Seems like there are a lot of people asking about hyenas. It's important to note that even though they may look like canines, they're actually in a completely different taxonomic classification and are much more closely related to cats than they are to dogs. If you're still reading, a more in depth answer would be that most carnivorous mammals are part of the order Carnivora. This order is divided into Caniforms (dog-like creatures) and Feliforms(cat-like creatures). Bears, seals, raccoons, badgers, ferrets, dogs, and a few others are Caniforms. Hyenas, cats, mongooses, meerkats, civets, and a few others are Feliforms. This might seem arbitrary but it tells the story of how they evolved, so I think it was important to not include the Hyena in this list.

Doesnt work on cats. Theres an article on 2 guys that were hiking. A mountain lion was spotted. The 2 men ran. One tripped and the cat got him. according to wikipedia "Most species of social spiders live in the tropical regions of the world where insect size and density is highest but several species reach into the eastern United States and other temperate areas."
The scary thing is that social spiders are actually far more organized than Tierzoo describes, with genuine cooperation on a large scale. And some of them operate in packs numbering in the tens of thousands.
What about the Coywolf? They are a Coyote Wolf hybrid. They are becoming rather prevalent on the eastern coast of Canada and are starting to make some real movement inland.

The fox players in modern day are theifing chickens from farmers, but this business is risky and many have been killed in fox culls/hunts. Jesus it took me forever to wright this.
The best of them are pretty crafty, and at times have even avoided S-Tiers like humans and tracking hounds, but their relatively short lifespan in addition to their high-seceptability to juvenile death and rabies makes them more prey than predator. Fun Fact: Coyotes, Foxes, and Wolves in the northern servers invest minor points into tail length, because a longer tail allows them to protect the exposed paws and snouts from frostbite when sleeping.
The fox build's biggest bonus by far is the ability to adapt to a wide variety of servers & sub-servers. Their diet (as you already mentioned in the vid) is adaptable, but also their ability to survive & thrive in environments a lot of other builds find dangerous or even deadly. There's also another factor which comes into play & you NEED to do a vid on it!!!

Everyone forgets that tier lists are originally a Japanese system that gained western popularity through various games both on the home console and arcade markets and some white American kid raised on Netflix, Snapchat, Spotify and Steam certainly isn't the fuckin' source lol
Small correction: most wolf packs aren't actually that big, they are commonly about 6 individuals - two parents and 4 pups. Parents and pups will not hunt together. The pups leave the pack when they reach adulthood and go out to start their own packs. They have to learn hunting all by themselves, because the parents will not really show them. The kind of wolf packs in this video are mostly found on the American Continent and Siberia. The 'normal' wolf family doesn't work in those areas, because prey is too big or lives in big herds. Or sometimes there isn't enough free territory in an area and the young adult wolves come back to their parents and stay with them. This way the packs can get a lot bigger with multiple generations of offspring. The leaders of that pack will still be the parents. There are also instances where big packs like that cooperate with each other. Wolves also don't really have a pecking order. The parents - and in bigger packs also older offspring - will make sure that the youngest pups get their share, but besides that it's more a question of which wolf is the hungriest. A hungry wolf will sucessfully defend its place even against older (higher ranking) wolves.
I know you won’t get this message, but a couple facts about the coyote that could be super important to their score. 1. A pack of coyotes is called a “band” 2. Coyotes DO have a pecking order, and at the top is usually a breeding pair. The band consists of most of their offspring. 3. When coyotes endure a lot of “game overs” in their Alpha (or breeding pair if you will) will come into estrous faster and produce more pups with each birth. 4. Coyotes earn XP in all lower 48 states as well as Alaska. Hawaii is the lone state sans coyotes.
its like shooting your own teamate to protect your base. sure it makes sense on paper but its pretty messed up. bison players charge attack and aggression are a bread and butter combo for a reason. its safe even it whiffs, but its huge hitbox means plagers on your team can be harmed too.
It’s been a while since I laughed as hard as when I seen that. I know, it’s messed up, but still I can’t stop watching, kinda like watching a car wreck from a mile away.
@@Danthast That would be really cool - but yeah, not possible. For one thing, I don’t even think we have physical devices capable of playing a game of that magnitude. But what might be possible is to do different time periods as entirely independent games. If they were to break it up that way - where the base game is a prehistoric time period like the Triassic - then you could add expansion packs to get more creature diversity and subsequent games can give you new time periods to try.
I find that running a golden retriever with the Domestication tree the best choice in the current meta. Emphasis on picking up the final good boy perk. Aximil Oh nah, there's a good reason why you don't cite the wikipedia page itself in formal papers: it's not a static source, so that thing you quoted or paraphrased one day might not be there the next day if the page is rearranged/reformatted. That in no way means the information on the page is incorrect like a lot of people seem to think, it just means it's not good for referencing if you want to make sure your references actually lead back to something. Like HidingAllAway said though, just use the sources that the wikipedia page cites
When you are citing anything from Wikipedia you are supposed to go to the "history" first and then click the current version and use a link to *that*. It will never change its contents (though when available it will alert people that there's a newer version of the article).

And make sure he NEVER lives it down. May it be eternally etched in history as the day an idiot was absolutely destroyed by the internet
Duchy of Mecklenburg-Schwerin He started acting all pretentious after claiming Foxes are 'Lupine' and aren't a part of any 'Canine' group, and TierZoo corrected and roasted him at the same time. You can probably find his comment somewhere here, I think it might even be pinned
Duchy of Mecklenburg-Schwerin Just scroll up friend, it’s easy to find. The other comments are hilarious as well.

I agree, maybe not as the whole content of a class, but it would be a great introduction/complement to it. It would certainly work wonders to keep the students entertained and interested in the subject.
Coyotes with their fast reproduction ability are seriously underrated
Even if you make this argument coyotes still fall short compared to foxes which are the most wide spread wild animal in the world
coyotes can, and do, kill adult humans. foxes dont.
Their compensation breeding AND adaptability. Humans want to wipe them out but can't despite kind of unintentionally causing a mass extinction. Coyotes are unstoppable
OMG did that Bison just trip it's homey to give himself an edge?? What a human thing to do...^.^
Doesnt work on cats. Theres an article on 2 guys that were hiking. A mountain lion was spotted. The 2 men ran. One tripped and the cat got him. The other guy stopped to look back then proceeded to run. The cats' chase instinct kicked in, he abondend his prey and caught the man that was running. The guy that fell originally was able to escape and bring a team to retrieve the other guy who was killed.
The Bison , probably the leader sacrificed a weaker member of the group , so the rest would be left alone and could run .
He didn't do it for himself , but for everyone.
Nah, that's a kill-steal if I ever saw one.

Amazing, I didn't know the five steps of canine hunting strategy.
I need to teach that to my party.
Joseph Fox
Fun fact; most dog behaviours when hunting or herding are based on some of those steps.
Says the fox.
Joseph Fox Grizzly would be S since they're top tier predator in the forest, Polar Bear would be A since they're good predator, but there's little food for them in the Arctic meta
Meme Of Spider-Man grizzlies still have to go against wolf packs. while they usually dominate over kills a wolf pack would be very dangerous if the Cubs are involved.
FatJames179 Wait what DOES the fox say?
I will excuse myself.
Dingos and bush dogs would've been interesting additions. The Bush dog in particular, being able to pursue capybaras even under water.
"Social spiders"
I swear that better be in Australia.
Maybe Brazil too
according to wikipedia "Most species of social spiders live in the tropical regions of the world where insect size and density is highest but several species reach into the eastern United States and other temperate areas."
Well.....shit
The scary thing is that social spiders are actually far more organized than Tierzoo describes, with genuine cooperation on a large scale.
And some of them operate in packs numbering in the tens of thousands.

@@RipleySawzen peritcally in the Ireland server, were wild wolves and dogs were hunted to extinction in the 19th century. Also the largest bird of prey in this area is only able to hunt up to rabbits and hares. The fox normally being seen as top tier joke was perfect.
Cannon8X Only SSB players will understand
The best of them are pretty crafty, and at times have even avoided S-Tiers like humans and tracking hounds, but their relatively short lifespan in addition to their high-seceptability to juvenile death and rabies makes them more prey than predator.
Fun Fact: Coyotes, Foxes, and Wolves in the northern servers invest minor points into tail length, because a longer tail allows them to protect the exposed paws and snouts from frostbite when sleeping.
Just hit me. Wow
Elaine B fair, but the joke is a reference to super smash bros melee where Fox McCloud is the top tier character in the game and has been for ever, it’s to the point where Fox being top tier is a meme.

1. A pack of coyotes is called a “band”
Your promotional ability at the end of a video is definitely high in the Stealth stat. Kudos.

This channel is proof that wikipedia isn't a terrible source.....
Take notes, Mr Erickson.....
The hundreds of references to scholarly sources at the bottom of practically all major pages is proof that wikipedia isn't a terrible source.
Yet most teachers still won't accept Wikipedia as a source for paperwork.
Aximil that's what those sources are for.
Aximil Oh nah, there's a good reason why you don't cite the wikipedia page itself in formal papers:
it's not a static source, so that thing you quoted or paraphrased one day might not be there the next day if the page is rearranged/reformatted.
That Bison betrayal in the beginning is pretty messed up, lol xD
