Mr. Rickman's acting is subtle and marvelous. I particularly loved him in Sense and Sensibility. I paraphrase: "Give me something to do, or I shall run mad!" He can do hero or villain with equal ease.

I found this much more enjoyable than any other version read by real people. The rhythm, the consistency, beautiful presentation of subtle emotions made it so lively. And I also like the background music so much. You did a wonderful job composing this.

I'm amazed, soothed, and yet a bit cautious about the generation of beautiful voices that are no longer with us. It will be an interesting journey to see where this leads humanity.

Of course allen rickman, Played severas snape and Harry Potter. If you think about the raven written by Edgar, Allan Poe change out the name Lenore for Lily and it pretty much describes.
How severus felt about Lily potter, And how the phrase in the poem the lost lenore ,can also be compared to lily being murdered the" lost Lily ." Because in Poe's poem, Lenore was dead. And in harry potter lily was dead. And this poem sounds like something that the character of severas snape's would have in his many volumes of books in his home when he wasn't at hogwarts teaching. I have always pictured severas snape Having this particular poem and his rather large collection of( Lost lor.) Metaphorically speaking to snape's large collection of books.
Rickman's voice was mesmerizing but I found the music too loud and distracting.

Basil Rathbone is the king of this poem, but damn does Alan Rickman come close. This reading is so somber and melancholy. Its gray undertones and utter bleakness is captivating.

He obviously has a great voice, but I can always tell the difference between someone that has memorized it versus someone that's just reading it. This is a decent version, but he completely misses a lot of the internal rhyme schemes, but most people do. And that's the difference between someone reading it versus actually studying it and memorizing it..
