hahaha I love the gate. My mom was an artist she painted the front door of her house. And also the mailbox. actually, she would paint anything. that was her tagline. "I'll paint anything".😊
I love the bottlecap figure with the pin cushion! I used to have a collection of those bottlecap people that were holding iodized aluminum bowls on their heads and in their hands. I've never seen the pin cushion version. I read that they were craft projects made in the mid-1950s to the mid-1960s by boy scouts, by kids at camp, and by crafters to sell at church bazaars, etc. I sold mine on eBay (to help pay for grad school) and they sold for $30-80, so Dr. Lori's average was right on the mark. The price depends on the special details of each.

I love that goose gate! If I remember correctly, Dr. Lori thought it was probably painted by the people or person who owned the house or farm, so it would be be a unique gate. Love it and love her!
