- Full detailed comparison of Pull-Down Kitchen Faucets. Comparing Moen VS Delta in all aspects, and why I didn't choose Kohler or the no-name brands on Amazon. Discussing the type of faucet and which features you want.

Thank you for this detailed review between Moen & Delta. Your detailed comparison of features and faucet operation REALLY helped me decide which way to go. Couldn't find this kind of info anywhere. Thanks again!
Thank you! You've helped me a lot in my search for a new kitchen faucet. While you might not yet have a lot of subscribers, yours was the first video that was listed when I searched TH-cam for Moen vs. Delta.
I got a moen touchless back in 2018.2024 I had no issues.still working properly. I have a second place and I'm putting a new moen touchless. I like it because I do I lot of cooking.i don't like touching when I'm cooking. I was about to get delta touch.but I don't like to touch.so I'm good with my moen.great review
Thank you for a very thorough review. Very helpful. I subscribed.
Just wanted to say thank you for this comparison. The Hurricane really screwed up my parent's plumbing so I have to replace most things (toilets, Showers, sinks) and was enamored with Delta''s features, but long term and because of their age, I think they'd appreciate Moen more from what you said. I honestly never even thought about the different joints/sockets for the heads, so having that ball joint seems to be the better option. So again, really, really, appreciate this review.
@@tsukasakenzaki5922 you're very welcome! 😁
So helpful. I'm looking at Kitchen faucets now. Both Delta and Moen are name brands with long reputations. It makes it hard to decide. Your video really laid out some key points. Two that stuck out to me were the ability to have warm water and to have more precise control of the pressure. You say the Moen does better on both points. All your other points were great too. Question- You're showing the Moen Riley. Would these same positives about the Moen be the same for their other styles?
Yes, all of the Moen models I looked at had the same features (Moen website was helpful too). I might have preferred a longer handle for better leverage and control of the water pressure. Still overall happy with the Riley model.
I'll also add that I did not look at the high end models (high price). And I did not consider the versions that are "touch free" because I didn't need or want that feature.
Buying a new faucet, excellent review, thank you!
Helpful…at Home Depot now and couldn’t decide - going with the Moen now! I like the demonstration of the sprayer being able to move 360° like a ball bearing. Thanks!!
@@eltonwells5395 you're very welcome. One of the best features!
Thorough and detailed review. Very much appreciated as I'm shopping for a faucet for my kitchen remodel. Thank you!
Great detailed review! Helped me a lot in choosing a faucet. Thanks
thanks for this. helping convince to go with moen
Thanks for the comment! I was really not sure when I started my research but that was my conclusion!
One more thing I like about Moen as compared to Delta is the power boost feature which add more water pressure to the spray setting. The water in the spray setting come out like a sweep versus the Delta comes out from two separate streams.
@@rebeccafritz1831 not sure if this model from Moen has that. Main faucet water comes from the middle, and spray setting it switches to water coming only from the outer circle. Very similar to my previous Delta regarding water pressure for the two settings. It still works very well though.
This is great! Thanks! Can you please share the model number of the Moen faucet?
Moen 7402BL Riley
Great video thanks so much.
Great video!
@@amberh550 thanks!
Is that a filtered water spout next to the faucet?
@@thomasjefferson3552 yes, I have an APEC reverse osmosis water filter system under the sink.
just bought a $400 delta that i researched for a month and its mostly THIN plastic parts inside. Unreal.
what moen model was that?
Moen 7402BL Riley
What’s the moen model number and make???
@@fats5542 Moen 7402BL Riley
We installed the Moen and it's stopped working within a year
Then you know how Moen has the best warranty! Let us know what happened
Manufacturers make it very difficult for consumers by using their jargon and branding names that mean NOTHING to us- needs to be regulation disclosing materials of 10 most vulnerable failure parts. Warrenty that Delta and Moen is huge so that cuts down some competitors- But labor is very expensive (& I get why)- What fixture will more likely require a plumber in 1 year, 3 years, 5 years, 10 years? Hands free (which would be so cool) is a definate a no no- extra time for install & batteries (like we dont have enough in landfills already)- havent seen a better YT than this one-no one really as helpful as this guy. I'm buying 3 kitchen faucets at different prices Delta, Kohler & Moen pull down & will have plumber help me decide- master plumbers will know in an instant. Taking the other 2 back (costco, home depot & amazon)-
@@viennehaake9149 let us know which one you go with and why! Plumbers have their preferences as well but will be good info. 🙂
never buy a faucet from HD or Lowes. They usually look identical to their much better made product sold in Plumbing Supply houses. Often they will add a number or leter after the model number showing that it is made for mass distribution and is of cheaper quality.
@@bigdchi this is discussed in the video
Should of stayed with delta
Half a year later and still prefer the Moen here. Feel free to leave some comments why you prefer Delta.
delta and moen are ok, compared, but its the warranty that puts moen ahead and the manufacture in usa is nice
