Great video....i thought this would be similar to Lowrance Eagle Eye 9, but, that product seems to have a much smaller cone, and no side scan. This, looks like an affordable way to get live sonar, and totally transferable. I'm very interested!!
That’s all nice and fine but, anyone with an IPhone or IPad knows how how difficult they are to read in bright sunlight or they tend to overheat & shut down altogether.

one more Queston. I just seen where that have the normal transducer , I'm assuming using the wife router you can connect both the transducer and the live transducer and toggle between them on the iPad. am i correct ?
Interested to see the power output and resources used because I used both an iPhone and iPad (different models) for years in the dugout scoring games when coaching baseball. They would work fine on cloudy days or in the Fall or early Spring. Anything over 90 degrees the iPhones and iPads in direct or even partial direct sunlight would turn off due to being too hot. Add a protective case on either and they held in the heat and crapped out sooner. Id have to sit in the corner of the dugout in the shade to really get either iOS device to work on really hot days. Definitely has potential - maybe GEN 2 or GEN 3 after they work out the kinks. Any idea on cost????
We all know we are getting ripped on these screens we are buying.. 1500 for a 10 inch screen you can buy a 12 inch laptop for 200 bucks 50 inch tv 250. I knew someone would come up with this. I use livescope its awesome but Garmin really does stick it to us

I have a Deeper Chirp +2, not the best sonar in the world but it's a sonar. And the worst thing about it by a far is that it doesn't have a dedicated screen, the trouble connecting to the unit and the battery drain on the phone is immense. I'm looking at buying a separate, expensive unit simply to have a separate screen and I also want a larger 9 inch screen too. This is bad.
They are telling me by end of this year. Realistically, I don't see this product available until 1st quarter next year. That's just my opinion based on how things usually go when releasing new products.
Looks comparable to the LVS32 for return quality. I can see the LVS34 clearly outperforms it. It would be a decent entry level system for kayaks and ice fishermen.
I was also thinking a portable system with manual pole for dock owners. I live on a lake and would like something for family when fishing off my dock. Thanks for watching and commenting.
I will admit the images are MUCH better than I expected. I would have to assume this is paid for Garmin technology. How big a company are they as far as any needed warranty goes. As said, a tablet is so hard to see in sunlight and it WILL overheat when processing all that data. They are better off developing their own monitor and getting rid of all the routers, dongles and gadget. Sounds good to be portable but will be impractical. Totally guessing here, but they have I would think may go for around $500??? They need to do an all included set up with monitor for under a grand IMO.
They asked me to test their products at icast. I will be making more videos in a few weeks after I receive the router. Testing and making videos will be much easier to do wirelessly. Thanks for watching.
Is it still cheaper with purchasing all the extra crap? The app, IPad, cables, router, pole mount and etc? Seems like they give you an engine but you have to buy the parts to assemble the rest of car yourself.

could be a good option for a guy that fishes when its not hot or maybe an ice fisherman. From May-October it wouldn't be able to handle the heat down south where I live. My I phone has trouble going through a day of fishing without overheating. Ive had my Ipad out on the boat to run Mercury Vesselview while breaking in a powerhead and I had to make sure to keep it out of the sun so it didnt overheat. pretty cool though for a cheap option. maybe all of the guys that hate forward sonar will be able to afford this and they can stop complaining so much 😂😂😂😂 They probably dont fish when its hot anyway 😛

Seems like a good idea but an iPhone/iPad is terrible on the water. For one, screen is to dim to be used in bright sunlight. It’s ver hard to see. And secondly, it can’t take the temperature extremes. After being used in the sun for a short period, it will over heat and shut off. Their batteries also don’t like cold temp and their will be much shorter run times in these conditions. I used to use a iPad for mapping and it was a waste of time. This device may actually be worse than nothing because nothing would be free.
