In my opinion they are far from clean. The response on them is very slow, they sound very warm but also boomy. In my opinion it's far from worth the 600+ that it costs...
@@GravitySandwich thank you for your honest opinion. the sub and arc's atmos performance (threads on sonos website say its not that great) is what kept me from getting the sonos arc set up. im used to deep bass like home theater subs (SVS in particular) and this gen 3 sub does sound very boomy and its expensive based on the price to performance ratio.
With the Sonos Arc not having any HDMI ports besides eARC, how do you get around not having a compressed version of Atmos? My tv unfortunately only has ARC, not eARC.
everyone has been telling me i can't...even Sonos themselves said you could only do 5.1....not 5.2.....excited to see...so they are gen 3 ? i have the Arc and the one SL's and one sub.....soon to be 2 subs by the looks of it....awesome thx oh by the way.... just so i understand this correctly i already have 5.1.......so to add one more sub and make it 5.2 all i have to do is plug it in / let the app find it / then press flashing button ...then use trueplay to reset the sound of the system ? really ? you rock you just made my day...was having an aweful day till now...cheers from Canada.....look forward to your response cause i wanna order one right away
Question: Is it possible to connect a SONOS ARC to two displays? I have a TV and projector setup (Only use projector for sports and movie nights) but I'd like to know if there is something out there where I can connect to where it has two outputs instead of me just switching HDMI cables. Trying to make my life easier. Haha.
The "reason" from Sonos was "because of the wide variety in the Android equipment"; real or not that was the reason I got when I contacted Sonos. Now, one of the annoying things about these videos the promote TruePlay is the blanket statement that "TruePlay works with Apple equipment". Nope, that is not true, there is a fairly short list of Apple products where TruePlay is not functional. One of those items on that list is the Ipad Pro (the 12 inch version I believe).
here comes another dumb question...lol sorry not very techy....is there a limit of ONE SL's ?....could i have the SONOS ARC / 2 SUBS / and 4 ONE SL's all on the same room and system ??? thanks a bunch for this review....love all your other reviews too your a natural......another question for ya...i plug the ARC into the eARC plug on the new TV right ? and the other question is do i plug my 4K player into the 2.1 HDMI or the 2.0 HDMI....cable box into the 2.0....and i am all set....i am not a gamer at all...its just for movies , sports , and regular TV

@@Dreamediaav I actually just purchased the Sonos Arc Entertainment Set (Arc + Sub + 2 Ones). I’m pretty excited for it but I wouldn’t call it affordable. I would consider
Not enough bass for me. If they dug a bit deeper that would make a world of difference. I rather forgo the convenience and have better range of sound. You can’t beat the technology and if thumping to deep bass isn’t your thing then I get it.
That view is insane Zach. Omg.
I was just about to say the same dude, the view from those windows is amazing. Where is that?

I like how these subs sound. Clean, tight, and great for low level listening. Super easy to adjust the bass/treble in the app.

@@Khoelhutchinson this is why people buy it. A lot of people don’t like wiring speakers through a receiver. With Sonos it’s plug and play.

I went with the Arc, dual subs, and Fives as rears. Fills my great room with excellent sound perfectly. I love feeling the bass when watching TV.
If they can do 2 subs I think it’s a great idea to add 2 more surrounds.

Hey tell sonos. We need 2 more SL rears 4 would be perfect

love the intro! the turn around and immediate energy, love it
Zach, you have a nice home. Good view as well.
would be nice to hear some LFE effects like Godzilla...doubt sonos gen 3 could handle it but it'd be nice to hear for demo purposes.
It can handle it
Long winded, but awesome! Thank you for all your content.
What are your thoughts on
Definitive Technology VS Sonos
Dude I cant look at the subs because that view is killer!
Thanks, Zack, for the instructive video and spectacular living room!...What mountain range is the viewer seeing?
Definitely will be getting an extra sub
Now if they can also add another set one sl. I’ll be a very happy man. Keep up the great work Zach.
How do you think these subs compare to the Bose 700 sub? I can't imagine putting 2 700's in my house. It would shake everything off the walls!
i like the view more than the subs
Why true play is available only for mac?

Absolutely

As of right now. We can only use 2 of the one SLs
you can't use 4 one SLs but you could use 2 fives, which are bigger speakers
@@2005Bener ok thx...ordered a 2nd sub.....can't wait......got it at a smokin price 700 canadian ( 545 US ) very happy
Tempted, but my set up loses the rear surrounds too much to invest in more Sonos
That view!
Amazing view
Maybe it's just me, but I wouldn't' put your fluffy blankets next to the outlet. One spark and you're gone.
SO MUCH SOUND FOR A tiny tv
🤣🤣🤣
Setting up the dual wireless Sonos subwoofers is so easy , Zach's grandmother could do it 😅🤣😂
Yes that is the energy I love from Zach!!
