Locked out of our Motorhome: How we got back in!

We got locked out of our Motor Home. This video shows you how we "Broke -in without breaking anything". Our problem was a broken lock mechanism, but you can be locked out through lost keys etc. With a little ingenuity, a bathroom plunger ,and a telescoping ladder ,we got inside our coach without causing any damage.

Had this same type of problem with our Tiffin. If you slam the door, you can't get in sometimes. Once you get in, you still can't take the lock apart because of the screen door, which has a nice heavy metal frame. Happen once at a Tiffin rally, took 2 mechanics about 40 minutes to get the door open. We keep a window unlocked just in case.

Duct Tape works well and doesn’t have poo residue ;) or any tape really. If you only have a weak roll tape then just use more tape on a larger area of the window. Add tape in a square pattern and make sure you use the tape to make a little pull handle.
“Butt” in pinch the plunger 🪠 certainly works. 🤢
