Honestly, don't sweat about being "worthy" of film or sponsorships or coming back or any of that. It's scary as hell to be on hiatus for so long after the industry has changed so much, but you've also changed and this is a perfect opportunity to express your new sense of self. Keep shooting for the stars dude, you'll fit right in.
I feel you man. I just relapsed for a week after being clean for 4 years. I had to get help before I blew up my life and everyone in it. I know I have a different struggle but it's similar. I've never had the chance to get my music where I want it despite being a "successful" engineer. I also don't have a wife....yet. But I'm glad you're doing better man, and I'm grateful to be alive myself.

Side note: I’m currently doing chemo treatments. As I write this I’m hooked up to a pump for the next 24 hours and man chemo is ROUGH. Those clips of you hit home in a real way for me. I can’t imagine dealing with balancing treatments, symptoms from treatments, and everything else with mental health on top. Seriously Scott I’ve always looked up to you and you sharing your battle makes me look up to you even more. Me along with SO many other people are in your corner!!

What a relief to see that you still out there and are even happier and healthier then ever before. I always loved your videos and most of them touched my alot. I have watched several of those dozen of times and will continue doing till the end of my days i think. I'm also still wearing your insanely comfy shirts with pride i just love them :)
I actually struggle to find the words to express my thoughts and feelings (maybe also due to the fact this isnt my main language) but i always felt inspired and in a good mood when i could watch and listen to some of your productions. When seeing the BTS i always wanted to be a part of your team, or just be around you since im not into anything related to video-creation, make-up, dancing, choreography etc....
Im just very glad that you are doing well (or at least better) again and still walking on this earth and can be a father and husband for your kids and your wife.

That feeling of your peers and social media can be so toxic man, especially when we are trying to recover. As long as we have a healthy foundation, the rest will follow. I truly believe this.

Hey man, so much I want to say but I’ll keep it short.
I’ve often wondered where you went over the years. I have a 6 year old a 4 yr old and a 2 yr old and for many years now they have watched your dance videos and danced their hearts out in our living room. We have played it hundreds and hundreds of times. It’s been a huge source of joy for us all. I always hoped you would make more of the dance battle ones 😅.
I also deal with anxiety so I can relate to that part. I’m currently bed ridden for 5 days now with the flu as I type this so I can’t even imagine how you felt being secluded and sick for that long.
God bless you man and I have prayed for you and your family and believe you have great things coming brother.
It’s stories like these that make all the hard days worth it. When I hear about the videos bringing families together, nothing makes me happier. I am excited to be getting back to work. And thank you.

Be good to yourself. We have mental struggles because this insidious bacterial infection causes brain inflammation ... then we have to deal with the doctors who won't treat our Lyme properly. Losing our former selves is the hardest part. Glad to hear you are doing so much better. I'm in the middle of the struggle right now seeking treatment.
The damage is does to the brain is it permanent?
I think the best thing is to find a good Lyme literate doc to help clear out as much inflammation and infection as possible @@jonathangraham6412 ... I think with Lyme we all go one day at a time.

So that said I love the video and hope the best for you. Maybe i was aware of it before. I can't remember. I came to it now, expecting an uncomfortable watch. But i couldn't tear away, I didn’t want to. It was real and sincere and hearing you was strengthening but also scary. What would happen if you didn’t get treaded and just went for an easier but slower life?
But no doubt as you continue to go through this horrible healing and recovery you probably will be glad in the end. Just the now is horrible. But glad you are bouncing back.

So often we see only the highlight reels, the on-camera perfection, so thank you Scott for normalizing the struggle and helping other people feel better about not having a perfect life either. Mental health is SO important and deserves so much more respect and air time than it currently gets. I love that you wrote a song about your experience…. What a great way to process your experiences and be so openly authentic. Can’t wait to hear it.
My therapist says that with balance, passion inspires energy. I hope you find that sweet sweet zone between slowing down and taking care of yourself in tandem with your energizing music and projects. You have a lot of talent and we’re so glad you share that with us :)

It's so good to see that you're doing better! I remember I tried to find out how you were doing but couldn't find a lot. A friend of mine also suffers from a similar condition and it's heartbreaking to see. I'm so glad you've found the light at the end of the tunnell! The youtube space will be a better place again now you're back! Never be insecure about if people will still like your work or if we want to hear your stories, because we do! I've watched every second of this video because I care. And I'm guessing you have created a fanbase that care about you as well and are glad you're back again!

Young and energetic can bring a lot when you can channel it. Like the old days and the folks you were working with that not many folks knew. I'm glad you didn't take the permanent option. While I can't KNOW from any personal experience, I know enough people with Lyme's that I fully understand how ending everything would appear a better option. Just be strong and know that you have an army of fans who love you and want you to get better and succeed at all you do.
I am glad too. It was hard to see any other option at times. I just hope I can help others who may be struggling.

I worked with a woman who also had this. Not as severe but she had all of the game symptoms and she ended up needing to quit in order to keep her QOL up. Lyme isn't a joke. Good to see you pulling through.
