This works for every trading company, I was able to check for each of them. In my opinion, if you’re not too worried about being marked on the map, it’s the best way to level up guilds, especially if it’s small or inactive.
You made community day extra fun for me and my friends, we only play for 1 night a month and we all got pirate legend last night! We didn't even do any of the exploits but we sank 6-7 ships that must have been doing it because we have never seen so much loot in our lives 😂 we had so much fun cheers!

@@bababoss2184I’m not aware of anything patched. I did the cinder islet chest last night and it worked, merchant delivery’s in devils roar still works, sea fort still works. Shrines I’m unsure of but we did one 2 days ago and it worked
they haven’t patched the vault exploit or shrine exploit

@everyone don’t do it for Athena! all the Athena items from the sea fortresses are only selling for about 100-300 gold they decreased the item value because of that glitch! I tried Order and Merchant and they are still working as he showed in the video !
Saw this exploit unintentionally when doing skeleton forts. I didn't catch on that THIS was going on too; but basically started to see when kegs were getting used and your crew all dies, the kegs were respawning. Never even clued in this what was going on. Wish they would fix this because you cant get crap for ledger points anymore.

this also just works if you finish the fort, but then it just spawns normal fort loot although you have to find another way to die other than the phantoms
It still works on the 27th of February and i did it for about 30 minutes more or less and i got brinestone fortress so it was fast to get it started. i was on 3.735.352 gold and now im on 4.155.143. my athena reputation was level 18 now its level 25 and i got my guild leveled up from 1 to 2. all in all its a good way to get your reputation and money up with next to nothing effort

This got me from level 56 gold hoarder to level 67 damn this is very good
I did this in reverse like an idiot. But I can confirm that even this duplicates regular loot. I popped up from dive and beat that fort. Then grabbed both keys and sailed to another fort. I used the fortress key and it indeed duplicated regular loot after doing the dying trick. The. I sailed back to original dive first and it was active again. But, when I used Treasury vault key here it was just regular loot. Did the dying trick and regular loot spawned again. Obviously the reverse is not ideal, but I can confirm this is what happens if done the opposite way.
That's kinda funny but it is cool that you can just respawn the regular loot, I'm guessing the hidden fort loot also respawns so I guess if you still need that commendation the that would be the way to do it!

I have been trying these sea forts solo. But I am wanting to add a crew member. Whats the correct order to die if I wanted a duo helping. I haven't played around with it enough to find out.
You just need to both be on the ferry at the same time to reset the fort!

Whenever I've done Athena dives to a sea fort all that's in the vault at the end is a treasure chest, two small items, and a crate of legendary voyages... and then nothing in the storeroom. (this was before community weekend)... I don't know if this is only because I was like level 30 Athena at the time or what. I'll have to try this if I get to play this weekend.

Exploit for cursed treasure (works best with 4 people)
1. Brig-Glitch one person (revive while voting to lock in brig) this is so only 2 people are needed to vote on things
2. Drop two people (one of them brig glitched) off at rapier cay
3. Sail ship to port merrik and park ship in specific location (next to merchants)
4. 2 People on ship vote up cursed treasure voyages while 2 people on rapier cay dig them up
when parked in this location the treasure will spawn on rapier cay every time
5. Once you've dug up enough, have the ship go to rapier cay and transport the items to sell
(put all rage chests on front of bow, grog chests wherever, and use a rowboat to transfer crying chests)
6. Sell with extreme profit, we made about 3 mil in one hour (works best with gold hoarder emissary)
Side note: if you dock the rowboat full of crying chests to a ship it will sink almost instantly- so have fun with that.

@@OEyeCu812 It's not like anyone forces you to do these things, while others maybe want to make gold to afford more expensive items who might not have the time to play the game 24/7 to make said gold normally
or you could just get a brigantine spawn on sanctuary, have a friend go to lonerly isle and vote the cursed treasure with the 2 crew then other guy just random digs and a big tip is get a harpoon rowboat and harpoon the brigantine so no cursed treasure goes on ship and while pulling the rowboat the waves cool down the rage chest too
Until this is fully patched, you can still use this method as a great way to get to grade 5.
- Use this procedure for Athena until you hit grade 5, took me and my crew about 30 minutes.
- Sail to an outpost and sell the pitiful loot
- claim and complete emissary
- lower flag, repeat.
As long as you don’t cancel the dive it’ll be sat there waiting for you. This method isn’t nearly as good but if Rare really wanna play that game then it’s what we’ve gotta do
Or you could just do Ashen Chest of Legends quest, get grade 5 from doing like 2 in an hour, get grade 5 emissary, then have 3 Ashen CoL in an hour and a half. All legitimate and less boring.
I tried this exploit with the order of souls. with a grade 5 emissary flag and on community weekend I got 24 levels. I tried this exploit with a friend and after 20 minutes of stacking and dying we got 24 levels and 460,000 gold
Been patched by rare to an extent. All loot from sea fort voyages are nerfed to an insane degree. If you look in this comment section you can see how desperate the community is for rebalancing of loot. Thanks Rare for this very shitty fix that will hinder everyone instead of just rebalancing the system.

Its not patched?? Nerfed loot was already there with the dive update because u literally skip sailing. We made like 800k in half an hour with Merchant.
So this is the reason my athena loot is selling for 112 gold. I was like wtffff
The real question: i once had a shrine turn into regular loot after fleeing from it cause a reaper was close, could the logic of running away from a dived fort, then returning apply to the loot on top so you could farm gems for the hunters call? I doubt it would but its a shame there's no hunters call loot to be gotten.
You can do this with shrines to get them to spawn regular loot which includes a lot more gems, so just do that.
This method was crazyy. I got both order Of souls and merchant from lvl 13 to 32 in just an hour and got about 800k
Worked great!! Nerfed though.. Athena items sell for 100-200g now even during community weekend.

Merchant Sea Fort Exploit: 732k gold and 16-ish lvls per hour (Only grab the diamond crates, I was solo)
Did this for order of souls with a friend, captain book says we earned 11.52 million gold but we only actually received about 2.4 Million. Not sure why its buggy but beware.

Yeah I just did this for an hour and all I got was 100k gold and 1 level, I got more rep from lowering the flag
After 1h of stacking in 2 guys we got around 40 lvls in gold holders and1.2m of gold.. another hour for order of souls we got 33lvls and 1.6m of gold :)

I found a work around kinda all you need to do is get grade 5 then lower the flag you get like a half of a level and I'm level 72. The best fort is the Imperial Crown because Port Merrick is super close.
Yeah if you do this and don't finish the fort you could go back and and keep doing it after re raising your emissary, It might not be amazing but its the best we can do with the situation they have provided us with
you also dont need to die in order to reset it, you can just shoot out and swim two mermaids away, when you take the third mermaid it will be far enough away to reset

I figured this out after i died on accident at the same fort and it gave me another key i used at a different fort.
Notice how all of these exploits happening under utilized parts of the game like sea forts , and the Devils roar
Yeah probably because no one uses them so exploits like these have been going unnoticed for quite a while because no one cares about them

You know, I wish you and the commentor would have posted this after Community Weekend. The number of people who knew about this would be small, and they wouldn't have had to nerf it for the weekend punishing everybody. It sucked doing other Athena quests and picking up a skull, grail, or crate and only getting like 150 each with little experience.
Yeah well the idea was that they wouldn't f*ck up their whole weekend to fix an exploit considering the fact that they let hackers roam free constantly, But I guess punishing creative players is better for their game than punishing hackers in their mind
yeah that does suck. not completely this guys fault but it definitely didn’t help. its fun to watch this channel grow but its not so fun to watch actual things in the game get nerfed and players suffer because the videos blow up. lol
In the meantime between patches, Rare opted to nerf Athena loot for everyone due to these exploits a whopping 90% during Community Weekend.

I do it about 50 min, athena loot. Sell during gold rush, make 700k gold and 11 athena lvl's

Yo hear me out, we tried some insane sh*t with this bug exploit.
So we did the same start that you did (get the key from another forteress), but instead of dying, you can park your ship at a cannon distance of the forteress, launch yourself at the opposite side of the fort so that all the crew stays far from the fort. Then take the mermaid, then launch yourself on the fort and get the loot that got reset. Since you don't need to die but be far enough to reset the loot, there might be a way to do it faster by launching you out of the range of the fort then back on the fort.
I haven't timed it to know how much time it takes, but I get the impression it's way faster then waiting the gosht to kill you and waiting in the ferry.
I've timed myself doing it like you described it, and if you get a good run, it takes 55-65 sec to get off from the ferrry, take the loot, wait that the gosht kill you and to wait that the door gets unlocked.
I will time myself doing it with the launching strategy to compare but I get the impression it's faster.
Also, it's totally duable to do this as fast as a sloop (almost), all the crew can just go in the same corner and wait that the gosht go to melee range with their sword as it will hit everyone at the same time and since gosht always prefer going to melee it's easy to die as a 4man crew when you all go in the same corner (it might even be faster since you get more gosht by wave depending of the boat you're on). But the big plus is that you can travel with the loot way faster and sell the loot way faster which make it better then a solo/duo sloop.
If you can pin this message, people could use this to get even more rep and gold !
Edit 1 : So I timed my method when you launch yourself, it's 15 sec longer on average.. :/

Well honestly the one you have more fun dong is probably most worth your time so you don't get burnout
It's okay to use it once or twice but don't go overboard because I feel that rare will crack down really soon, especially ones that are overdoing it. lol
They already patched it but this is a good idea to follow for any exploit

Rare nerfed the Athena chalice and skull by reducing gold and rep by 92%. Is this exploit even worth doing? The Athena crates are still (as of 8am UTC on feb 27th) 2k a piece. But would DR Athena voyages be better rep per hour?
They made the ashen voyage of legends much quicker to do I reccomend that until a new glitch comes out

Haven't personally tested it but I assume its better than everything except probably hourglass
You can do this at any sea fort without diving. Just go to the fort, complete it,loot die loot die and repeat for however long you want just be careful not to amass a large amount as it may cause a yellow beard. Also since you are visible to everyone on the map if they see your grade climbing from 1 to 5 at the same fort they might try to sink you or report you.
Edit to add: this will just give you cursed treasure and the other few loot items (captains chest, bounty skull, merchant items)

I did this and got 49 levels for gold hoarder in 1 hour

There is one i know that still works, it takes longer than this exploit and doesnt work for athena but faster than doing voyages normally. but i aint telling or they gonna patch it

The door will stay open after every death no need for another key
Is this just working solo? I did it with a crew on a brig and it doesn’t work. We let the loot respawn but the gold reputation was extremely low.

Just killed somebody as a reaper for their athenas emissary 5 flag and they were at a fortress so I decided to check to see if they were doing the exploit and they were. Over 40 chests full of athenas fortune stuff, if you're reading this I'm so sorry 🙏🙏

Bruv, i did this for merchants just after you posted the video for 20 minutes and got 300k for all the diamond crates and 18 levels past the first distinction.
Did it for athena 10 minutes ago for 40 minutes and barley got 90k and a level.
They nerfed it, could've spent their time doing something productive like fixing hitreg or anti cheat, but no they need to fix the problems that dont hurt other players.
Yeah not to mention they fixed this but broke a whole bunch of other stuff, They really hit the panic button and took the whole house down with them

No because it respawns the basic loot which doesn't include any Athena's items!
Rare really messed up, I tried doing a regular Athena voyage and the loot I got was nerfed like the Sea Fort loot. My friend didn’t know about this exploit as well and was super confused. They should’ve tried to patch it after the weekend.
Yeah they built a broken game logic system, Panic when something like this comes out, But if they really didn't want this stuff in the game they would just make a non broken logic system. Either way they really screwed this one up. I get that they don't want people using it but jeezus they messed even more stuff up trying to fix it

not sure if i’m doing it correctly but i got only 54,000 gold and around 2 levels for athena’s so it’s possible they did something. i also got a commendation that said something about exploits?
The exploits might have been from the plunder pass but otherwise they nerfed the loot from this method
So, I have a little question: What is the probability of getting banned using this? As much as I want to stuff my pocket with gold I don't really want to lose my character

If you have 1 other person you can get rid of all the time, you are dead by interchanging who's grabbing loot.

I imagine a simple way they will fix this is to just make it so the keys are now unique to every fortress now. And leaving the island no longer resets the contents of the upstairs store room until the entire fort resets.

Yes this would be very easy to them to fix but who knows maybe they will just be lazy and throw out some random bans instead of fixing it
