Yes, there should totally be a follow-up game with Davies. The thumbnail did not disappoint. Definitely the best part of the episode. Haven't seen the final Episode yet, but I hope Davies survives!

God, Davis' 1v1 with an alien was everything I wanted and more. Genuinely has to be one of my favorite moments in all of Mystery Quest, and the series as a whole has been a delight. Everyone plays their characters SO well.
This tabletop system, this campaign, this story, and this longer-form format have been phenomenal. Davis' showdown with the xenomorph felt like something you would've actually seen in Aliens.
Oh god PLEASE do another campaign in this!!! Its so much fun and you guys are a blast to watch. Top notch RP to everyone! My wife and I are having a blast

She continually ignored Cham as a potential asset to her schemes, instead treating him like a literal tool more often. Miller only seemed to be willing to band with whomever was immediately beside her, and she's willing to abandon even them in a heartbeat. Terrible person, horrible captain, great character!

ben single-handedly writes the best alien movie never made!!! that was absolutely brilliant! the fact he SPECIFICALLY asks if the atv could fit through the corridor, and tom KNOWING what that could lead to, absolutely describes the tom and ben dynamic! cant wait for next episode to see how the end of this one resolves!
Absolutely incredible top-tier showing for Ben. The kind of moment that lives for years. Reminds me of the time the non-combat player in a sci-fi campaign managed to kill the boss (who had downed half the party and was juiced up on a drug that regenerated his entire HP pool each turn) by impaling him full speed with a forklift. The stuff of player DREAMS! So important to give them their Hero Moments when they've earned them.
In the Alien game I was part of, out of a Roughneck, an Ex-Marine, a Colonial Marshall and my Scientist, I quickly got the highest kill count, because his panic shots somehow just annihilated brains.... He even ended up killing a Xenomorph execution style with his service pistol when it came tumbling out of a room, chasing the Marine and Marshall, who´d set the room it was in ablaze in panic, and he was hiding besides the door, allowing him to just bladd bladd it from behind, absolutely destroying it........ Everyone hated the guy, but they also knew he was unfortunately the one thing continuously keeping them alive, either by his brains or his abnormally lucky trigger finger.

As far as i remember there are ATLEAST 3 confirmed in total but probably alot alot more, the first corpse they saw had its head missing in this episode ravs finds another corpse with a head missing and then the reveal burst out head moment but i doubt theyre with like 5/6 on a science ship especially one with a loading bay a (large?) truck can park in
Brilliant action scene, but watch Tom closely at the end there as things *really* kick off and what exactly is said. Now, go back to episode 5 at 43:38 and rewatch what happened. 😱Then go back to 49:52 on this video and rewatch how things went perfectly.
Imagine your a xenomorph on the chronus, you've spent your entire life kicking ass, maybe you got some trouble from the crew but you've 100% are the apex predator. And some hairless apes are running around, and all together it's going great, new food, hopefully new hosts so you aren't so lonely. And your just terrorizing them haphazardly [spoilers past this point] And you drop down on an ape on a metal creature, lights you on fire, shoots you, proceeds to run you over, and in your animal brain it's time to go, and you get Zero fucking chances, as your last moments is just screaming, before in the last vestiages of life you see the superior feline creature knock over a device in triumph, before you know no more.
Appreciation for the thumbnails- they are each tasteful, intuiging and convey the tone of the episode they are in. Love that this one has a fiery red color compared to the previous ones to show the progression. I love that the text is now on the top left- where it's almost ideal for a movie title to be. #1 had like a more "youtuber" title at the middle top with everyone around it which is classic yogscast but less cinematic maybe. #2 feels incredibly tasteful with the colors and darkness (and for all of them; Alien; chariot of the gods is an incredible title for adding weight to proceedings). #3 is like, mystery, exploration but not that serious, The moment right before shit hits the fan. #4 is incredible, no notes.#5 casts tom as mother in the flashing red montero. Him being on a small blue screen facing away from the camera, with DARK red all around, it feels like indifferent, artifical hosility and that''s a subtle spookiness that I like. #6 is just- full on action hero. Almost evoking a old movie poster or dareisay, a mr.beastian screaming face on the side. It's composition is very satisfying, definetly because of the buildup of subtler thumbnails. Whoever made these- your killing it!

I like the idea that as the xenomorph was smashed at the stomach into the wall, the upper half is flailing wildly trying to scramble away. Then for Davis' melee move he just punches it in the head like the badass he is 😄 The wheelie pop was cool, I just can't choreograph it in my head

A part of me kinda wants to see a Mystery Quest where it is set up like there is some alien or something but there isnt and it is all just human greed and paranoia and see how long the players can keep things together.
This was NOT how I thought this was going. This has all the twists and turns where you feel like a film is coming to its conclusion and then there's something else. I love how all this is turning out. I can't believe I have to wait another week for the next episode! 😭

Am hooked. Oh wow. I love this long content and more developed sorry arc. It's great that you change up the pacing alot between campaigns/games. It means we never know what we are going to get, and ads to the suspension. 11/10

A part of me kinda wants to see a Mystery Quest where it is set up like there is some alien or something but there isnt and it is all just human greed and paranoia and see how long the players can keep things together.
I actually was holding my breath to see if davis dodged the alien attack. Davis just proved he is the GOAT in this scenario
This was NOT how I thought this was going. This has all the twists and turns where you feel like a film is coming to its conclusion and then there's something else. I love how all this is turning out. I can't believe I have to wait another week for the next episode! 😭
