im planning on tinting a mini aswell, did you have to trick the door latch to make the window go up? and how did you turn off all the lights so battery doesnt die?
bajoras16 nope, only way the defroster lines could have issues is if old tint was removed improperly, or someone scraped the glass with a razor blade while cleaning, but the film itself does not interfere with anything as it gets applied on top of the lines
bajoras16 yeah applying it and giving it a try is not a problem, I suggest using warm water and soap as the install solution, you don’t need any special solutions, the rear window will have to be heat shrunk, if you don’t know what that is, I recommend watching as many TH-cam videos on installing tint as you can, that will give you a really good idea of the procedure and how it’s done, take your time and it will turn out decent :)

Hello, yes I did trick the latch, when you do that, the lights actually turn off because the car thinks the doors are closed

We did not see you shrink anything and bad angle to see you tint back window
It was more of a vlog and not really a diy, everything that needed shrinking got done before install, but thank you for watching!
