Mosko made a very good deal. They got beautiful scenery, freaking bike, working video equipment, brilliant actor and thousands of impressions and video plays. and all they gave out was one of their tank bags. Well done Mattias!
Thanks Florian, most of that seems fair even if I feel humble of your kind words, except one thing i actually payd for this nice tank bag. I like it so much so I had it to work with my lunch box in it this week. 😂👌
Mattias Eriksson I Never doubted you have paid for it yourself. But the video is an excellent shot commercial. I had to laugh in the scene where you have it on your shoulders and turn like a model on the cat walk. You should have gotten the bag for free.
@@florianalexander9183 I agree 😜. To be fair, i got a discount at least, so a tad of experimenting as advmodel was in place 😂😂. Your sharp eyes made me smile over this one as well. Sorry for late answer.
This was a really great way to show off the many features of this bag! Great footage and nice angle on the whole thing! Gave me some great new ideas! You are a inspiration for us all Tjommi👏🏻🔥
Great a room you two!!!! 😂. My only issue with all these expensive tank bags is that they are not waterproof and you need to put a silly shower cap on them when it rains.
@@neilhutton1528 Hahaha :-P you can come if you like. I share your toughts on the waterproof part, but there is so many features on the nomad that is not on any other tankbak. So i rather put the rain cover on an keep all the features than just have one bucket to put everything inside :-)
aahahaa, sure me and Thomas will ride 790's and hang out with our hammocks when they open the boarders in Scandinavia, we planned it for an event in June but had to cancel. Stay Wild and happy Trails Neil! ;P
@@tshansen Thanks for the invite. it is a long ride from Jersey (Channel Islands) so I will probably pass on that. I have ridden upto Copenhagen on my GS a few years ago to attend my father-in-laws 85 birthday so you never know. One day I might make it up your way.👍
Thanks Beck! I really enjoyed the moment when this video was done. Still have a bottle of Ramson olive oils as well, wonderful spice. Hope You will like it as much as I do. It sits on the bike or on my back on every ride.
Great video. I've used this tank bag on my BMW 1200GSA for a few years now and recently transferred it to my 790R. Here's a little tip for you: To prevent friction damage, I put two small patches of clear automotive protection film on the tank directly under where the forward buckles make contact. On my GSA, the buckles wore into the plastics over time. You could also put the film directly on the buckles. Just a thought.
Thanks for the tip mate! Will look at that. Good stuff when it's used for years. Was surprised of the income quality Hydrapak, on Moskos instruction videos it looks like a prototype or less exclusive hydration bladders.
Your videos pleased me more and more! :-) I'm much interested for mosko moto backcountry bags, this tankbag is looking also very nice and practically. The only thing i miss for my personally using is a transparent card sleeve. Looking foreward to your next videos! The first weekend with the “beast“ have been really amazing! Keep it up, save ride, best wishes from austria!
Nice little tank bag. I hope to be able to ride without tank bag, it’s not fun when filling up with petrol in the bike. But with a smart mounting system it will be much better than the bag I have used on the Bolt. On the Bolt I needed a large tank bag to store a lot of stuff. But a smaller bag with only the thing you really need to reach without getting off the bike sounds smarter. I like that it can be carried as a backpack.
Great adv gear review, Mattias! Mosko moto is very popular in Canada and the southern states, but they are moving into Europe lately. Good stuff but high priced to.
Everything from Mosko Moto seems well thought out. I haven't outfitted my 790 with any bags yet, but all roads seem to point o Mosko. Even used gear offered by riders has a high resale.
I am a late adopter even if I have kept my eyes of Mosko since the start. But everything has its timing! Three days of trying out the Mosko R80 Revolver V3.0, I can just say that this is serious equipment. Ready for any adventure and so well engineered.
Mattias Eriksson I have have much more conventional music made on my other synthesizers. Please understand it can only play one note at a time, so I use it mostly for its unique character, of which it has plenty.
Aah, it's always a pain to whait 😂 i'm really i pressed with the R80. It is a system in it's own league. I have a info video on that comming up as well. Since you reminded me i will do a sneak peak 😂👍🏻. Soon ”christmas” for you then👌🏻
Love the hiking intro. I love my nomad tank bag. Best decision ever. Very versatile. And easy to use from bike to bike. Also how's your raincover transparent plastic part holding up? Because doesn't it get to crinkled when you use the top pocket for it? Ive been pitting my rain cover in my second packet just rolled loosely because I am afraid to mess it up.
The cover hold up great so far. Have You heard of any issues with this? Like this bag since it doubles up very well for hikes on the trips. Before i had a small backpack with hydration bladder, it was ok but i can unload my back while riding with this. Cheers!
Hey Mattias are you using a different hose (and sleeve) for the water reservoir? From the photos on the Mosko website you get a drinking hose without a sleeve and it's blue. In hot weather I will really need a sleeve to keep the water in the hose from getting to hot, so I was wondering which one you are using.
Hi, I saw that too and was surprised when I unboxed the bag. In Moskos video it must be an earlier version or a prototype. The water bladder that came with the bag was of super quality and has the sleeve and was branded with Mosko Moto's logotype all over the 2 litre bladder that is made by Hydrapack. Cheers!
Yes, it is good for many tasks. I can see use of it outside the advriding use. Did not thougt in that direction before I got it in my hands. Saw that you uploaded a new episode of your march training. Will have a look at that Klas, most educating videos. 👌🤠
Another good one Mattias. Your videos continue to improve in lots of ways. Which camera are you using? There were 2 adds auto inserted into the video so you are being noticed. Mosko make excellent products but they are very expensive to buy in Australia. That tank bag would cost at least $400 here so it’s out of the question. I prefer a tank bag that has a single large pocket so that bulkier things can be stored.
Missed out the camera question DKW, I use a gopro hero 7 black to all the footage except from aerial and sometimes my mobile phone for stills. Nothing fancy, i keep it simple.
@@Braapncamp Im still trying to find a convenient way to mount it. If you figure one out let us know :) Other than that Ill ask in the Mosko Facebbook group because others have already done that.
Nice bag! Can it be mounted to the rear rack? I don't really like tank bags but this one doubling as a back pack is a great idea! Thanks for the video, how many kilometers do you have on your 790R? I have 6,400 km and I love my 790R more with every ride.
Hi Jimena, i've not tried to mount it on the rear. Will try that when lifting off the R80! Would be nice if that worked. I have close to 6K Km's. Need alot more Km's on this precious beast! 💪❤️🔥
Interesting 🤔 tank bag. I’ve been looking around for a tank bag for my KTM 500 EXC but it looks like it might be a little big for a dirt bike, though. I’m digging the incorporation of the water bladder. The only letdown is that the bag is not waterproof. Getting caught out in a heavy and sustained downpour, I would question the rain covers effectiveness and all bets are off when it comes to dropping a bike during a water crossing.
Is this ramson bag - eh - Mosko Moto tank bag big enough to keep a pair of tyre mounting levers in it? Now I do know what present 🎁 I can give for my girl-friend, my 790 😁. Cheers with Bärlauch and the 790 AdvR 🏍
Hehe, yes tire levers fits perfect. Also one heavy duty inner tube. I usually don't have the drone with me. So I will mostly have spare room in the bag. Thanks for the German translation 👌👍
No it's a Mora Garberg Carbon with multimount sheath. I had to try it on, we can only carry knife when typical camping, hunting or outdoors stuff except from work related.
They have some great looking tank bags. But I can’t get over the way they fit on a bike that has a high angle tank. Just doesn’t fit right. I don’t like the long universal straps down the side of the bike.
Then SW motech should be nice? I understand your point and have given that a thought. My bikes have had a flat top except from my 1200GSA and a DR800 I had. Om those bikes I had similar bags and it was fine. On the GSA I had a TT bag and that fitted like glowed due to it was modell shaped and no sidestraps was needed. Mosko's fit is due to it's universal. It's a jungle out there! I liked the hydration pack solution combined with backpack possibilities. Alot of nice hidden features as well, so it's well engineered.
