I really like the understated way that integrates into your bumper, very subtle and tasteful. Looks great, and definitely an essential piece of gear. It will be nice to be able to self-recover and not rely on getting pulled out. 😉
Purchased my '21 Tundra 2 months ago, looking forward to installing the Warn bumper and winch. Thank you for the videos and congrats to Katie and you on your baby.
Thats what I love about my asian brothers, so respectful. He used the grinder as quick as possible as to not bother the neighbors. Good job guys.I have the c4 bumper coming and im debating on the platinum zeon 12 s or the 10 s. Had the 10s platinum on my tacoma and my 18 4 runner . Price is expensive but gotta go with the platinum.
Such a good peace of mind having a winch. I’m working on getting my winch/front bumper for my next big mod. I just have to pace myself with upgrades so the wife doesn’t get too mad lol.
Hi edward, thanks for rhe video, very clear information, i going to put the same warn winch and bumper to my tundra trd offroad , locks cool and makes more aggressive for offroad trips. Thx.
Nice build on the front of that truck. Shin you be set for that rough winter ❄️ camping and those trail rides you hold. By the way got my Ikamper I’m going along with my brother star gazing on 7/5/20 so excited spend 2 days out weather permitting. Your job looks good give Kati,Bernie,BB, a sweet hello 👋
@theresa_bass yeah this winter I will be doing more self recoveries 😂. Congrats on your new tent and I hope you have an awesome time with it this weekend! Stay safe out there 👍
Looks good... Johnny is a great friend with good advice. Katie will be controlling more than that wench remote if you know what I'm saying... lol but seriously She's the Boss now, if you know what's best. Thank you for sharing, take care Edward, Katie, Bernie and of course Baby in the making. Happy 4th of July to every American that loves this country.
Do a give away with the old LED light! People love free stuff. Throw in a sticker. Stickers are fun too. Did you lose any of the parking censors in the front number? Were the instructions fairly straight forward? LOVE this install. Super low profile and very close to flush. Great video!!
A small piece of bail wire or black electrical wire will keep that shackle from turning, nice bumper! Could i still have a front receiver installed for a plow with this option?
Love the finish on this bumper/winch, does your truck feel any different when driving. Little heavier up front? This would look great on my white pro (Green XL)
Is the factory skid plate (if you want to call it a skid plate) able to stay in place? And can the factory tow points be reinstalled if you wanted too? Thanks
These videos are still great and it’s awesome you’re able to partner up with a bunch of companies but I miss the videos that were about the camping and exploration and just being outdoors. Seems to be just long ads and product placement recently
@jose_l you have no idea how much I appreciate your post and feedback. I completely understand your point because I’ve been in your same shoes when watching some of my favorite channels. With that said, I will be focusing and aiming at adventure /camping videos to be at least 80% of my content, which includes next week’s video 😉. Thank you for being a loyal supporter, I’d love to send you out a sticker (if you collect those) 👊 (shoot me an email at krokemoutdoors@gmail.com with an address I can send it to) . Cheers!
Edward Shin Awesome! I look forward to it. I always enjoy your adventures and perspective on things. I’ll shoot you an email, I appreciate the candid response.
Shouldn't the red sleeving on the winch rope be next to the spool??? I thought the sleeve was to protect the rope from heat when the spool gets hot from braking.
It’s a chafe guard (abrasion sleeve). From what I understand, it’s to help preserve the rope from any potential trail hazards during recovery that could bite into the synthetic rope
@@KrokemOutdoors Thanks for the quick response. Your truck looks great, and I'm seriously considering this mod. Another couple questions: 1) If you ever have to replace your winch rope, will you have to remove the bumper? 2) Does the bull bar contact the top of the original bumper, or is there a gap?
Hi Edward! Love all your videos. I added this bumper and winch package to my Tundra after watching your video. My question, what size are your round off road lights that you have mounted on the Warn bumper? Keep the great videos coming! Thxa
@@KrokemOutdoors I didn’t buy the warn, I bought the southern style off-road slimline bumper which is pretty much the same, they didn’t have that as a option so I might try it like warn has it, found they’re instructions online, thanks for help, awesome videos by the way
Im waiting for the new tundra redesign to do this. I know im not a big fan of the v6 turbo....i like the v8 5.7 But im hoping the new tundra has wayyyyy better payload and tow cap, will be trading in my 15 tundra trd pro when the new gen comes out.
@qoua_vang I think it will do just fine on the next generation, as other platforms have proven that a well powered v6 can do the job. The only thing I can think of as a detriment is that the engine sound of a v8 can’t be beat!
Edward, was trying to look for that mount and winch system on warns website. Could not locate it. Can you help me out to locate it. I have a 2018 Tundra SR5.. Much appreciated!
Love the clean look. What piece did you use in place of the silver hook. Took a screenshot @ 7:15. New to the winch game and don't have a clue of what that piece is but love the look.
Hello, I am wanting to do a bull bar with my tundra, but everyone that I find won’t with with the adaptive cruise control or pre-collision sensors. Does your Tundra have those sensors as well?
It looks great! For shackle pin, have you tried using something like loctite blue threadlocker to stop the pin from backing out due to vibration? I used that a lot on my motorcycles during my racing days and it works really well.
I want to do this same thing on my Tundra, I agree I love that OEM look, very clean.
I really like the understated way that integrates into your bumper, very subtle and tasteful. Looks great, and definitely an essential piece of gear. It will be nice to be able to self-recover and not rely on getting pulled out. 😉
@softroadingthewest haha yeah, but I kinda miss experiencing the epic recoveries from other rigs, especially a certain Subaru 😉😂

That looks really good! Nice work on the install and great vid. Subbed 👍
Brother Super clean design and install. Looks awesome!!
Congrats on the winch and bumper, I have the same bumper but a Smittybilt winch. Great low profile combo!
Looking good Ed. I’m sure you’ll put good use to it.
I want ! Gotta find this bumper and winch in here in BC. Use a zip tie to keep the shackle from backing out.
Johnny throwing a little shade. Lol. Nice video Edward 🤙🏽

@socal_adventure thanks bud 👊
Great job Ed! Nice.
@joe_kurley appreciate it! 🙏
Looks good. Like the design
Nice, clean look!
Love to see how or what you cut off or out of the front bumper to make it all fit !?
Nice! Very nice unit.

Another tip for the shuckle bolts is to dab some threadlock.

Thanks for the tip! I don't see an option for a front receiver for a plow, unless if you have some metal-working/welding experience and tools
Great video thanks. I have a 2012 tundra, will this work on my truck?
Looks amazing hope the next thing you install are LP9s :)
That Zeon is a great winch, and that mount looks like it was built in. If you ever need welding or metal work, let me know.
Love the finish on this bumper/winch, does your truck feel any different when driving. Little heavier up front? This would look great on my white pro (Green XL)
Very sleek!! Nice
Thanks @big_moe 👊
Very clean set up Edward.
And yes....
I too try to learn something new each day.
Well done you guys.🌲🇺🇸👏
@john_doe thanks brother. It’s a constant progression. 🙌👊🇺🇸
Thanks so much for the video. How long did the install take?
Great video! Is there any sagging on the front end from the extra weight of the winch setup? Also, any concerns over safety without the crash bar now?
That looks good!
LOOKS GREAAT!!!
Do you think a Smittybilt x20 gen 2 would fit in or for these warn bumpers do you NEED a warn winch to pair?
Is the factory skid plate (if you want to call it a skid plate) able to stay in place? And can the factory tow points be reinstalled if you wanted too? Thanks
@reainer yup both of those remain in place
@@KrokemOutdoors How do you like it?
@reainer love it! Also gets compliments frequently, which is a bonus
@@KrokemOutdoors Thanks very much for taking the time to reply to my questions. Have a blessed rest of your night.
Loving shadow 😍😍😍😎
@jason_snyder 🙌👊👊
Hey Edward! Your truck is literally nuts! I’ve always wondered what your day job is?
Great video. Did you have any issues with front sensor going off because of prerunner bar?
Crazy that all the stress of that bumper depends on 4 small bolts. Any concerns about that?

Hows the winch and bumper now? Any negatives? Ty. Looking at same setup.
Sweet bumper. I'm digging the intro song. Anybody got a name?
Hi Edward! Love all your videos. I added this bumper and winch package to my Tundra after watching your video.
My question, what size are your round off road lights that you have mounted on the Warn bumper?
Keep the great videos coming! Thxa
Thanks Dana! They are the 6 inch rigid 360’s
@@KrokemOutdoors Thanks for the quick reply. Any light bracket mods needed in order to mount?
For the bumper , the lights come with its own brackets/bolts/nuts that would fit fine
Does it stand up to impact?
Hey Ed you have any pictures of what you cut, so you didn’t have to relocate the controller on the winch?
I don’t, but the instructions that came with the bumper show where to cut

It’s the Warn Industries Epic Sidewinder. It replaces the hook/shackle and is awesome.

Function over flash. I want to be you when I grow up, Ed. Two shackles looks better than one.... Poor orphan shackle.
@vibol_bou it’s out there waiting to be adopted 😢
Can you put the link for bumper ?
Any issues with the radar cruise control after install?
nope
You got part numbers for the bumper and winch?
I tried looking for the semi hidden winch mount on warns website but can't find it. :( was it just custom for you?
Hello, I am wanting to do a bull bar with my tundra, but everyone that I find won’t with with the adaptive cruise control or pre-collision sensors. Does your Tundra have those sensors as well?
I have the sensors as well, and the bumper does not affect any of them 👍
Do you know the approximate what for the winch and the Semi Hidden Mount? Thinking about it for my Tundra.
It comes out to around 200lbs
