I'm so pleased that you've impressed with it!Congratulations Roger! In time you'll come to appreciate it all the more because it's big and it's strong and it will always be there. It's like your brother. I have mine since 1973.
Kirby had a polishing/grinding attachment years ago, can still find them on ebay. bought my first Kirby 7 years ago, one from 1965 with EVERY attachment. they were a tad smaller them with no self drive. Loved it! Congrats on your first one!
My 3 year old loved it when you crawled into the box. Although he may have enjoyed the dancing even more. You do a wonderful job capturing the attention of the preschool crowd. As an adult I've not seen reviews done in a more thorough and entertaining manner, thank you for the laughs!
Plant 8; 2005 is the year; May is the month. To polish the machine by hand: I recommend Mother's Mag and Aluminum polish, some terry cloth towels and really fine (0000) grade steel wool. I bench polish mine when I do a heavy duty service on it, but you can polish it by hand and it will clean it up fairly well. I dip the steel wool in the polish and do a circular motion. When there is a gray/ black haze, I use the towel to buff it off. Hope this helps.
We’ve had our Kirby Sentria since November 2006. It looks way worse than yours but I love it. We bought it brand new from a demonstration. All the other vacuums we’ve had wore out within a couple years. The Kirby is still going strong as ever.
Wow what a fabulous fun video! We had a Kirby when I was a kid a million years ago. Sold door to door and very $$$. A beautifully made antique even then. I loved the sander grinding attachment! Unfortunately I sucked something up broke the metal fan blade off and cracked the housing! Wound up abandoned in our basement. Sad. Changing the bag was a vile experience (takes seconds on my Miele). Bless you for so much fun. David in Seattle.
Very nice, Roger! That is my main use model Kirby. I have had mine since 2010 and it is still going as strong as ever. I, also, have a 519 (1959) that I completely rebuilt that I use on occasion.
Dear Rog, Now that you've got a Kirby you can see something that is amazing to me. The next time that you need to change the bag, examine the bag's contents. You'll find large things that you may have picked up as well as dust. That's about it. If you examine the content of a Hoover bag, and just about all machines with stiff nylon bristles you'll find plenty of carpet fibers in addition. Kirbys are safe for silk and wool rugs and preserve carpet wearing.
I have had my G6 since the 90’s. It has run so well and has had no problems ever. I did make a modification to the power drive that allows MUCH more suction to the vacuum, and it performs much better, much LOUDER
This is just like me. I thought that I will never ever want a Kirby. But for all the comments how good it is I finally gave up and bought one. Now it is my favorite vacuum to deep clean my shag rugs. All other vacuums what I have are MUCH more heavier to push. Kirby is just so effortless. Shag rugs are nightmare for majority of vacuums, but not for the Kirby. Very easy and it really agitates the carpet. Just how world can change! I have G6 Special Edition.
You're right about that. The Tech Drive helps a lot with that. I have a high pile rug in my room and it can be difficult to vacuum with another brand. I, recently, installed wider wheels on my vintage Kirby and it easily glides through the pile without digging.
I plan to make a video of it when I am able. I modified my 519 to fit my cleaning needs in my home. I have had it since I was 12 years old and it is a very neat, little Kirby.
Vacuumtests I grew up with Kirby vacuums in 2013 I got my first Kirby and that was a G5 then in 2016 I got tow more a sentria and a diamond edition then this year I got my avalir and they all work really well.
My three year old grandson is obsessed with vacuums and your videos. I’m using the videos for reward for using the potty. Lol. He’s had two successful days, so we have seen quite a few videos! Lol. You are so funny! And I have subscribed. And hello from Michigan and Kentucky, USA!
Great vacuum the best model Kirby made with two speed switch, only that model. Ronnie from California. I own 14 different vacuums they are great machines. Your videos are awesome.
I have a Kirby G-3. I woman set it out by the rubbish bin to be collected by the trash service. Well I couldn't just leave it there. It had all the attachments with it just as your's does. I plugged it in and it made a horrid noise. I took it apart to find the twit swept up a matchbox car in the machine, how I don't know. Well it shattered the fan blade. I bought a new fan blade and 2 belts for $ 27.00 and it works like a new one. I personally think this machine is a great machine. I have used it as a daily vac, for 5 years.
Hi Roger Another fun video from you. If I missed something in the unboxing you are missing a tube and the floornozzle. There are also a longer hoze. I got the one after yours I think, it is black. Got both hozes are they were connected when I bought it so it is like useing a central vaccum when useing it in canister mode. Keep up the good work, have a great weekend. Björn from Sweden
I put a coat of car wax on my kirbys when I get done polishing them and. It keeps the tarnishing down. But once you get the first bit of tarnish like that off and you keep it clean it generally stays nice for at least 3 years before u need to do a light polish.
Yet another hilarious video! I'm glad my coworkers have taken off for lunch as I laughed out loud several times. It seems you may have been bitten by the "Kirby Bug" and I can just envision you ending up with the entire fleet!
You may or may not know this but the green light on the brush roll indicates the brush is turning well if it is solid green. When the light begins to flicker, it means the belt is stretched and needs to be replaced. Also, it is similar to the Nilco in that it has the same system for lowering the brush roll when the bristles become worn down. There is a lock under the base of the handle. When you slide it one way, it allows the Kirby to lay flat. When you slide it the other way, it keeps the handle from laying flat in order to move over rugs, etc. I do notice as the bag fills there is a loss in suction. The bag only fills half way. As I mentioned in another post, they know offer cloth type bags that are better. They aren't cheap but I have some spares I can send if you would like to try them out. The hose suction is pretty poor being a dirty fan motor. This was one of the most popular models. I have the exact same model. Bought it off of Ebay from a vacuum repair shop. I have the same problem with the metal being tarnished only mine isn't quite that bad. It is a good vacuum to get out and deep clean the carpets but not really good as a daily driver due to the heaviness and ridiculous tool setup. Hope you enjoy!
I always wanted a Kirby and I’m now 25 years old and I was finally able to get one but it was given to me by my sister and I love my Kirby so much even tho I only have all hard wood floor’s and it is heavy but I wouldn’t trade it for the world I had a Hoover wind tunnel twin chamber but the Kirby Avelar is my new favorite Kirby out there even though I grew up with the older models g3,g4,g5 and the g6 but all hands down these Kirby vacuums can last a lifetime I love them and I love your videos
I just acquired my first Kirby, it is a Heritage and was sitting in someone's front yard (free sign) with two boxes of attachments, owners manual, rebuild agreement and hand written notes along with names of owner and seller. Mine was oxidized 10 times worse than yours. Mother's polish and buffing wheels for a drill worked. The buffing wheel package also included rouge which also worked. The area you polished looks similar to mine after hours of high rpm polishing.
My dad bought mom one of these when a salesman knocked on our door and gave a demonstration of how good they are. That was in the 80's and at that time they where one of the best vacuums. Sadly they have changed very little in that time. They are heavy, expensive to buy and maintain.
Hi Roger I found your channel when i was searching Kirby belt replacement. i have just bought the exact model of Kirby vacuum cleaner you have there as i wanted a decent upright vacuum as i have the worst possible combination of deep pile carpets and a white dog that shed hairs like there is no tomorrow lol. i have tried all sorts of vacuums i had 3 Dyson's in a year as they just kept breaking and blocking up. i also have a 'Hetty' which is a good little vacuum but the absence of the rotating brush bar meant the dog hairs were an absolute nightmare to get out of the carpets i had to use a stiff brush then vacuum afterwards. I found the Kirby on Ebay and bought it for the princely sum of £50........And WOW what a super vacuum it is it made very short work of cleaning the dog hairs from the carpets they look fantastic now i was almost to the point of removing the carpets and replacing them. but with the Kirby i don't need to do that now. i love the industrial and well built feel of the Kirby and that Tech Drive is really good it makes pushing and pulling easy for me because of a disability i have to be careful not to exert too much effort when moving as my joints can dislocate very easily. the only negative i find is the weight of the machine. and i am impressed that all the parts are available so i can keep it maintained. I love your video's and have watched a few now. great job keep up the good work.
My grandparents had a Kirby Classic 3 for 35 years before the motor finally failed in it. It was heavy and extremely difficult to push on the carpet which is why grandma didn't bother having it fixed. She had a hard time pushing it when she got older. She would have loved a newer one with Tech Drive. I'd like to get a newer one maybe the Avalir 2. The older models I think prior to the G-Series had a dirt cup, they didn't use bags. The newer models with the bags would be the ones I'd definitely go with over the older dirt cup type models with the cloth bag. Some I think you could adapt to use bags, but I don't think the Classic 3 models could be as they were too old. Tech Drive though is a must LOL.
Yes the Kirby is a heavy machine especially the older ones that don’t have self propel but they will outlast the cheap lightweight crap built today. And they are still proudly built in in Cleveland Ohio in the great USA!
Roger, it would probably interest you to buy a Kirby "dirt meter" and a few white paper inserts and a few black paper inserts. The dirt meter attaches where the mini emptor normally attaches to the fan exhaust. It takes the place of a bag and it allows you to easily see how much debris is removed and what kind of debris it is. Vacuuming the bed with a black insert shows you all of the skin cells due to high contrast. I'm so perplexed why some of the vacuums you buy arrive with discolored plastic parts. All I can think of is that they were stored close to a washing machine and the owner used chlorine bleach very often.
Most of our houses in 🇨🇦 and 🇺🇸 are a lot bigger inside than most European Flats ..so the Kirby runs perfect in my 5 bedroom 3.200 hundred sq foot home (I've got the smallest house on my block).. Our Kirby turned 30 years I replaced only 2 new belts and 1 light bulb that's it❗️we bought a Dyson Animal 2 as a quick cleanup machine and had a broken power head within 6 months😡 So I'm guessing my Kirby wil still be around in 20 years while my newer plastic machines will need to be replaced every 5 years maybe😂 Cheers from Toronto Ontario 🇨🇦
We have a Kirby Sentria, it has lasted so long 5+ for our family because we bought it used, and i has been so great for us, it vacuums great and we love it!
It's a 2005 model, I own one, and there isn't supposed to be tape on the end of the motor so you are all good, it's an ultimate g with the only 2speed motor, you can put it in drive literally any time, you can't break these things
Well that was one big mess !! I I have a Kirby and it's 14 years old and something is wrong with the motor - thought it would be big expense to repair it, so now is sits in the closet. I bought the Dyson baby animal, does a good job but seems like the brush rle is loosing some bristles..... and about a month ago on QVC they had the Shark Duo clean lift- away for 199.99 so I bought it and seems to be just fine - more passes because of the smaller brush role.....thanks for the video- take care, Steve California USA
Love the Diamond Edition of the Ultimate G! And yes you are right a lot of them did fail because they left it in the half speed and the cooling fan spins slower and doesn’t cool the motor as good and causes it to overheat.
mother's chrome polish is the best i found.... used to service the machines and even had a go at selling them... currently have the g3 and sentria models, best ever
Great machine :) you’ll get it shining like a mirror before too long. It does take elbow grease. But once it’s all polished out it will look great for many years. But it will slowly tarnish again but Every three or four years hit it again with polish and it won’t ever be super laborious to keep looking brilliant. You could even apply a thin layer of carnauba car wax to the metal and buff off to further prolong how long the shine will last.
Now that you have this try using it at least twice per month between all of the other vacuums and insure yourself that you're carpets are really deeply cleaned. There was a time in America when our cars were built this well. I love my Kirby. It's like a trip back to the 1930s
My 1980s Kirby (the red one) was a work horse. I don't have it any more but I wish I did. I don't like the look of the newer models so I may have to look for one on EBay. My other favorites are thE Filter Queen and the TriStarm
Omg. My dad bought one of these monsters in the 80s from a door to door sales man. My mum was like why have you bought an industrial Hoover! We didn't even have wall to wall carpets. I used to watch in wonder as it fairly ate our carpet in one gulp😂. However it's still going strong so
i have used a drill with a cotton compact wheel. in doing so you dont need to dismantle the entire cleaner. it may be advised to have it serviced with the agents once as i do, as they also check bearings, carbon brushes, air leaks, hence I think it is an amazing machine.
I grew up with my mother only using Kirby's and all of the attachments. She used the blower part to defrost the freezer. I wore out three Kirby's, They did a good job but was so heavy to pack around a large house. .
Roger congratulations. I am sorry to see that you were not able to obtain the Avalir. It is the newest of the Kirby line and has a better shampoo and hard floor/tile cleaning system. The big issues for my with the Kirby is the noise, handling, and size. However, it is the most versatile cleaner on the market. Consumer reports here in the US has always given it high scores for performance. Enjoy
I am pretty sure that I will not use this Kirby on a regular basis, but possibly once a month. I could certainly live without it and not feel that my carpets are ever dirty.
You would be surprised what you will get out of the carpets and your mattress beleive me i have got the sentria i started off with the legend 2 then the G4 now the sentria of all the cleaners i have had dyson electrolux hoover the kirby is just the best in my opinion a little heavy but i just can't use amything else now i have mine serviced yearly at my local kirby service center ant it is as good as new after 9 years i polish it with auto glym with the very fine grade steel wool and a microfibre cloth it gleams like new you will like it trust me
They're expensive but when the vacuum is still working in 30+ years its not really that expensive considering all the cheap box store vacuums you'd go through in that time....plus I see Kirby now offers a rebuild program where you can send in your vacuum and have it rebuilt for a few hundred bucks...I think that's a great idea to keep a vacuum going even longer, wish I'd known about that before I threw away my grandparents' Kirby Classic 3, although it didn't have Tech Drive it was still a great vacuum until the motor failed after 35 years. The motor itself I think would have been fixable I think the bearings in it were shot.
When I was a kid we loved when our neighbors or our parents got new large appliances like washers or refrigerators because we could role around in the front yard in the box. I'm 55 and im always tempted.
hello .congrats on your first Kirby , do you know in the small handle what you connect to the machine to make it hand held there should be a Kirby belt in there and on the normal up right handle there a slot to put pound coins in so if you put a pound coin in each time you use it it basically pays for its self apparently . love your videos ,keep up the great work ..... from Will murch (Leicester)
The 70s (like my 1977 Kirby Classic 3) maybe even 1980s kirbys and older had this thing called the kirby handi butler that mounted to the front and had a drill jigsaw buffing wheel grinder and dremel attachment so if you had that you could use your kirby to polish your kirby.
I hope you don't take offence but have you ever used or owned a Rainbow? I would love to see a European or English version of the Rainbow, D4 or E series.
I have a suggestion on how you can polish it. you can buy a second Kirby and get a handi butler and use that to polish it with. hahaha lol but on a serious note find your nearest service centre and send it in for a good service. they should polish it and clean out the motor when you send it for a service. im getting a friend that used to work on kirbys to just give mine a look over
hi Roger at first I was skeptical that you would not like it not saying it's not a good machine my favorite vacuum is a Kirby but it's all different opinions for everybody but what I heard the words come out of your mouth I might get more I almost fell over and died the best video I think I've ever seen of you
Try and find a “Handi-Butler” attachment kit for your Kirby, it’s kinda a rare attachment that converts the kirby into a dremel or table grinder, the older models came with buffing compounds that would restore the shine on the Kirby’s chrome finish...🤔
yes the diamond edition is the only one with the 2 speed and then the hose and power head is a 2 speed so it technically is a 4 speed and the brush has 3 different settings so you can change the bristle length should be 1/4" and lower it all the way down for best cleaning and you can pick up a lot of stuff with it i all most have the full series of kirbys if you need some parts id be for then happy to send you some
The normal Ultimate G had the delicate switch, too. The bristles are supposed to stick out 1/16", 1/4" is way too far. The proper cleaning height is _not_ all the way down, it is until the motor tone chamges, then one more click.
the first Kirby of style was the g3 that came out in 1990, the 95 model would be the maroon colored g5,your ultimate g diamond was the first(and last) to use the speed switch and the last to use a metal handle and as I'm sure you've heard yours is from 2005
Favorite line "I've been converted" that's a line I never thought you'd say!! Have to say I miss my old Kirby it was the same as the one you bought I upgrade the Avalir I miss the low suction for rugs as the Avalir seems to suck it so hard it moves rugs on the floor.... Anyway I would recommend T-CUT from Mortorworld its like 4.50 but it's more abrasive which will help restore it, and FYI I didn't push you to buy one I just said I hadn't seen one in your collection 😂 www.amazon.co.uk/d/Vehicle-Polishes/T-Cut-TMP100-Metal-Polish-100g/B004SND34K And for polishing it look up Kirby Handi Butler :) now that's an attachment that will surprise you!
They may be awkward to convert but like anything in life nothing any good comes easy! (ie: the famous Hoover converters) Those cheap things were not worth crap when converted!
I'm so pleased that you've impressed with it!Congratulations Roger! In time you'll come to appreciate it all the more because it's big and it's strong and it will always be there. It's like your brother. I have mine since 1973.
Now if you ever get your hands on a Lux tank like the Intelligence model, with both, you can live my childhood 😄
Kirby had a polishing/grinding attachment years ago, can still find them on ebay. bought my first Kirby 7 years ago, one from 1965 with EVERY attachment. they were a tad smaller them with no self drive. Loved it! Congrats on your first one!
Wait, so, you could use the Kirby to polish itself? That seems kinky for some reason.
My 3 year old loved it when you crawled into the box. Although he may have enjoyed the dancing even more. You do a wonderful job capturing the attention of the preschool crowd. As an adult I've not seen reviews done in a more thorough and entertaining manner, thank you for the laughs!
OMG I had to watch it again! I'm 71, and I loved it when you crawled in the box. Your videos bring so much joy to my life. David in Seattle. 💮

Roger, you are so entertaining! Love your videos! 👍 I've recently bought a Hetty. She's awesome.
Keep up the good work. Love from USA/Georgia🇺🇸

Vacuumtests yeah I vacuum shag rugs too with my diamond edition
Do you have pictures?
Does it look like a Kirby made for a tractor pull?
It sounds totally radical
I plan to make a video of it when I am able. I modified my 519 to fit my cleaning needs in my home. I have had it since I was 12 years old and it is a very neat, little Kirby.

Yes, I know I have a few bits missing, but I will get replacements at some point. I will probably end up getting some more Kirbys in the future too.🙂
we have had a tech drive for 20 years and before my grandma had one that lasted 40 years
Ghusuuehhehehhhhhgw

Watching this a few later again and you can't complain it wasn't packed correctly, unlike the ones you got in late 2019
Actually that polish job was on point. I can definitely see the difference

Kirkby! Fascinating channel, thank you for all the information on the Miele especially as I just purchased a C1 Powerline.

I'm so perplexed why some of the vacuums you buy arrive with discolored plastic parts. All I can think of is that they were stored close to a washing machine and the owner used chlorine bleach very often.
your videos and commentary are so funny 😂 especially with all of the packaging!! I have a Kirby G5
Most of our houses in 🇨🇦 and 🇺🇸 are a lot bigger inside than most European Flats ..so the Kirby runs perfect in my 5 bedroom 3.200 hundred sq foot home (I've got the smallest house on my block)..
Our Kirby turned 30 years I replaced only 2 new belts and 1 light bulb that's it❗️we bought a Dyson Animal 2 as a quick cleanup machine and had a broken power head within 6 months😡
So I'm guessing my Kirby wil still be around in 20 years while my newer plastic machines will need to be replaced every 5 years maybe😂
Cheers from Toronto
Ontario 🇨🇦
Back in the 70s I had a Kirby vac. What a great machine.
I wouldn't say I am a fan of Kirby because I have never tried one but it looks good. I am looking forward to seeing the full demonstration
mother's chrome polish is the best i found.... used to service the machines and even had a go at selling them... currently have the g3 and sentria models, best ever
The kirby crevice tools are cheaply made. Mine will bend completely and it is supposed to be stiff. The spray gun is not designed for paint
Good luck getting in the 📦
Kirby makes good vacuum units. Just the attachments are sorta iffy. I have one and the extension pipes and crevice attachments have cracks in them...
Loved this video thought you were going to get stuck in the box lol, plus all that mess!
fantastic Roger!
see if the masage cup brings your hair back. If it does I might part with my money for one lol!
I think you are speaking about the Kirby Heritage II Legend which I just bought off Ebay used for $58.00.
What about the Avalir? It has a red and black color scheme.
cool welcome to the kirbyclub:-)
Omg. My dad bought one of these monsters in the 80s from a door to door sales man. My mum was like why have you bought an industrial Hoover! We didn't even have wall to wall carpets. I used to watch in wonder as it fairly ate our carpet in one gulp😂. However it's still going strong so
We have 2 Diamond Editions in our household 1 for each level, very quality vacuums that last forever if well maintained.
We have 4 Kirby Vacuums A G4/Ultimate G/ Sentria and a Avalir 2. We love Kirby Vacuums.
Could you please tell me which of your various Kirby models you think is the best, regards!
Are Kirby’s also made with the UK voltage and plugs? I’m glad they distribute in The UK too.
i have used a drill with a cotton compact wheel. in doing so you dont need to dismantle the entire cleaner. it may be advised to have it serviced with the agents once as i do, as they also check bearings, carbon brushes, air leaks, hence I think it is an amazing machine.
I sold this and my other two Kirbys.
Enjoy
Ask Kirby to send me a new Avalir system and I will gladly try it out for them.🙂
The only vacuum that has a money box in the handle!
The model number means it was made September of 2005
My dad has this one!! He bought it used at a garage sale.
Question. Is this one of your best deep cleaner?
welcome to the kirby club roger i wouldn't be without mine for the world once you have used that you will not want anything else
I am pretty sure that I will not use this Kirby on a regular basis, but possibly once a month. I could certainly live without it and not feel that my carpets are ever dirty.
You would be surprised what you will get out of the carpets and your mattress beleive me i have got the sentria i started off with the legend 2 then the G4 now the sentria of all the cleaners i have had dyson electrolux hoover the kirby is just the best in my opinion a little heavy but i just can't use amything else now i have mine serviced yearly at my local kirby service center ant it is as good as new after 9 years i polish it with auto glym with the very fine grade steel wool and a microfibre cloth it gleams like new you will like it trust me
Roger we need to get you a potion to make you live forever end perfect health. You are awesome!
I have a 2017 Avalir and I love it!
I had just bought my Kirby Avalir 2 brand new and I absolutely love it, please try the Aviler 2 you might enjoy it.

As far as the appearance, once you genuinely buff it up with a machine the first time, as long as you actually care for it, it will stay pretty.
Kirby is a great brand of American vacuums. They last forever
Nice machine Roger. Could you use a Dremmel with a buffing wheel to work the polish?
Kirby's are 3k in Australia miele are almost as good and cheaper.
The motor itself I think would have been fixable I think the bearings in it were shot.
hi what do you think about it.
You've finally given in! lol 😬
Finally you have a kirby
I didn't know you watch this channel
Thank you for getting a Kirby vaccume
By the way you took to using it Ann knowing your way around the machine quite quickly. Koodos!Toots!
I did my research before Kevin arrived.
Thank you for the handheld!
I'm sure you can buy an attachment for your drill that can be used to apply the polish and buff the oxidation off.
I love your miele and numatic videos ;)
Instead of "Jack in the Box" we have "Roger in the Box."
When I was a kid we loved when our neighbors or our parents got new large appliances like washers or refrigerators because we could role around in the front yard in the box.
I'm 55 and im always tempted.

omg
hello .congrats on your first Kirby , do you know in the small handle what you connect to the machine to make it hand held there should be a Kirby belt in there and on the normal up right handle there a slot to put pound coins in so if you put a pound coin in each time you use it it basically pays for its self apparently . love your videos ,keep up the great work ..... from Will murch (Leicester)
Hello,young man, you're in for a treat
Because, my Grandparents had, one
My, Family had one, !! it's Machine everything
in one!!
a Dremel with a polishing wheel and the metal polish works wonderful.
You have the limited-edition two speed that's rare
I own one myself
I wouldn't say rare. I've seen them everywhere. Even I have one
If you want everything to top shape go to Kirby website and send it in and they will rebuild it and make it beautiful.
I have one with an older Kirby.
yes the diamond edition is the only one with the 2 speed and then the hose and power head is a 2 speed so it technically is a 4 speed and the brush has 3 different settings so you can change the bristle length should be 1/4" and lower it all the way down for best cleaning and you can pick up a lot of stuff with it i all most have the full series of kirbys if you need some parts id be for then happy to send you some
The normal Ultimate G had the delicate switch, too.
The bristles are supposed to stick out 1/16", 1/4" is way too far.
The proper cleaning height is _not_ all the way down, it is until the motor tone chamges, then one more click.
Roger, if you have any questions about this vacuum, ask away as I was around these most of my life
Actually it was released in 2003 and remained the current model until 2006.
the first Kirby of style was the g3 that came out in 1990, the 95 model would be the maroon colored g5,your ultimate g diamond was the first(and last) to use the speed switch and the last to use a metal handle and as I'm sure you've heard yours is from 2005
You've totally made my day you've had me laughing so much :D
Favorite line "I've been converted" that's a line I never thought you'd say!!
Have to say I miss my old Kirby it was the same as the one you bought I upgrade the Avalir I miss the low suction for rugs as the Avalir seems to suck it so hard it moves rugs on the floor....
Anyway I would recommend T-CUT from Mortorworld its like 4.50 but it's more abrasive which will help restore it, and FYI I didn't push you to buy one I just said I hadn't seen one in your collection 😂
www.amazon.co.uk/d/Vehicle-Polishes/T-Cut-TMP100-Metal-Polish-100g/B004SND34K
And for polishing it look up Kirby Handi Butler :) now that's an attachment that will surprise you!
They may be awkward to convert but like anything in life nothing any good comes easy! (ie: the famous Hoover converters) Those cheap things were not worth crap when converted!
Love the dyson tool though
My four year old just watched 10 minutes of a guy polishing a vacuum....
I hope he enjoyed it.
@@ibaisaic he very much did! He's a very big fan of yours. :)
