BrennaBlogt There's such a thing as books for the younger generation :3 (like meeeee, and yes, I have an Edgar Allan Poe book filled with all of his work)
Of all of the Renditions here of this poem... Short films, recitations... Enactments very good. This is the only one that seemed truly real. it was scary suspenseful and unmeasurably sad. Thank you.
I am pretty emotional with this film, this is my favorite poem since Junior high school, idk why. Maybe even though the ending is too sad, the love is a super genuine #SanaAllEdgar

I really liked this, it was very well shot too. We watched this in class and I enjoyed it but for some reason everyone else thought that the fact that he was Jewish was SO funny. Eh, either way great job.
She would have to convert to be Jewish. they get so angry when others dont agree with them or want them to believe like them them but they have to marry a jew and if it's a non jew they force them to become a jew or no marriage their family will lose their minds its absolutely prohibited
Okay, I almost NEVER cry, and this made me tear up. It was SO GOOD!! I love the transitions. My favorite part is after he finds that her body isn't in the stone casket, he thought she was gone forever, and then he looks up, and everything begins to brighten as he runs towards her. AHHHH it was so good I can't even begin to put it into words. Thank you for making this! :)
I see a lot of people commenting about the angels, and how they don't look like angels. I believe this is because the narrator seems to directly blame the angels for killing Annabel Lee. So of course the narrator wouldn't see them as beautiful, light creatures of God.
this actually made me cry, this was so well done, thank you. this is my absolute favorite poem by my favorite poet and im actually planning an Annabel Lee makeup tutorial for youtube very very soon.
Can someone please explain to me WHY in the hell those 35 people dislike this art? Srsly. Edgar Allan Poe's creation has so many feels and this clip too.
Very much enjoyed your interpretation of this wonderful poem. I thought I knew where you were going at the end, but was pleasantly surprised to where you actually went. Thank you again.
I am a fan of Poe and film. So I found this and was compelled to watch. I made a film based off the Raven that won awards. Glad for the reply. You did a great job.
I showed my ESL students this film and they said, " It's touching", " This reminds me of Harry Potter" ( weird comment), " This film touches your emotions." As an educator, I appreciate how you've made this piece accessible for English learners- and everyone! Bravo!
Brilliant, amazing, graceful, BRILLIANT. Ioved that story poem with the video it was just a real piece of work it struck my heart for their love. I with that I loved someone that much but I don't have a girlfriend yet. I did have a girlfriend but what kept her going was my loving hear growing inside her. I would die to the end for her my girlfriend or my ex I would still love her even if I die.
Touched my heart for sure I recently posted a comment about this. I always cry no matter it be the beginning or the end I always will cry at some point in this video.

Remember the Angels in some Bible story were guarding all the roads out of a certain city against a certain person leaving? Angry they were as they gripped their swords. Angry, fierce, ugly. As anyone who interferes with your life would appear .
They think it a reference to yellow fever and the kingdom Charleston South Carolina Poe attended a military academy there when he was young and there a legend he fell in love with a plantation owners daughter and the family sent here away from Charleston to try and break them up because Poe was a working class norther and she was a member incredibly wealthy family who owned hundreds of aces of cotton land and was expected to marry such she caught yellow fever and died as result of her being sent away poe stared drinking and gambling during his time there so that possible Poe bumping into a her at a book store in poetry section or doing interdicted by another member of the academy who was a wealthy plantation owners son being escorted home father allowing it believing it to be simple puppy till it spiraled to something serious

Those guys with the black cape or what-so-ever , they don't look like angels , they look more like the God of Death.
Seraphims are angels ...the poem does say "seraphim" ...but whatever

This is by far the best video I saw about Annabelle Lee. Great job with it. Do "cast of amontillado". If you have time.

Happy birthday, Mr. Poe.

"That the play is the tragedy, "Man",
And its hero the Conqueror Worm"
4:15 Why does that man look like Mick Gordon?
...and they still LOVE happily ever after.
It's not a tragic love story after all.
The central character looks amazingly like a talented actor from decades ago called Tim McIntyre. Well done for a great interpretation.
It was our declamation piece, so romantic =')
I loved it.
