    I especially like the areas where you pulled back the black. All in all, love this, and I'm going to use it as a springboard to collage and paint today. Thank you so much for posting this demonstration.

    Not sure if I like the thick black on top as it hides the pretty colors & papers underneath . The wetted down black is lovely though . Thank you for presenting this to us !

    I end up with 3 or 4 sketchbooks on the go, as you have to wait for things to dry...useful for just experimenting, trying out colour schemes and techniques. Love your videos, thanks for sharing.

    Dear Judy, I love your work, and I am really and surprise about your collage. I am 63 years old from the canary Islands; when I was 10 years old I did almost what you do or show on this video but no one did appreciate it, so I just gave up.
    Now I can restart once more due your work thousands thanks to you.❤

    Enjoyed that. (Here on a break from the JD/AH trial!) I would cut up the pieces into small squares and randomly place them into a frame.👍🏿

    Also if your paint is dry and you still want to reveal underlayers, you can use alcohol.

    Beautiful!! Love the textures and how it’s all done with minimal effort! Wondering what was the type/brand of black pencil used in the linework? Been searching for one that doesn’t activate with wet media. Thanks for sharing! 😍

    Thanks for your video Judy. I love your layers. I find difficulty in understanding saturated v desaturated colours. Can you help with your version of explaining it please as I know you teach so well? Thank you

    • @judywoodsart
      @judywoodsart  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Saturated colours are bright and the more saturated they are the closer they are to a primary. the more a colour is mixed the more subtle and nuanced it will become - therefore desaturating it, as you're taking it further away from a primary. Hope that helps.

      Hi Donna. That is a silicon shaper available from most art suppliers. There is another type called a Catalyst wedge which does the same thing. Hope this helps, Rae
