It melts my heart to see Risey nuzzle Yvonne. He loves her so. The young stallions have grown so much. Great to see all the horses at Stal G. Jacobien remains my favorite gal there!
Jacobien has graduated to become a gorgeous, responsible, BOSS mare. I remember how majestic Uniek always was as she gathered her herds into the barn for winters over the years. As I watch the mares and foals leave for the pasture down the aisle of STAL G, looking at their backs, I see ghosts of former Mems and foals following with them. Time moves on and things change but, STAL G and STAL H have both gained renowned citations of EXCELLENCE😍😍😍

I'm a fan of Jacobien, too! I loved seeing her "pick up the boys across the road" for the deworming. She reminded me so much of Queen Uniek doing that job. I really hope that our Jacobien eventually becomes the new Queen of Stal G. Wouldn't that be fabulous?
I have always been appreciative of Jacobien. It was so funny how she and Klaske appeared to be joined at the hip for maybe their first six months. Things change. It will be interesting to see how Jacobien developes.

Wow, another busy day at STAL G, so many beautiful horses and foals and of course, JOHNNY. I think the foals did well with the deworming. Since they are short, you have more control. Sjors was pretty funny, backing into the corner. Our precious Risey will be huge like Sjors. HOW CAN THAT LARGE, BEAUTIFUL HORSE BE OUR RISEY, that one day old orphan whom Queen Uniek welcomed and raised with such love and grace. Love to all❤❤❤
I know! And Risey was beautiful then as he still is now. And in the spirit of friendly teasing, may I say that Risey he wasn't an orphan if his sire was still alive? I want to say that given he wouldn't be around Risey was in spirit an orphan when his Mem died, but then we don't apply that to humans. And of course if we know his sire was no longer alive, I'm totally wrong (and embarassed 🙂)
@@dionlindsay2 That's true, his sire is still living. I guess he's called an orphan because it's only the mare who nurture the foal, not the sire.

But there will be cases, in the human sphere (which is where "orphan" originated), when I wouldn't want a child separated from their father by their parents' divorce, to be declared an orphan because their mother had died , or stopped caring.

Don't know what this channel would be without you Yvonne, you've inspired millions and brought your viewers out of the shadow regarding equine knowledge. Happy much deserving birthday! I will mostly miss the old Stal G but can't wait to see what the future holds for all the party involved. Thank god, Risey has such a caring owner with firm yet gentle touch, he is the kind of horse who needs to be told "everything will be okay".

@@a2Flisa Well, I don't know. I'm merely referring to the old times (the golden ages) from Stal G, like from 2021-2022 which is probably the best era of the channel in my opinion.
I doubt Yvonne will quit her job at Stal G anytime soon if at all.

Yvonne deworming isn't fun at all. I would syringe apple puree in my horse's mouth before the dewormer. Then after that another syringe of apple puree. My horse accepted without a problem. The apple puree hid the taste of dewormer. I never had to fight ever again. Rising Star is really tall compared to Sjors. Wonderful birthday gifts. A late Happy Birthday Yvonne.

I was shocked to see that Rising Star's whithers were what appeared to be as high as Yvonne is tall!!! Goodness! He grew *a lot* in that pasture across the road!
In this video, I learned something new, I think. Every one who has ever owned a cat or a dog knows that when they are still kittens or puppies, you have to deworm them. But, after they grow up, it's no longer necessary. This does not seem to be true with the horses. After all, Johnny and Sjors are over 20 years old! I'm guessing that horses must be dewormed regularly throughout their lives then. Who knew?
Whoever first thought of the Saddle and Bridle holders as a gift for Yvonne came up with an excellent idea! These will look fantastic in the new Tack Room at Stal H! Goedzo!

@@yvonnedelft9765 That is wise since gelding is irreversible! I have only had a few horses with the qualities to remain a stallion, but I waited until they were four to choose.
It's so nice to see how well behaved all the Horses were for their worming. It shows how much time is put in with them. I love to see this. All of them are so well cared for.
