I used this thing for only 8 days. It failed. I turned it on one morning and the display didn't turn on. The light in the extruder didn't turn on. The China based support only responds through email. They take 1-2 days to respond. They just told me that I have to PAY to send the defective printer back to them! Really? Good companies don't do that. If you buy one of these things and it fails, you're screwed! Take some time to read their warranty information on their website. It's extremely vague. I got this thing as a birthday gift. I loved it until it failed. I wasn't using it in any way that could have broken it. I just printed some really nice stuff. I am offended that Mingda thinks it's OK to make me pay for shipping! That is a very shady business practice. I will be filing a complaint with the Texas attorney general's office. I will leave negative reviews everywhere I see this product being sold. They just pissed off the wrong customer.
You would have to change one of the G codes for the end of the print. I do not have it memorized though if you search decode, then moves the printer bed to the front you should be able to find it.
With it powered off you can manually adjust the 2 z axis so they are the same height. I have two small cans of peppers I use to make sure they are at least starting level before I the the automatic leveling procedure. Just make sure it is powered off as you set it.
I have seen a few users skip the cube and try to print something larger... I really recommend the cube because you are not waiting as log to find out if you have the bed offset correct. Have fun!
That sounds like maybe your bed cable is the problem. Double check it in the back. It is reporting that it cannot read a temperature from the bed thermistor.
I have a few USB adapters that allow me to plug an SD card into my PC. I feel there was one in the box, but I do not see it in my video. This is what they look like and you can get them for $5 on Amazon. imgur.com/a/RkYwT5E
after leveling, my printer nozzle was like off the side of the bed. when i was loading i seen it. i almost didnt catch it and wouldve had stuff everywhere. im new to this. i pressed leveling again so maybe itll do it right this time? anything else i need to do?
I am travelling rn, so I do not have a printer to look at... I would expect it to be fine, but without being able to check mine out I cannot guarantee it. I would watch that chunk of my vid again and see just how different yours behaved than mine.
another great video!
Thanks tons!

I just got mine 3 days ago and after reading your comment, I am thinking about returning it.
Thanks for the review.
2 questions.
1. Where does the Teflon tube go?
2. How do we load the filament on the spool holder?
Teflon tube is a spare. It would go from the top down into the hot end. Filament just slides on. imgur.com/a/vmED7Ll
@@HLModTech Oh well my sample filament didn't come with a spool so I just used my regular filament which did.
Got it! Yes. Just drape that "ring" of filament they give you around the peg. 👍 I did not understand that the first time.
3:45 Progress stamp.
Good start!
How do I make the bed move forward after finishing a print rathe than backwards?
You would have to change one of the G codes for the end of the print. I do not have it memorized though if you search decode, then moves the printer bed to the front you should be able to find it.
@@HLModTech Do I search decode on the printer? How do I do that?
Let me see what I can do. 👍
Here you are. th-cam.com/video/v5R9YGXH3go/w-d-xo.html Thanks for the request. 💯👍
How fast can it print
I print everything at 60mm/s
@@HLModTech Thank you
Does the printer come with some filament already in the extruder?
I noticed when I was auto leveling the bed some white filament came out.
As far as I know every printer does. The company does a test print before they ship them. 👍
Where would I find the tiny cube you printed please?
It is available on my website hlmodtech.com Check the downloads section on the 3D printing page.
@@HLModTech thanks so much!
My z axis has problems and one of them is loose and doesn’t level each other and can’t print
With it powered off you can manually adjust the 2 z axis so they are the same height. I have two small cans of peppers I use to make sure they are at least starting level before I the the automatic leveling procedure. Just make sure it is powered off as you set it.
I tried that for and hour trying to level it it didn’t work

for some reason when ever i try to level it it says error?
What sort of error is it producing? I would check to see that all the cables are firmly attached first.
@@HLModTech i did that but the error says PRINTER HALTED please reset err: MINT EMP: bed

@@HLModTech TYSM its working! thanks for the help
@@pokecollectoralex829 fantastic! Makes my day to hear that. Thanks for reaching out and letting me know it’s fixed.
what if ur computer doesnt take an sd card?

My sd does not have the cura profile how can i get one?
Give me an hour or so and I will have it added to the 3D printers page on my website. hlmodtech.com/3d-printers
It is labeled X2 SD Card Files.
