Same with MSNBC. Its job is to push the interests its parent company - Comcast.

Conan and Bill seem like friends more so than a typical TV interview situation and it's special everytime
Sometimes Bill is just doing his bits when he comes on, but they have really similar senses of humor in real life I think.
It reminds me of 2 comedy writers going back and forth bouncing ideas off each other 😁
I think it has to do with them both being Boston Irish and growing up around the same time. When Conan gets one of those belly laughs I imagine part of him is reminded of an old friend he had who used to tell the same kind of jokes in the same accent.

These two were always the best together. I'm happy Conan is moving on after a great career - but you can't replicate the chemistry between him and Bill Burr. Some of the absolute funniest interactions on TH-cam are these two together.

@@metadata4255 I'm Egyptian, lived here all my life, and I like Bill Burr because life is hard when you live 20 years of your life in one of the worse neighborhoods in Giza, and his comedy brings much needed levity into my life. Arabic comedy used to be good in the 2000s but trailed off as the older comedians starter to retire.
It's naive to think that english-speaking media is limited to "white men", don't come up with such broad judgements with such a sheltered world view mate.

I know it is different, since they will be active on another channel and with another program, but both of these changes, in only 6 years, have been so significant for me, like a change of an epoch.

You are amazing, Conan, one of my favorite people in the business. One must be extremely intelligent to be able to play the humble host character while entertaining a variety of people, as Conan did.
This is why comedians love and respect him so much. I love you Conan, I will watch you on your new things, hopefully comedy and comedian will be there too all the time!

Conan has really mastered the deep gutteral talk show laugh. Does he ever address this? His laugh has just developed over the course of his career as a host and now every time he laughs it's just the only thing I hear.
Despite being famous himself, Bill is like the guy from Conan's childhood neighborhood who busts his chops when he visits: "Hey, Hollywood! What are you doin' back here? Your Rolls Royce break down on the way to the secret rich guys' airport?!"

Yeah, same. Republicans feel too culty especially with this last election, but Democrats have such a need to be liberal that it feels equally odd. Like, I would either have to choose between always defending the Republican because they're Republican, or I would have to do all this weird virtue signaling stuff that seems so commonplace in Democratic circles. I dunno. I obviously side more with one, but I prefer not to identify.
