Audimee AI Vocals | Like Having 110 Pro Vocalists In Your Studio...
I’m a big fan of Audimee, despite being skeptical about AI in general. But this approach to improving your vocals is no different than adding reverb ar EQ! Audimee now offers 110 pro vocalists to take your production to a higher level. They keep releasing new features like harmonies, pitch control, noise reduction and even instruments. Combined, there are some very creative things you can do.
In this video, I demo selecting favourite vocalists and leveraging the ‘Unprocessed’ tag option, before I use converted vocals in my DAW. I’ll walk through how I’m using Audimee with Logic Pro and some of the vocal chain enhancements I typically apply.

uad sale now. Just bought top line vocal suite for $75, with a coupon for $30.
Jeffy, I am soooo glad I stumbled on this video. My current Logic template uses the external instrument plugin which allows me to record the MIDI of the external instrument, as well as recording the audio out of it back into Logic also - same as you have here. What I want to do is to choose the individual patches of one of the five synths in my rack from Logic. As you state at 7:40, there is no control the program information as opposed to using the external MIDI option where I dont have to touch the physical synth. That said, I have to create a MIDI environment for each synth as you explained in your more recent video: "Logic Pro X | Using External Synths - Environment Setup [My Best Tutorial" Is that the approach I need to take for choosing the synth patches from Logic *AND* use along side the external MIDI plugin? It seems the answer is yes resulting in my Never having to touch the synth to change patches. I'm gonna start with the TG77 (seems that approach is not quite the same as the Roland Sonic Cell you used in your most recent video) - the TG77 doesn't use MSB and LSB messages) then move on to the JV1080, TX81Z, Wavestation A/D, and TG55. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks!
2:23 can logic pro for ipad add some autotune to your voice to fix that
Does it have a semi-weighted keyboard feel?
Could I connect this to an ipad pro? looking for a portable keyboard to take to occupational therapy but am having a hard time finding someone with full size keys I could throw in my bag. I see a used one online cheap right now in my budget range.
@@sneakysideeye yes! Easily.
@ Thanks!
Thank you for the great video. I love synth music and the the wonderful sounds associated. I'm interested in learning and trying to make my own music but I'm not a musician, can't play an instrument. Do you think it's necessary to be able to play keyboard before considering trying to make synth music? Would you have any recommended first steps for an absolute beginner please?
Hey I’m having problems with this Roland a33, I’m using it with a software called Sunday keys, and for some reason the sound buttons on the actual keyboard is influencing the sound on my software it’s making it sounding thin and not great and when I press another button on the keyboard it changes the way the keyboard sound.
@@frandyjoseph2870 each preset button on the a33 has a combination of properties assigned to them. 1 - 1 might be assigned different settings than 1 - 2. Do you have the A33 user manual? It has an appendix with all the default settings in each preset.
@ I don’t have the manuals it kept crashing when I looked at it on Google I don’t know if you have a link to a better one
@ and is there a way to deactivate every button or any bank sound from the keyboard and just use the keys to play sound from my software
@ i can email you mine….email?
@ no. But I just use 2 keyboard presets, 1 - 1 and 2 - 1. At one point, I programmed ever preset combo, based on the instruments name, and assigned each to an instrument in MainStage. But, I hardly used those buttons. Instead, I programmed a couple buttons to go next and previous presets in MainStage, and just keep my presets in set/song order.
I’d love to see a 2024 recap!
@@tom22333 will do. A few reactions to Logic for iPad and discontent with paying a subscription. GarageBand iPad still has a loyal base. What are your thoughts?

@@the_mixx dang
Months I have been looking for this. Today you appear on my feed. Thank you.
As you know, I use Audimee regularly. Good vid.
What would be the point?
There are 70 FREE Arturia Sound Banks (little known) that you can download. Each has 10, 24 or 32 presets! Only about 10 are for Analog Lab Pro, Analog Lab Intro, and even the free Analog Lab Play! But... this does add a few hundred more presets 😁
This is extremely cool - probably the best one I’ve heard
I'd rather it just "fixes" the original using the characteristics of the chosen vocal model instead of making a completely different voice.
You can do that by creating a model of your own voice. I did. But, I'm not sure what "fixes" you mean?
I think Jack sounds terrible. The quality isn't bad. It's the style I despise.
Which vocalist is your fav?
I'm not familiar with any of them. I will check them out and let you know.
Jack sounds awesome.
I used my x6 for live, but I got too much feedback from my main speakers
Could you add an EQ plugin to the challenging mics?
Plz someone can give me a free app to make beat ?
MPC Beats is free.
I would not use Ultimate Guitar there subscription is pretty shady. They have been screwing people over for years
Really well done demonstration. Subscribed. 😊
I’m glad you found it helpful.
Omg I scoured the internet to see a good midi keyboard to use with my maschine mikro. Not even Reddit helped. This midi keyboard makes sense to me. Affordable and good quality for 32 keys. Thank you for making this video. It seriously might be the only one about both working together!
I'm glad I could help!
Good video review - easy and clear info - all I need! Much obliged.
I bought and appreciate some other Klevgrand instruments. But having only a 3x3 GUI prevented me from adding OneShot to my virtual drum collection. It would create workflow friction between my 4x4 pad controller and the software, that I simply don’t have with other drum plugins.
Interesting point. 4 x 4 would have made more sense.
Could you do a comparison between this one and Superior drummer?
@@wmusiccs that’s tough. Goran - Handy Drums sound pretty good, whereas Superior offers a lot or drum tools, from sequencing to song composition to studio, mixers, and more - not to mention an enormous sample library. Handy Drums is more basic, no sequencer, no song mode, but it might be all you need. Goran kits are $35 - $50/each. Superior kits are $129 - $179/each. If you add it up, a serious Superior Drummer 3 investment soon approaches $600. Goran, probably $35 - $200. If you’re running a busy commercial studio and replacing studio drummers, you don’t mind the cost of Superior, but if you’re a home producer or musician, maybe Goran is all you need?
@@wmusiccs I have another video on these drums coming out this Friday.
@@JeffyG You are right, tho I'm referring to the sound quality. Is Superior Drummer 3 still better on its sound quality? 'cause I don't mind investing $200+ on Goran Kits, I don't care on other tools, just sound quality or realism. I just purchased MODO Drumms, but the sound isn't what i expected
Nice pace to presentation. I have looked at several Kontakt 8 reviews and this is the easiest to follow. Thanks.

@@AnthonyRivera-h4p totally understand. From the UA website, download and install UA Connect. From it, you can download and install all your plugins.
I'm currently building a jam room/recording studio and entering the world of Apollo -- starting with the 4x and hopefully adding 2 more x8ps over time to get to twenty channels eventually. This is exactly the use case I was wondering about: i.e., running my practice sessions through Console routed to QSC powered mains, with the ability to also capture tracks and do subsequent mixing through regular studio monitors and/or headphones when needed, Thank you so much for showing that this is possible, but how to do it efficiently!
@@jeremygrace1458 the x8(s) are expensive, so I have a MOTU 8 pre connected to my Apollo x4 via ADAT - gives me 12 channels for recording live if/when I have e a full band in the studio.

I disagree about the non-discerning listener. I think we are more discerning (showing good judgement) but there is more niche music and specific listening preferences. More music is being made and listened to than ever , which naturally dilutes the concentration of revenue sources. Please don't blame the creative people out there making music, but rather the digital platforms. Its the streaming platforms that have had a more detrimental impact to music, as they operate their platforms, like Apple Music and Spotify, at an OPERATING LOSS, just to maintain attention to their digital ecosystems and sell music as a service instead of a product. They literally lose money by streaming music, so they are responsible for most of the devaluation of music as feasible career. So I champion the casual creator. Bravo casual creators!
wish I could agree but the barrier to entry being so low the planet has been flooded with so much (intentionally) low-budget disposeable junk by people who aren't artists they're just mimicking other performers with a dream to somehow get famous and rich. I wish it weren't true, look how much the culture has degraded in this country.
Well told recap of the last quarter century! However I’d argue that “technology changed the music business”. And continues to do so. Radio, TV and vinyl created the highly curated star system. And computers, the internet, and AI are now killing the highly curated star system. And your channel exemplifies this beautifully! You get to have an audience as a “casual video personality”, while 25 years ago you would have had to work your way through the TV studios and networks. The march of technology is the common thread, that gives rise to the “casual … (insert many different creator professions)”.
@@nico5 yes! Very true! Technology IS the more significant factor. I’ve recorded albums, released music, played gigs, all while running a software consulting company. A lot of my friends are full-time musicians, studio engineers, recording professionals, arrangers, song writers, producers (the old way), concert promoters and record company talent managers. How is it fair or even possible that I’ve been allowed to be in the business part time?
@ To get into the “what is fair” question, you’d have to pivot into having a philosophy YT channel!
