He says so much insanely stupid shit it's not even worth mentioning anymore most of the time. but this FFS to say "favorite north americans" and than INSTANTLY so from korea and france is fucking moronic to the highest degree.
As a non-player I wouldn't be able to follow the game at all if Lowko didn't explain the plays and strategies unfolding, if I didn't know what I was looking at I wouldn't bother watching.
I am a bit late but perhaps the pressure of having to take care of the kid Dark has the pressure to finish those games quick in case he needs to check on the kid
I don't understand how Dark does what he does. I'm sitting here shouting at my screen at Dark for donkey plays but then he pulls a rabbit out of his ass every time. I can't tell if he's a super genius or has the thickest plot armour of any sc2 player
Hey Lowko, when you mention map stats and when one race is favored, I’d love for you to say why. Highlight advantage areas, or strategies, etc. Or if you don’t know why theories and hypothesis would be cool. Just something neat to possibly talk about during the early game build up. Great cast!
20:05 - Actually, there's a plausible mathematical explanation for why so many players seem to stop at 69 workers; 3 bases at full saturation for minerals and gas is 22 each. Allow a couple extra for overproduction or construction, and you hit 69.
oh i remember Dark last game build it was my fav at the time and the 2 bases roach all in . @LowkoTV you had a guide for both the build im talking about and i was following them the best i could
@@LowkoTV I agree. I don't like these new player thumbnails. All movies have them and I don't want to watch every guy who wants to comment on StarCraft matches. Looking at the thumbnail I should immediately see "oh, new Lowko".
Hey Lowko!! I really wouldn't mind seeing some more mirror matchups casted, they consist of half of all matchups in SC2 and they are certainly super interesting to watch, especially ZvZ and TvT. I feel like it would add some more variety to your videos :)
At this point, I'm convinced Dark could bring bell-bottoms, combovers, disco and political discourse back into style. He simply defines his own game and forces everyone else to play along. Freakin peak SC2!!!
Now that Dark has had kids he can say stuff like "In *my* day, we used to beat Terran by charging through a chokepoint, down a ramp, without a surround, accompanied by late game mutas! And we liked it!"
oooh, Dark and Clem after an hour and half long series in the form of the last video, I was not expecting a video today, thanks Lowko. do we know what the format of the World Cup is? Like for the finals is it Bo9, or just a Bo7?
It is not that having a child takes your time away, it simply makes you understand where you need to focus to push forward, for Dark it seems that thankfully (for us) his job at being an SC2 player got even more relevant than ever as I can imagine it would allow him to spend time with his family as well as having a good income job with flexible hours. That being said... I'm sure it will make a ton of sense for him the day he decides to retire or switch careers for something else
Not a sc2 player here but watched a lot of series. I am not really surprised about Zerg pushing into a choke point with cost efficiency when Terran simply does not have a lot of tanks for splashing damages.
You keep mentioning the "dad buff"... and research into human neuroplasticity actually shows that pregnant women get an enormous amount of neuro plasticity. And dedicated/committed fathers do too. In a world of competitive video gaming it might actually be a buff.
WHy is it that every pro game between Zerg and Protoss or Terran its like every single game or almost every game of Zerg being harass in early game and often without being able to punish because the terran and protoss unit movement are just too fast. Zerg tries for a run by, nope, walled off by depots and if they try to hit them they get shot from range unit before they can ever close in. You have adept who can phase and teleport to their astral form. Or being harass by repears, or cloaked banshees or hellion drive by, a few drone this way, a few drone that ways, and you are force to run like a crazy mad man from one side to the other hoping that you won't lose too many drone. Not that you are going to be able to punish those banshee or hellions. Or you got a few phoenix drive by lifting your queen or drone and killing a few of them and they are out before you can do anything or a few oracle that can easily take out your entire army of Zergling. I don't understand how this game is suppose to be balance. I know that there are a few crazy player out there who seemed to be able to withstand the Zerg being nerf to oblivion like Serral, and Dark and that on the ladder there are a few anomally being really most commentator will say that a fully upgraded army of terran cannot be destroyed by zerg unless they make a lot of errors.
"Many of the maps are Terran favoured" That's some brilliant survivorship bias in display. Almost textbook example worthy. The maps aren't favouring Terran, the patch is. Early Terran mech needs to be reined in (to be honest, air Terran also does, but I believe that's more of a problem of buffing Air for the other two races). The only reason Serral keeps cleaning house is because he brings with himself a Terrifying Presence aura debuff to his opponents.
Everybody please welcome South Korea and France to the United Sates of America! Raaaa. REAL TALK: why are there no American SC2 players? Do we really just suck this much at RTS games?
Ah yes. Dark and Clem are indeed two of my favorite North American SC2 pros
glad others heard that too lol hmmm 🤨
He says so much insanely stupid shit it's not even worth mentioning anymore most of the time. but this FFS to say "favorite north americans" and than INSTANTLY so from korea and france is fucking moronic to the highest degree.
If I'm not mistaken, they shop at the store next to my house lmao
Dark plays like the overmind would. Just pure madman builds evolving throughout the series, completely incomprehensible for mere mortals like us.
I really like how lowko tells us what the meta builds are and what is considered good gameplay on top of his entertaining casting
As a non-player I wouldn't be able to follow the game at all if Lowko didn't explain the plays and strategies unfolding, if I didn't know what I was looking at I wouldn't bother watching.
I like his pro no-nonsense style.
Dark laughs at the Sword of Damocles and holds down the Korean equivalent of M in game 2.
73 percent winrate for terran and no fix for months. Once again ill say it since release day: terran op
Are we talking about a specific map?
@zachariastsampasidis8880 yeah on the first map. Sounds like Zerg and Protoss haven't thought hard enough about how to win on this map.
A million thanks for explaining the complexities of trading and providing step-by-step instructions. Your guidance is truly valuable.
Thanks for the video, Lowko. Mass Muta's are always a scary situation! ❤
I am a bit late but perhaps the pressure of having to take care of the kid Dark has the pressure to finish those games quick in case he needs to check on the kid
I came for the existentialism. But, stayed for the hidden boss Dark. Only Lowko could bring something so great.
I don't understand how Dark does what he does. I'm sitting here shouting at my screen at Dark for donkey plays but then he pulls a rabbit out of his ass every time. I can't tell if he's a super genius or has the thickest plot armour of any sc2 player
Yes
Calculated.
plotarmor lmao! 🙂
Dark has the StarCraft version of dad strength
33:50 - Some sacrifices are necessary for the glory of the Terran Dominion

Top tier commentary by Lowko as per usual
oh i remember Dark last game build it was my fav at the time and the 2 bases roach all in . @LowkoTV you had a guide for both the build im talking about and i was following them the best i could
Dark and Clem are so fun to watch, especially with Dark on some wild-ass build pulling something out of his magician hat.
Probably my two favorite players going against one another, love it !
12:18 is that you, Lemongrab? Unacceptable!
raising kids are expensive, u need win all starcraft tournaments as a good dad to provide for your family!
Love the content lowko. I can’t fall asleep without listening to your beautiful voice anymore.
ur going to thumbnail jail
10 year sentence
Ok. But why this time? 😢
@@LowkoTV you know what you did 😂
@@LowkoTV I agree. I don't like these new player thumbnails. All movies have them and I don't want to watch every guy who wants to comment on StarCraft matches. Looking at the thumbnail I should immediately see "oh, new Lowko".
I thought it was a good thumbnail…
'Mass Muta to the face, no way to lose!' - Translated from a famous Chinese commentator's quote

Sorry Lowko! I’m going to need 2 videos a day! Your too entertaining.
Makes my day!!
Cool to know some personal details about players. Such as a baby and "found a purpose".
I like to imagine that, anytime Dark's reaction is slow is because his daughter did something adorable and he's got that goofy dad grin on his face.
12:19 in whatever way Posiboooooooo!!!!
Lowko please continue to do excellent work :)
Clem, I can't bear it!
At this point, I'm convinced Dark could bring bell-bottoms, combovers, disco and political discourse back into style.
He simply defines his own game and forces everyone else to play along. Freakin peak SC2!!!
Always enjoy the Moo'tas. Same for the Swarmhosts, like the underappreciated units. Make for great games.
Someone should host a pro 1v1 tournament, but they have to play on 3v3 or 4v4 maps, with a higher supply cap.
Imagine how long the games would go...
Now that Dark has had kids he can say stuff like "In *my* day, we used to beat Terran by charging through a chokepoint, down a ramp, without a surround, accompanied by late game mutas! And we liked it!"

no Bear, well, i think they were forced to use the "Monster Drink" sign!
love u lowko!!!
Lowko is the easily the best caster.
Are you going to be live streaming any of the finals next month?
Maybe with the big tournament coming up Dark is wanting to try builds on harder maps against non-korean high level players to practice?
It is not that having a child takes your time away, it simply makes you understand where you need to focus to push forward, for Dark it seems that thankfully (for us) his job at being an SC2 player got even more relevant than ever as I can imagine it would allow him to spend time with his family as well as having a good income job with flexible hours.

Bring back Mutas!!! Ling, bane, muta is such a fun style to watch.
Not a sc2 player here but watched a lot of series. I am not really surprised about Zerg pushing into a choke point with cost efficiency when Terran simply does not have a lot of tanks for splashing damages.
You don't have time anymore, but your kid lets you see things out of new eyes, so you see things you didn't before. It balances out.
the mutas keep the terran home and making thors and mines and that's when you make the ultras hehe
i'm here for the polar bear
Let’s go CLEMONT!
It's all about the adrenaline you get from playing Muta ling bane
I love when Lowko turns into Mickey Mouse to match my own anticipation.
My guy do you ever let Dark play a game without mentioning he “recently” got a kid (wasn’t recent anymore).
Dark has got to bring home the bacon
dayum Dark is getting OOOLD on the thumbnail 😅
edit: LOOOL you changed the thumbnail 🥴
Hey loko, I was wondering if you’ve tried the game Age of mythology Retold? It was on closed beta for 3 days and will release in September.
Maybe Dark intended to play on the not so amazing map for zerg in preparation for the bigger tournament up ahead.
I'm pretty sure Dark is the type of person that does side quests first.
HE'S SO CLEEEEAAAAN AGHHH
game 2 is mental.
Dark is such a Dark-esk player
Honestly, any map that isn't just *flat* and *open* is going to be a lil terran favored. They're the 'defensive' faction
"Unacceptabllllllllllllllllllle" lol
I WANT A POLAR BEAR
Woooo Dark and Clem
IF CLEM HAS HIS POLAR BEAR HE WILL WIN THE 1M DOLLAR TOURNAMENT
and then when im playing muta ling bane i always lose ... i cry everytime
We are all ocean born
Music was quite loud in this one

29:09 what animal does this sound make?
A lowko
Byun is Clem’s daddy
Map 2 the same man dark is one of the best and just has no chance to take his 3rd in a normal Timing. These maps are ridicilous.
Where’s the squiggly pointer???

CLEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It’s says Dark’s brings
Lowko there is a spelling error
Is Clem comeback?
muta should be able to out speed a drop ship , thats such bulls shit
i love tvz
Okay I'm only a minute in so it might get fixed but at the moment the game music is the same volume as your voice so it's kinda hard to hear you
Cool games. Just Dark too scared to play Clem in macro game. Only Max i Serral can play Clem in standart game in the moment.
Hiding what they literally play the exact same way every game with a few minor changes
Its so unfair that lowko has so many subs while much better casters like winter and pig have so few.
Spoiler Shield! Like this comment to ensure others aren’t spoiled by the top comment!
Noooooooooooo
Everybody please welcome South Korea and France to the United Sates of America! Raaaa.

Darks style is very viewer friendly.
Clem is not that fun to watch comparatively
0/10 no bear I want a refund

so biased casting against dark
