They make white land cruisers, and others have blacked them out as well and they do look good. But there is no Voodoo blue land cruiser on the planet, you guys missed out on a great opportunity :(

As someone that does this for a living I really appreciate you guys showing what goes into wrapping a car. So many people come into my shop and ask us how much to wrap their rig and how long does it take, almost everyone thinks it's faster / easier / cheaper than painting. Which isn't always true, it takes a lot of time and knowledge to do correctly.

Yeah agree, looks like an older Rav4, they should have peft that trim off, much classier without it. I have seen other people in my year of highlander with trim like that and looks awful, where mine is Limited and looks classy
Yea blacking out the door molding was a poor choice IMHO, other than that it looks great!
Molding should have been completely off the car. Car looks way nicer without them.

Sorry guys but the wrapped stock grille is just not gonna cut it. If I recall correctly you said you were gonna get one with the TOYOTA script on it last episode - do it, just looks like cutting corners rn. You’re being measured against a very high standard here. It has to look OEM!

It's going to look a lot better with the black wheels and lift.
Don't forget to go by the DMV and change the vehicle color on your registration, or plan to be pulled over frequently. When a cop pulls in behind and runs your tag, it would show grey Land Cruiser, but he/she would be looking at white Land Cruiser.
That R33 Skyline in the background in the first shot was a nice thing to see
r33 is the worst skyline. for me r32 is the best.

I never said it was the best, just saying any Skyline in the US is nice to see. I happen to agree the R32 and R34 are the two best Skylines.
That’s one of those guys who doesn’t care about what he’s working. He will do the absolute best he can no matter what.
Production has gotten way better, camera work , quality video and different angles really make it feel like a “ professional “ production. Music choice was well done and sound quality from the mics is great, only thing I’m not a fan of is the graphics design but that’s. A personal preference. Keep it up I’m really enjoying the final product.

NOPE. White is better. Much cooler in the summer and doesn't show the scratches. Here in the Pine Barrens of NJ we have something called the Wharton rash - basically if you off-road (actually) your Voodoo Blue vehicle it will look like shite within 5 mins, because Wharton State Forest will scratch the crap out of it.

This looks a lot like the GX land cruiser Toyota sell in Australia. This is the cheapest model land cruiser and comes with black mirrors and handles, and most of them are white because they are bough as work vehicles.
don't forget they come with snorkels.

Interesting, sadly in the US we only have the fully loaded trim which is why or base price is 85kUSD for a land cruiser.
We also have the Toyota Sequoia (idk if Australia has that or not...) But the Sequoia is probably the reason why we don't get the cheaper LC.
Dillon Hawkins Well they are not cheap in any trim 😁. A fully loaded in my country cost $145k. The basic GX is around 79k. The basic comes with a 4,2 Inline 6 turbo engine and in the upper trims you can choose between the inline 6, a twin turbo intercooler 4,5 V8 or the 5,7 gas V8. We are lucky here as all the 4x4 Toyota lineup is available, Rush, RAV4, Hilux, Fortuner, 4Runner, Tacoma, Land Cruiser Prado, Sequoia, Land Cruiser 200, Land Cruiser 70 series (pick up and wagon) and still we have the FJ Cruiser.

Looks good, but should've wrapped the roof in gloss black. Front grille needs to be changed to the one that says "TOYOTA" across it and front headlights should be changed to projectors to give it that more aggressive look. Can't wait to see the updates on this build
I like that shiny white. I also get the feeling that the guy you showed working on it is the type that wants to just zone out and focus on his work. As if that is his world while he's working on it.

I think Land Cruisers look better without the TRD Pro treatment. I don't think it's fitting since they are more mature and the TRD stuff is for the younger crowd. A little tacky in my opinion for a Land Cruiser. It would have been nice to see the money spend on sliders and other practical modifications. To each his own.

Cool transformation. I have to mention that TH-cam interrupted the video 5 times with commercials for me which ruined my immersion. Just wanted to let you know this is going on in your videos. I guess its good to be in high demand for advertisers. But don’t let advertising turn off your viewers.

I get it. I am suggesting that 5 interruptions in a 20 minute video is to much and reaching the point of turning me off of viewing your videos. I don’t know if you have any control over it, but if so you might want to consider dialing it back a little. I love your videos and wanted to let you know it was getting this bad in case you were not aware. I want you guys to make money and be successful because I think you have great content.
I think the wrap looks killer and the black accents definitely look great especially once you put black wheels! The side panel in black isn't my favorite but once you put the wheels on that might change my mind. the only thing I would have done different is on the front Toyota emblem I would have painted it red. I have a friend that did that to his trd Tacoma and it looks awesome.
I think you should of made the Land cruiser lettering pop on the back.
Yes the 4runner TRD Pro has chrome Toyota emblem and 4runner lettering on black. Should of also left the front Toyota emblem chrome.
Only thing I don't like about it is that most 200 series in Australia are white haha.
Will look good with the lift and wheels though

Nice installment in the TFL Pro series! Love the choice of white (I like white trucks) and the black contrast (except I could do without the black moldings, but let's see it with the black wheels). I'm a little surprised that you started with the cosmetic, both because that has nothing to do with off-road capability and because the finishes could be messed up during the the work on the mechanical upgrades. Oh, well, I guess we all do things differently. Looking forward to seeing the next step(s)!
At least he didn't say it is based on the Tundra/Sequoia platform this time. Mind you, he also didn't address his glaring mistake from the last video, either.
It's a PandaCruiser! It looks great, with the exception of the black on the doors. There is too much contrast between it and the white wrap, and it makes it look cheap and out of place. The attention to detail by the installer was fantastic.
Looks badass! Now do an LED light upgrade to all the factory lights!
Imagine if Toyota actually made a Land Cruiser TRD Pro and they actually gave it front and rear diff locks, skid plates, and a lift. It would be a beast!
Love the new wrap on the TFL Pro land cruiser and can’t wait to see the other changes! From the right angle in white the landi looks like a sequoia, never thought they were that similar! Still super exciting progress! I would love to take my stock 2014 fj to goldmine hill for some fun, and a proper TFL FJ cruiser off road review. Maybe even for a new vs old segment. I don't think they were aware of that. In US we only get the fully loaded trim of the land cruiser.

In a word: Spectacular.
Get rid of the black molding on the side, should be matching white, but i think black badges, black grille and black LC on the hatch is done proper. Id say DO NOT do the snorkel. Its unnecessary to go and hack up the fender for something you dont need. The TRDPro didn't always have the 'high desert clean air intake'. Don't bother with cutting into that fresh wrap and hack the fender to get that in there. We are in the mountains, not the beach.

How durable are vinyl wraps? If you need to fix a section, does the color match blend well or does the vinyl fade? Do you wax or do anything to the vinyl to protect it?
Depending on the brand and care of the wrap. If I remember correctly 3M and Avery say 12 years life with proper care. I've seen cars with 7-8years on them still looking good.

I like that you are sticking to the TRD Pro predominantly but this IS a “TFL” Pro model first and foremost so you really should make some small and personalized changes like the black on the side doors. I actually like it. I have read the other comments and understand the comparisons to the Rav etc but think I will reserve judgement until the project is complete. The colour is just a very small step in making the vehicle TRD Pro worthy. NOW comes the best part! Making it off-road worthy! So far so good ! (VooooooDoooooo Bluueeeeee,,,,,,,,, haha) kinda like watching a sculptor, it may not make sense or look perfect until the very end!
Nice job Roman and Tommy. I know there is a family connection but, with no deference to Roman, Tommy may be able to look at some possible outside ventures, maybe even toward TV? He is getting so much better with each video and I think he resonates better with a younger crowd. I’m an old fart, older than Roman by a fair number but I like to be objective as possible. My nephew (23) understands Tommy much better. Not sure how that works, I understand both of you very well!

another advantage to wraping an of roader is that if you wack a fender, just bolt on another one and get wrapped.

For those who have lived with a wrapped car for a while, what kind of precautions are there when it comes to washing the car? Any types of cleaners to avoid? Can the wrap be waxed? Should you avoid high pressure washes? Basically, is there anything that can damage the wrap that wouldn't normally damage the paint?
My first thoughts are to protect the original paint and I think reversing the process will be quite a bit more difficult, due to all the glue. So if it’s a clear wrap then removing it wouldn’t matter too much if some of it still remains. What do you think? Or am I missing the point of this!
You are missing the point, it peels off easy once you get a corner started, no drama to go back to pre-wrapped when you want to sell it

That landcruiser is not stuck in snow, just bad tires that is biased towards highway use. Put on all terrain or mud tires and you will see the difference.
You guys should get bumpers for it there is off road bumpers for these suvs and they look epic

No moldings like the LC heritage edition would be better. But at this point after the wrap, just making them white might be more doable.
