the only way for inflatable boat is to go with hypalon, pvc dies fast on the sun and salt, takes more damage on rocks while spearfishing the coastal waters, gets stiff in cold water, combined with constant warm cold exchange it becomes brittle and develop structural cracks. It is more difficult to store folded since it does not absorb lubricants of different kind as well as hypalon does. So after owning a lot of inflatable boats, made of both pvc and hypalon, both for my personal pleasure as well as for spearfishing training that i have done over the years, hypalon boats are the best that you can have and use. The price is little higher the pvc ones, but if you want something that will give you security and reliability both for you and for your buisines, hypalon is way to go.
Just like you said, pocket friendly and good size👍 I just purchased the Excursion5. After this small fishing trip will let you know on my personal experience.
It’s fluctuates between 150-220$ . I highly recommend a motor mount and trolling motor I used mine 5 times last year. Had to patch 2/3 spots . It was able to hold air on the water for 3 hours . I plan on just setting a new boat I can reattach the motor mount .. will say , it says it fits 5 but 2 people if you bring a cooler and like one other bag it begins to get pretty crowded I couldn’t imagine fitting 5 people . 3 could fit comfortably just organize your stuff you bring . I love my lil trolling motor too but might try a little faster motor . One last thing I think my hikes came because I was lazy and had the boat fly out the back of my truck . I’d invest in a wagon for transport also . And they finally came out with a Bimini too . Look up mods people have made .
I have the excursion 5. It takes 2ft waves pretty good. I wasn't paying attention to the weather. I look back and WOW. The water changed on me. But it did great. The 2 biggest problem with the boat is standing up in it. The floor is not solid as you would hope. Wished they would offer a light weight foldable floor. The other is. The transom can be over powered by the motor. The propeller will slid under the back of the boat if you use too much power. To over come this. They should add an additional transom mounts up near the mid section of the boat and stiffen the back transom area. Other than that a great boat. You can go anywhere and do everything a kayak can do. Plus carry more.
I'm in the process of buying one now. Several videos show that making a 3/4 plywood floor is fairly easy to do and extending the transom poles with 1/2" electrical conduit solves the problem with the trolling motor. Hope this is helpful!

Hypalon costs 10x more and also is unhealthy to breathe like PVC
It's 100° here in florida. The last thing we need is a black boat.
To exexplode 😂😂😂
It's 20* here in Alaska. I bought a dark grey boat with that in mind 🙂

Is it a stable solo boat for lake fishing?
