No doubt some words given to him by his mother saying rising star you take care of this woman while you're out with those boys. She is very small and now she's frail, you must make sure that she remains safe since I cannot do so . Okay fantasy over . It is pretty neat that he's developed that kind of relationship with her to act as a barrier, I kind of sensed it because at one point where she started becoming more aggressive in telling Rinse Janko to give her space that's when rising put himself between her and RJ. And I bet you he's like she gives the best scritches.
I think we all understand. There are only so many hours in a day to get things done. You do a wonderful job showing us both stalls and the horses. It was really nice to see Rising Star again.
Take care of yourself and try to not work so hard. I hope you are feeling well and that you get enough rest. It is so good to see you out in the pasture with the three boys though. Risey tries to take care of his Yvonne. So sweet! 😊❤

As far as my inexperienced self can tell... Risy needs building up more muscle...but is only a year old, so plenty of time! Will love to see how he responds to lunging, being under saddle. Rising Star is a friendly, well bred, handsome horse...many will envy Yvonne when they see them out riding...

An athelic horse isn't built bulky, they are built defined/toned; an obvious example being Thoroughbreds, they are the most athletic breed of horses but are pretty lanky, their torso being the most focused in muscle building (especially their shoulders), a shoulder is where most of a horses' output power is. It's not really a good reference when RS is in motion, he has to stand still but when he does, his shoulders does look well defined and more pominent all the other horses in the channel, even his Friesian counterparts. Rising Star pulls himself by the front end of his gallop where he thrusts his front legs in a slanted articulation; he is seemingly the fastest in the field, intense motion leads to contraction therefore tearing of fiber, by extension building muscles. He has to be the most muscular horse in this channel so far, besides an honorable few that just made cameos (like Apple who was doing 'Pas de deux' with Uniek, Apple was very muscular as well). RS has muscles in body parts where it can be achieved on a cellular level. What he is lacking right now is fat but that's because he is still young and hasn't become an adult yet, he will fill out sooner rather than later. The recent updated community post about him proves that he is filling out as evident by his smooth wither (which looks prominent in this video) and his ribs fading as well as his neck becoming more aligned.
Rising Star 🌟 is bossy towards his comrades, yet so considerate towards Yvonne even respecting her by keeping his distance when asking for cuddles. ☺He's a bonafide gentleman.

It's likely the one on his face was not even a cut, just his fur getting bitten off. Stallions bite eachother even if there aren't mares around because that's what they do, constantly vying for top position of the group

Yvonne, my brother has a chocolate lab dog that is almost the same color as Rising Star. When you left the meadow, that is how his dog looks when we leave the farm, head down so sad. He misses you! Likely a gelding because the KWPN approval process is one of the most rigorous in the stud book but we'll just have to watch and watch, all is in Yvonne's hands and hopefully she will reveal everything when he is three years old. I'm hoping she will sign him for stud inspection and give him a chance to be stud licensed or approved but it would take a lot of workload and not enough time, so I would not be shocked if she decides to geld him considering that she has to take care of two stables.

Couldn't he still have good genes that will be good to have introduced/mixed into the general gene pool? (I'm thinking along lines of notion many vets talk about--ie that in dogs, those we consider "mutts" are far healthier/live longer than most of the 'Purebreds' humankind has 'engineered' for certain qualities &/or aesthetic preferences--so, thinking could it be the same w/Risey's offspring) Thanks very much❣
@@BellyLaugher They all go through a licensing and approval process. Part of that process is indeed having good genes, this is tested by their semen quality and if their semen quality passes, they get a license which gives a limited amount of pro-creation and once they have a baby, the babies are also judged to see if he can get approval for indefinite pro-creation but there are much more objectives in KWPN approval process than just quality in genes, they have to be tested for their sports affinity, they need accolades themselves and more. The process takes around 3-5 years if they get selected to begin with. And the stallion has to be presented very well, it has to be maintained throughout the process.
@@BellyLaugher Forgot to answer a part of your question, yes it is against Netherlands guidelines to breed a horse without the license for it. If somebody breeds a horse without proper registration, licensing and approval documents, they are likely to be charged with violation acts. Edit: Also, the potential studs are required to perform at Grand Prix level these days to be approved (that's the highest rank an equine horse can achieve in sports) which is the main reason why it takes longer/makes it harder to approve a KWPN than most stud books.

7:12 Aww, RS still loves the scratches to his neck. I wonder if his mane is going to end up as flaxen, it's pretty clear than his coat has almost finished sinking into its final color but his mane seems to become sometimes lighter, especially at the tip.
I love how Risey steps between Yvonne and Rinse Janko when RJ keeps ignoring Yvonne’s signals to stop getting too close❤❤❤. 🙏🙏🙏 for Risey to recover, and for Pieter and RJ to find perfect homes.

Rising Star's head looks absolute beautiful @ 6:55. His sharp circular jaw resulting from his high cheekbones which are very visible when he turns his head away, prominent forehead/frontal bone, prominent eyebrows, straight nose and his long body of forelock flicked in the opposite direction of the wind, covering one of his eyes as a complement; he has the structure of the perfect head display used for horse anatomy.
The trio of colts re looking soooo fine. Lanky and leggy and just waiting for that final growth spurt sideways to bulk up. Great to see RS being horsey and happy.

The ponies are huge😅, and love seeing the boys. Youve given them so much love and now they wont go away,they are such good horses. And ill never forget how you and Risey bonded together, so special ❤. And thats with all the horses, you call them by name and give lots of scratches everyday, now how special is that! I'm tired just hearing about your day, lol. Rising Star clearly placed himself between you and his buddies several times. He's a good boy. Seeing the marks on his beautiful coat just makes me think of my 3 brothers and all the scratches and scraped knees and elbows they had when they were growing up. And please, you are the last person I can think of who needs to apologize for sleeping. You do so much. You earn every hour of sleep that you get! Can't wait to see the new filly.💞

Yep, he'll fill it in with his fur because that's not an injury.
It's likely the one on his face was not even a cut, just his fur getting bitten off. Stallions bite eachother even if there aren't mares around because that's what they do, constantly vying for top position of the group

Yvonne, my brother has a chocolate lab dog that is almost the same color as Rising Star. When you left the meadow, that is how his dog looks when we leave the farm, head down so sad. He misses you! Likely a gelding because the KWPN approval process is one of the most rigorous in the stud book but we'll just have to watch and watch, all is in Yvonne's hands and hopefully she will reveal everything when he is three years old. I'm hoping she will sign him for stud inspection and give him a chance to be stud licensed or approved but it would take a lot of workload and not enough time, so I would not be shocked if she decides to geld him considering that she has to take care of two stables.

Couldn't he still have good genes that will be good to have introduced/mixed into the general gene pool? (I'm thinking along lines of notion many vets talk about--ie that in dogs, those we consider "mutts" are far healthier/live longer than most of the 'Purebreds' humankind has 'engineered' for certain qualities &/or aesthetic preferences--so, thinking could it be the same w/Risey's offspring) Thanks very much❣
@@BellyLaugher They all go through a licensing and approval process. Part of that process is indeed having good genes, this is tested by their semen quality and if their semen quality passes, they get a license which gives a limited amount of pro-creation and once they have a baby, the babies are also judged to see if he can get approval for indefinite pro-creation but there are much more objectives in KWPN approval process than just quality in genes, they have to be tested for their sports affinity, they need accolades themselves and more. The process takes around 3-5 years if they get selected to begin with. And the stallion has to be presented very well, it has to be maintained throughout the process.
@@BellyLaugher Forgot to answer a part of your question, yes it is against Netherlands guidelines to breed a horse without the license for it. If somebody breeds a horse without proper registration, licensing and approval documents, they are likely to be charged with violation acts. Edit: Also, the potential studs are required to perform at Grand Prix level these days to be approved (that's the highest rank an equine horse can achieve in sports) which is the main reason why it takes longer/makes it harder to approve a KWPN than most stud books.

It’s so nice to see the 3 stooges of Stal G they’re all look quite handsome especially Risy he’s quite happy to spend some quality time with his favorite 2 legged human. 7:12 Aww, RS still loves the scratches to his neck. I wonder if his mane is going to end up as flaxen, it's pretty clear than his coat has almost finished sinking into its final color but his mane seems to become sometimes lighter, especially at the tip.
He certainly is look ing good, as are Pieter and Rinse Janko....Pieter has become very friendly!

Rising Star's head looks absolute beautiful @ 6:55. His sharp circular jaw resulting from his high cheekbones which are very visible when he turns his head away, prominent forehead/frontal bone, prominent eyebrows, straight nose and his long body of forelock flicked in the opposite direction of the wind, covering one of his eyes as a complement; he has the structure of the perfect head display used for horse anatomy.
