Seeing Mario's front legs on Glendy's back was hilariously funny! True to herself, she acted as if she didn't notice, and just kept on eating.
I loved the way that Glendy made sure that Mario got enough exercise by running around their "paddock" a bunch of times. For a brief moment, I thought that poor, little Mario was going to give out, but his mem knew exactly when to stop.
Perhaps she is training him to compete in a horse race with his sister, Peach, when he gets a few months older.
Peach is really fast! She is a beauty, too! She seems to have a really sweet personality.
I see that the Friesian Horses haven't forgotten how to get themselves into a little trouble. I wonder if Wûnder was the one who broke through the wire?
I remember how the Friesian horse, Mathilde, at Stal G, used to go under the wire a lot; and, how could I forget the time that the Yearlings at Stal G escaped into the pasture with the Foals and their mothers?!
The wire is really cool, and I like the way that it allows you to control the amount of grass the horses are eating, but it's no replacement for a real, sturdy fence between them and the road & neighbors.

This was quite interesting. I have actually never seen what Mario did with his mom until now. I think when I was much much younger I tried to ride my mom as if she were a horse. That did not go over well. Mario has a much more tolerant mom. You certainly do have your hands full, Yvonne. Between your own kids and the horse kids, that is quite a handful. So glad you have help. Thanks, Yvonne.

So much going on! I think Dieuwke misses being able to play with the foals, but I’m sure it’s better for her not to encounter an angry mem if she tries. Mario is already a mischievous boy, at such a young age. Wunder seems to be at least a little like his cuddly big sisters, at least for now. All are very sweet!

I love these wee Shetland foals Mario is a real character tough like his ancestors here in Scotland, my first pony was a Shetland I called her Heather which is the name of a flower that grows on the Scottish hillsides and the Shetlands eat it in the winter when there is no grass . In winter the days are very short when sun sets at 5:00pm. Fun side of that is that I lit the candles 🕯 early which makes it very cosy😊

Peach is a spitfire with running like the wind. That was so nice to duplicate the picture with Peach just like the one taken of Spidey and Yvonne last year when Spidey was a foal. I think Peach and Mario have their Papa Johnny's personality so I'm excited to watch them as they grow.
