Amazing repair and restoration. The relasting was cool to see and the snakeskin was a great choice to replace the plastic textured fabric

I think the snakeskin-textured leather will wear better than the square pyramid-textured vinyl did, though. and I agree, it is a great substitution.

@@retonoi that pyramid vinyl wasn't available, though, and the old stuff was falling apart. those shoes are from AGES ago; I doubt that vinyl is still made. the customer asked for a repair; I think they did a great job. it's easy to criticize when you're not the one doing the job.

고무 아웃솔 뒤축이 닳아서 버리려고 내놨던 보세 스니커즈를 학교 갔다온 사이 아버지깨서 깨끗히 빨아 놓으셨더라구요. 얼마나 깨끗하게 빨으셨는지 마치 새신발 같이 되었는데... 몰랐었어요.. 그게 아버지의 마지막 손길이 될 줄은.. 그게 이제 11년이 되었네요. 못버리고 있어요. 버릴 수가 없죠. 올해 초 이사를 하면서도 고히 모셔다 신방장 한켠에 두었어요. 아마도 제가 수의입고 저세상 갈 때 다시 신게 되지 않을까 싶네요.
