hey sarge good to see you doing reviews more frequently....one doubt though how can you and karthikeya have a completely different opinion on suspension...confuses me. are looks and suspension also perspective...!!!
Most people in this industry do not touch the suspension even if it is adjustable and judge it based on the setting it is in. It took us a few tries to get the suspension dialed in as Aravind and I were the only ones riding two up on this 200km ride. But once we got the preload on the right ball park, it worked great and we had no issues despite the changing road surface

The pricing is on the tougher side..like the Honda's (CB500X)..the main +ve of this machine is that being a sport tourer it weighs less or approx to an Interceptor 650(which doesn't even have a fairing & still weighs!)...& as always thank you Sagar for ur narrow review.. looking forward to the comprehensive one.
@@tanveerdoddamani5045 It's hardly a direct conversion. Lots of things have changed. The VStorm is a more off roading oriented motorcycle. The Versys is more on road like this bike but it's pretty dated. It has got a fresh set of features in the 2022 version but it's still a very heavy motorcycle and is down almost 20 bhp in power.
Had seen so many youtubers and journalists invited to the event. Was eagerly waiting for the first ride review from them but guess who gave us the very first review, our beloved Sarge!! Loved every bit of the review, the price tag for me is a deal breaker!

The new triumph tiger 660 is great looking ADV tourer. The design looks sharp and bulky thanks that half fairing, it also gives the tiger a big bike feel compared to the Trident which feels compact. Then the triple cylinder 660cc engine not its has more power, its also refined, and sounds amazing. The tiger gets better features and electronics as well. Yes the price is on higher side compared to its competition and . Still the tiger 660 is a very versatile middle weight motorcycle which is good for both everyday usage, week end rides compared to Trident. Overall a good package, hope triumph will reduced the price in future. The review video was and the place its shot were realy awesome 👍👍.
Doon! You know, someone, someday, should build a custom tailored for those twisty mountain roads and call it the Doonigan! Lovely scenery, missed most of the Tiger the first time around because I was busy admiring the scenery! Not a bad companion for the terrain though I do think it may not be able to handle heat management in traffic as well so your comprehensive review will be super interesting. Amazing videography as well, lovely angles and lovely colours! It really was a treat!

Sarge making Monday's quite bearable. Waiting to see where it ends up in the merit list!!! One suggestion - there is lot of windnoise when you are talking on the motorcycle. If that can be reduced, you will be more audible and clear.
No one can review better than you in the entire TH-cam community. When you review I just listen and look at you instead of concentrating on bike. Planning to buy Africa Twin, would be very much helpful if you can review the latest manual AT.

Triumph started their India journey in 2013. They have very well been able to adapt how the Indian motorcycle scene is (not better than the Japanese manufacturers though). They have come up with 2 middleweight bikes in the past 2 years and an upcoming small displacement retro bike with Bajaj, so that makes me realise they have understood the market a bit. However this partnership with an Indian manufacturer should have been done long time ago. Just like TVS-Suzuki, Kawasaki-Bajaj, Escorts-Yamaha and Hero-Honda triumph could have been an established brand for the beginner class motorcycle. Triumph prices cannot be discounted as they're a CKD product from Thailand. Hope they don't suffer the fate of HD. Everybody knows who the Boss of Indian market is. And they're growing like crazy.

Triumph had made a statement that 660 tiger will be a easy on pocket offering from triumph, Probably after sales maintenance would be low compared to bigger tigers, I was expecting this at price range of 8~8.50lac rupees.
They wanted to price it competitively while also pitching it as a more premium product compared to the Trident. That's why I think it's 50k dearer than what it should be
Such a wonderful bike. Unfortunately 11 lac + on road Overpriced for 660cc. Disappointed. Instrument cluster atleast should have been at par with KTM adv 390 By the way awesome review as usual sagar. You are best in business.💘

Waiting for a long term review, on paper and the hardware specs it does look superior than Versys and Vstrom 650. DD has beautiful scenery though👍🏻

A naked sport converted into soft roader is a no match to vstorm 650 or versys 650
