Lufthansa Boeing 787-9 (D-ABPD) landing and takeoff in Munich [EDDM/MUC]

Brandnew Lufthansa B787-9 Dreamliner landing in Munich comming from Lufthansas main hub in Frankfurt (EDDF/FRA).
The D-ABPD was built in 2019 for Hainan Airlines in China, but was never delivered to them, so Lufthansa bought it and it joined the fleet on 30th of November 2022. Since then it has been mainly used for crew training shutteling between Frankfurt and Munich, like it did on the 27th of January 2023.
The inbound flight was LH108, scheduled arrival in Munich at 15.10 lcl.
The outbound flight was LH113, scheduled departure in Munich at 16.00 lcl.

Thanks for your comment! Unfortunately it`s not planned to fly on Japan routes so far, I think Lufthansa will start flying to Nagoya again with an A340-300 and to Osaka with an A350-900, but who knows, maybe in the future the A340 gets replaced by a 787 :) Kind regards from Germany my friend!

Its great seeing planes I've filmed here at Paine Field out in the wild. 3 787 have been delivered. Berlin, Frankfurt and Hamburg. Dusseldorf and Wiesbaden are next and that will complete the 5 Hainan Airlines 787-9's that Lufthansa took over. Great shots!
