I’m five minutes in and I think this might be the best TMB play through I’ve seen. And I’ve seen hundreds at this point. (Still waiting for my all in to arrive 😂) these edits are soooo clean and entertaining. I really hope we are lucky enough to see more! Instant subscriber here.
Your comment literally made me smile ear to ear. I was really wondering if anyone would appreciate the edit. It takes a while to do and your comment gives me fuel to keep going. I did just get done with an epic Static play through. I won’t ruin it but there certainly are some major high and low points :) it should be out in a couple days.
I have already seen all your TMB gameplays. I really hope this channel grows as much as it should've by now because the quality and gameplay are top tier. Do Riffle next!!!!
Thanks for the kind words! I really appreciate you watching. Out of curiosity what are some of your favorite games and which ones do you think would work in this gameplay format? Re: riffle, that is literally the only TMB content I dont have ;). I could have swore I ordered him with a Hoplo pre order but I must have spaced. Gale is being edited now. She should be up soon!
@NeonGorillasGameShack oh boy, it is hard picking a favorite. But if you have them, gameplay from Valor and Villainy: Ludwigs Labyrinth, ISS Vanguard, Deep Rock Galactic or Hoplo: Victorum, those would be awesome. And since you don't have Riffle, then I would go a bit oldy and say Gasket (since barely anyone shows it some love)
@@laneudy7 all great suggestions! Gasket is a good one. I think I am going to start pairing old and new and will have to think about who goes with gasket.
Funny you would mention helicopters going over your house and thinking of aliens. I have the same experience when I hear them over my house as well. And is most definitely from going down too many rabbit hole ufo videos lol. But I LOVE them!
I was shocked to see you only had 18 subscribers when I subbed. Then I realized that this is a super new channel. I was hoping to binge watch some older gameplay videos. The quality and editing is fantastic!
That’s is such a nice thing to say! Yeah I just started. I am working on a static play through now that should be upon the next day or two. Nice comments like yours are keeping me going at 18 subs so thank you.
It's a awesome play. I love the way you are editing your vidéo, it's so compelling to watch. I can't wait to see more, and maybe, be foolish : all the gearlocks!
Thanks for the kind words. I plan to at least do solo plays of all the new gear locks and see if they get any traction. I am happy to do the vids if people watch but they are pretty labor intensive to do a bunch for 20 subs :) I will say am editing static now and that should be out soon.
I just saw your starting youtube video. I think your editing can truly set you apart in the bg space. Adds so much to watchability and makes it more engaging. I think the sound effects are a bit loud.
Fantastic video! Great way to showcase TMB. I so need to table it more but playing through ATO right now. As soon as I finish cycle one, definitely going to table Unbreakable some. Carcass looks really fun. I think I will generally two hand it with two gearlocs, so maybe Carcass and Statik for my first run of it.
Hey thanks for watching! Nice to know someone out there is :) i kick my self now but I sold my ATO because I did not have a place to keep it set up. How are you doing with the rules? I hear they are a bear….I typically play TMB two handed as well just wanted to do a true solo vid on each one to start. I will probably move to trying to find synergies and make some two handed vids.
Thank you for this playthrough, Carcass is complex! I appreciate your editing, quirky sound bites and closeups too! But if I may offer a suggestion, please omit the music, it’s distracting when I’m trying to learn, listen to and watch you.
I don't really do these anymore but thanks for the advice and appreciation. The edits took a really long time on this stuff. I do plan on doing something similar for elder scrolls as that will likely be more relevant and better received. I use music more sparingly and strategically now.
Not sure how to play Rok n Rol even if they explain it well on the cards. Interpretations sometimes are different and you put away smokescreens I have from lava, thanks a lot. 👌
Great video!! I think you forgot to trigger the recover 2 of Rock the turn before you took him out which would have left him around for one more turn. Keep up the great work sir!
Yeah nice approach and you can understand why few people do it this way as it must be a great deal of work. It didn't make any difference but in Base and UT you can only use Loot on your turn unless the card says otherwise. @10:30ish You had your turn then got damaged then used the loot to heal off your turn.. easy mistake as you rolled back in your head saying you forgot to use it but it was still out of sequence and not available to heal :P.. not got my copy yet but can Carcass ignore this (innate?) or is it a new rule in UB? Carcass mat is only marked as melee so far as i can see so he can't start in Range position. Do you take damage or True damage at the start of your turn if your on lava? I personally never play TMB 1H Solo I tend to always play 2H+ and pair a new gear with one or two i know well so im not learning 2 gears at the same time. Many reasons for this but a few are Tyrants tend to get key signature skills gimped for true solo, you don't have much in the way positional tactics on the mat and you don't get many of the really nasty baddies or any 20 pointers.. worst part is your more forced down optimal builds TS as you don't have another character to compensate for weakness by pursuing less useful but fun more situational skills... TS is the best way to learn though. Figment looks interesting with the time travel ini manipulation..
Wow thanks for the thoughtful commentary. Yeah I gave myself some grace and rolled it back in my head to use the loot. Otherwise I die and video over:). I totally screwed up starting in range. I had just got done playing figment and biffed that one. Lava is true damage… totally agree with your commentary on 1h solo. Before starting to film this series I never played solo for the reasons you listed. I just wanted to start with as tight of videos as possible. I want to get use to them and start to think about synergies then maybe do so vids on pairings. Thanks again for watching and giving me grace on the rules. I’m new to filming TMB and trying to run the rules at the same time :)
Probably one of the better solo cuts for a TMB game. Nice and quick. Also editing in all the effect texts is really good. I know it's probably a lot of work. Good stuff. I noticed that you were starting you character in the ranged spots on the mat but this gearlock looks like a melee one. Is this because you are an undertow player and didn't know there is a different starting spot on the original mat or do you know something about this mat that I don't know?
First off thanks for the great feedback. Yeah it does take a lot of time to edit this but am experimenting with trying to make a quicker more engaging play through. Secondly you totally caught my mistake. I had just played figment and was used to starting on ranged. Totally slipped my mind! Thanks for watching :)
@@Neon_Gorilla Yeah it actually hurt you in a fight as you spent dex on that 1st turn to move up into them. I caught a few things in the final battle too but that happens to all of us. This game has a lot to manage especially that fight. My KS just showed up to complete my collection and I played 2 games this weekend and I caught several mistakes I made later and probably dozens I didn't even catch. Yeah your session was about the best TMB session I have seen in terms of showing the text or mechanics and being edited to save time. Keep it up.
Oh yeah. If I’m honest I think I may have never played TMB 100% right and then i go ahead and add filming at the same time as learning new baddie and terrain mechanics :) I was on a streak of playing TMB for months and I felt like I had it down but coming back I am certainly still trying to get my bearings back.
Loved the play through, an insight in how to play Carcass. Unbreakable is certainly a very polished game and worth the effort to learn. Do you have Polaris for a next game ?
Thanks for the love! I am glad you liked it. I am actually working on a static playthrough now but Polaris is a fast follow for sure. She is actually the one I am most excited about but I really want to spend a little time tinkering with her before I get on camera as it looks like her mechanics are really unique.

Thank you! Any gearloc combos you are itching to see?
I’m interested in your view / review of Polaris, Carcass, and Static. And if you had to rank from most fun, how would you rank them.
@@dennisng5437 that is great to hear I am writing that up now and “fun” is a category I am trying to quantify!
Great video and editing. Nice job.
Thanks for the encouragement! Glad you liked it.
Just getting into TMB, I'm pumped to work my way to Unbreakable 👍 great vid
Thanks for the kind words! I hope you love it as much as I do. There is so much to go through. No need to rush to unbreakable.

What’s the go with always starting Carcass in the back row? I thought he was a melee gearloc?
Also, you CAN cook break type baddies - it’s mechs that you aren’t able to mush into recipes (due to the lack of meat)
Thanks for pointing that out. I had just played figment and was in the habit.
What happen to gross food. It disappear suddenly…at the middle of the fight with rock and roll near 39 minutes…
