I feel like I’m unusual in that I wish my greys would hurry up and take over completely. I’ve got a strip of full on salt and pepper right where you’d put a headband, and I just started to get a few greys at the front of my hair. But I got my first grey over 10 years ago (I’m 32), so I thought they’d have taken over by now. Especially as my dad was fully grey by 30, and fully white by around 42 or so.
I want my greys to hurry up because I actually like the look of grey hair. Especially because I have a baby face, and I’m sick of being carded at the age of 32. And legal age here is 18! They say they have to ask if you look under 25.
I’m not saying I look like a teen, but most ppl tell me they think I’m a good ten years younger than I am, and that can be annoying, especially as a parent of an almost teenager. “Oh, are you sisters?” No, she’s my daughter. “Wow! You must have been really young when you had her then!” (Complete with judgemental face). No. I was 20. Not that young. (Insert look of disbelief here).
Plus, grey hair means I can play around with funky colours without having to bleach my dark hair first. So yeah, I really wish they’d just hurry on up!

    • @britjj5126
      @britjj5126 4 ปีที่แล้ว +13

Neartmhor Girl I don’t know if that was a humble brag 😅 but embrace looking young for 32. Not a bad problem to have 😉 We don’t often appreciate what we have going for us til it’s gone. I’m 32 (no kids) and I LOVE being mistaken for being younger 😍

Congratulations on your partnership with Pantene! Fabulous skin and THAT HAIR! Your hair has gotten so long. 2020 BC: Before Corona! Loved it all. Beautiful hair results: hair is thick looking, jet black, juicy and moisturized and so healthy looking.

Yesssss!!!! Braid out turned out great! I’m here for the hair videos!
I too have grays only in the front, and since I was in my 20’s no less. Smh. Like get out of here! Lol!
Anyway, thank you for the vid and the breakdown of what water and hard water do to our hair. And congrats on a sponsorship! The growth is wonderful!

Thanks, Nakka! Braids have really let my hair retain length with minimal effort -- especially since I trim/cut her kind of often!

Pardon the late response. My life only allows so much sitting to watch something in one day, so my watch list grows daily. 🤷‍♀️ Moving along...
Despite not having any relevance to me, this was still an interesting watch. I used to work as a receptionist at a hair salon, and most of what I saw, when it came to really curly/ tightly curled hair (including Scottish, Latina, and Asian) it was more to just style for the day- mainly braids or using styling tools. Thank you for taking the time to share the process of a routine you do. I agree, the look came out cute!
Hope these products continue to work for you. Have a great week and see you in the next video.

Love your hair! I wasn’t going to try this. But now since it has your stamp of approval, I’m buying it tomorrow. I love your commentary on current events, but I also enjoy your hair and makeup GRRM videos too.

I've been using Pantene Gold for a couple of years. I looove how my hair feels. I mix them with my Aunt Jackie's and I love how healthy my hair is now.

I'm so glad you mentioned that hard water can damage our hair. I moved to Cali from Florida and the water was so hard in the last city that I lived in that I literally had to naturally treat the water (to soften it) before bathing in it or washing my hair (especially since I have eczema on my skin and scalp). I heard a few people (including beauticians) tell me that I only needed water to moisturize my hair........it never made any sense for me (with low porosity 4c hair).
Hopefully you'll do more hair videos in the future!

I finally Googled "morphe code". I am so not into makeup that I had no clue! One result was "jeffrey star morphe code" so now I think I get it. 🤔
Nice results but I'd like to see it after 3-5 days of humid weather.
"Black hair" is not a monolith; there are so many different types. Personally these products sound too "oily" (ie greasy) for my hair. I lean towards gels. Thanks for the demo!

Actually used to use the brown bottle Pantene in high school. Stayed using the bulk of Pantene's textured hair gold series combined with my own oil mix and Miss Jackie's leave in conditioner this year and my hair loves it! Argan oil, that scent, the wash routine slip, and the softness is real!

Thank you for talking about the ingredients! Even if i wouldn't buy that exact product I have dry hair which for some reason haaaates silicones. It's like my ends get strangled to death after I use those products for too long, my hair looks shiny... but the split ends look like the Idra monster. It took me months with silicone free products to grow my ahir past the shoulders, it was a long journey. Congrats for the sponsorship, happy big hair brands are caring for all kinds of hair.:)

The algorithm has been recommending me your hair videos from like three years ago so it feels appropriate for you to do one now. Oh, and as a South Carolina resident, I am afraid that I must scoff at your complaints regarding a temperature of 89 degrees. That’s borderline pleasant around here.
