@@AlanFong Right on. I live in Nicaragua now but watch a lot of youtube. I like people who talk about something they really know, care about, and who don't make it too commercial, I love it when you bring in your long term perspectives and history. Your stuff is great so thanks.
Thank you Alan & Denise. Alan Fong Outdoors for everything. Was a great time out on the water and hope it reaches some people who just need a little push! =)
Which one? My bass boat has all the current Lowrance live electronics on it. The 19' outrage for the ocean only has 12" older Lowrance, Ace line hauler for crab nets and two cannon mag 10 STX downriggers.
@@AlanFong your bass boat . I just like to see people's set up and there storage areas. What they like and don't. Hope to buy a different boat in the future
OK I have Ranger 20' bass boat. There all designed the same with the front and back raised deck with rod storage, lots lockers for lures, cloths and whatever else you'll need to put away. I put extra sockets to run my cameras front, middle and back of the boat. I have all Lowrance electronics and ghost trolling motor. I have two HDS 12 units up front and a HDS12 on consol. On ghost motor I have the 360* transducer and the live target so I can see in real time. All these units talk to each other so I can see same thing on any of the three units. One day when I'm on the water I can video my boat.
My dad left us his 18' whaler and Ron (brother) friend was selling his like new 19' outrage with 20 hours so my brother sold 18' dauntless and got the 19' outrage. Just another addition to our many boats family lol
It's been a little tough in that area right now. You have to look at the tides for the day and fish the higher high tide that day from high to low tide. It's been in the later part of the day. Next week will be better and the stripers will move into that area soon
You can soak bait and shad is best bet, make sure it's on the bottom. If want to cast lures use a 5" pearl swimbait with a 1/2oz jighead n cast n retrieve slowly
Try some power worms. Mud suckers work great, make sure to use a bait stopper. 1/2 oz swim bait white, dip the tail in some secent chartreuse in color. Fish the sandy beach area.
