Well done overview. I have several of Ujam's offerings and one of the NI packages, too, so this made sense to me and you brought up some added features that I haven't utilized yet. Thanks for taking the time to create this video.
A real pro like you makes creativity much more attainable to aspiring producers like me, and you do it for free. As a non instrumentist song writer, I am trying to figure out which line of virtual instruments I should go with in order to get the most of my investment. It seems like Ujam is more attractive. Thank you!
I played guitar for almost 40 years, but then suffered neuropathy in my hands and some nerve damage. I still love the sound of guitar, so these VSTs have been great, while I try to recover the dexterity in my hands.
...I've played with that bag of salad ...a real shredder! - thanks for the direct comparison - really highlighted the pros and cons of each ...and yeah, both seem good to potentially get ideas down quickly and sounding pretty good right out of the box. Thanks for your good work on this.
I just noticed, UJAM key switches are from C0 - F5, but most midi controller keyboards are 61 keys or less, starting at C1. To access those key switches C0 - C1, you’d need to toggle down an octave, or remap your controller, or use an 88 key controller. Haven’t noticed anybody complaining about it.

I play guitar and I use virtual guitars because I can’t record my own guitar as well as the sampled ones. Sometimes I mix them.
Totally makes sense!
You make good video Jeffy. Keep it up.
