Your M60 sight came from the M60-D, the aircraft mounted M60 that came with an anti air sight so that is a correct. However, the foregrip is from the M60E3 which is introduced after vietnam

Butter knife for all periods.
The Vietnam vets were the kids who grew up in the 50s, My Uncle's friend was wounded in nam but got home in the Army and had several other friends who were KIA
Ok only thing missing in the intro is gunfire, random explosions and some helicopters with veterans in it blasting some badass music as they are flying by

And more than once as a kid he did say "watch out for Charlie" and "the VC would never (enter current subject)". He for sure had PTSD, he saw a lot of combat and friends die.

Games can’t do m14 and m16 sights well, not usually at least. Irl the rear sight is supposed to all but disappear and the gun itself will also appear to fade away because you’re supposed to keep both eyes open and roughly focus on your front sight, I love using m16 clones irl but hate using them in games because in games they always take up most of your vision and make it harder to see enemies or surroundings unless you put an optic on it

The only thing that I'm disappointed about this Vietnam run, was the lack of napalm action (specifically napalm from the M2 flamethrower because the used it until it was replased by the M9 flamethrower.)

30 round mags did exist in Vietnam but were so incredibly shoddy it didn’t matter.
Actually as a follow up even that 20 round mag springs sucked that most soldiers loaded 18 rounds only
