already on them

@@mrmayhemftw6512 probably are, I just always used the remote to lock and unlock the doors. I guess if you want the same key to work for the doors then yeah, you'd have to swap that out.

@@hwrida you have to change just the lock cylinder bro if you go to the dealer they will rape your wallet buy one off amazon it comes with a key
