I actually work at Gamestop and I saved a mothers 8 year old son who wanted Ghostbusters for the PS4 and I got her to buy the PS3 Ghostbusters game and she was satisfied and told her everything Joe said about the PS4 game of Ghostbusters and when she left with the PS3 Ghostbusters game from 2009 I felt sooooo good... hahaha I saved her son from suicide XD

I think it's because it's liquid piloting the helicopter so there is substance in that fight, not some random empty army helicopter

Dude even if Liquid wasn't in it, that's still way more epic than what the Division offered. With the Hind D battle it was first foreshadowed in the beginning of the game, so it builds up tension. Then when you actually get there, the Hind D is trying to blow you up into oblivion while you repel down the Tower. You get the Stinger and then proceed to fight it on the roof while its launching missiles at you.
With the biggest seller being how it was the first 3D helicopter battle in the Series. So it brought something new to the table too.
That fight is 19 years old and feels infinitely more exciting and better paced than the Division Helicopter fight. And the Hind D isn't even the final battle.
Lol i know gotta agree with you, tough you looked a bit stressed on the aswer, but that's like the only relevant helicopter boss fight in gaming, every time i see one i remember i always remember the boss fight in shinobi from ps2 and devil may cry 2(idk what gave in capcom to make an boss like that)

just to clarify here, they won for the most innovative and creative idea for game (something like that), not for the story (even tho there's none of it) nor for the gameplay. Just the idea, that's it.

Uncharted is good, but it's just not for everyone, and definitely not a classic or anything.
It's basically an interactive movie, which isn't bad (certainly more interactive than many Telltale-type games) but it's ultra-restrictive at times and I can't much enjoy a game that takes control away from me every four seconds.
My God! The Ghostbusters 2016 game and movie gave Joe PTSD....

Warframe is free to play, so it's excusable. Charging people for something like that isn't, so I understand why he doesnt like the Division yet enjoys Warframe.
+BreakingBeJammin no, it's not a valid excuse. Besides, if he criticizes a game for something it's quite hilarious that he can enjoy another game that has the very same issues. The game being "free" (if you can call it so) is not a valid excuse.
+Elle And Gramps warframe's lore is full of contradictions (if you ever bothered to read codex entries you would know it) and boss fight are mostly ridiculously bad, with timegated invulnerability phases and no real compelling mechanic to progress during the fight. but hey, maybe I'm wrong and shooting somebody in the face every now and then is good game design.
Warframe has great boss fights. It has a lore too, the farming is only necessary if you want to get a certain item, it takes very little time to get any specific item. There's quests that matter with rewards at the end.. Actual quality in design with cinematics in recent updates. You cannot judge Warframe if you have not played until you need to unlock "The New Dream" quest. Ennemies are weak as fuck if you're not going in with level 1 items against level 30s, if you know how to put upgrades on your stuff you just one shot everything easily with weapons you acquire early on. It is free, It has content, albeit repetitive. And there's a passion, the micro payments offered are not invasive, hell you have no reason to put any money. In my head it's better than Destiny as well.
The division doesn't have shit, it should be ashamed it's 70$ and less good than a free one.

The hatred Hello Games got was completely justified by how bad it was on release. It does NOT matter how good the game is now, first impressions last a lifetime and NMS royally fucked up.
That said, it's decent now.

Despite what you bandwagon riders say; Infinite Warfare wasn't the worst game to come out last year in 2016. At best online co-op is average. As for the story, its damn good. Anyone who says otherwise is dishonest and mostly hasn't played the game for themselves to at least give COD IW credit for what it gets right.

I'm kind of shocked that Call of Duty infinite Warfare didn't make it on the list but yet again that game didn't really have a whole lot of breaking bugs the game itself just sucked

To be fair the division is actually in a pretty great place now. They patched it a bunch. I was one of those "this game will forever be ass" people until patch 1.4 dropped and PVE got pretty fun.

The fact that so many games have to be patched a half dozen times before they're good or even decently playable is a joke, borderline criminal. We shell out $60 for a game, it should be ready and playable at launch. Why are we paying full price for launch demos? That's why game developers are supposed to employ a fucking QA department. We're not supposed to be the playtesters for these AAA titles. Batman: Arkham Knight, The Division, Destiny, some of the Battlefield titles.... the list goes on an on of these hyped up blockbusters that are riddled with bugs, unbalanced gameplay and level design that require subsequent patches and revamps.

I just realized why CAPCOM has that weird animation on the the umbrella soldier when grabing the GUN, because they re used the animation from the assault rifles.
Is that really why the soldier guy can't hold a fucking standard handgun right? I just thought his arm was broken, or maybe he didn't know how to hold a gun right? Or maybe he just likes to hold guns in stupid ways? Stupid ass ways that make him stand out from people who want to hold their guns correctly? Is that a right way to hold an assault rifle? Like your arm's broken? I've seen other Capcom games where their characters seem to hold their guns right, like their arm's work fine. Look at DMC5, Nero has had his demon arm ripped off, but can still hold his gun with only ONE arm! And, it's a customized revolver called the Blue Rose. He knows how gun holding works. So, that's why this douche can't hold his gun right?

Ian Khoo He gives them that with no comparison to other titles, and I feel that Joe actually starts the game with a 4 based on its functionality, if its really a game at all. I feel like 5-10 are based more finitely on details and such and 0-5 is a milestone simply achieved by making the game itself. It seems kinda dumb and I suggest he be more critical between those numbers, but I can see where he's coming from
